I was disappointed when it was organized for a drop off 30 minutes away from my destination when clearly others were close by. This added miles to my bill for wich I had no choice. I specifically asked NOT to be sent to Sterling Heights. Upon arriving there was no easy way to park and only a narrow Handicap parking space. There was no way to get good after fotos of the vehicle. The woman was unprofessionally attired. She asked me to drive a 20’ truck which was way too big for what I needed. Also it was the day of extremely dangerous hurricane conditions, so the smaller profile the better.It was $98.00 to fill the truck and I left the truck with more gas than when I started and was not credited for the extra fuel. The offer to upgrade would have cost more in fuel to pull and no compensation to do U-Haul the favor. I was not pleased with this experience. The truck was clean except someone had left dirty socks behind the seat. They were not mine. Had a 10’ vehicle been offered I certainly would have chosen it.

Kate was so friendly and walked me through the process. Moving can be stressful and being a single mom moving to a new town is not for the faint of heart. I wasn’t sure about getting a UHaul but I’m so glad I did!

I returned my truck an hour later then the contract. They charged me for a full additional day and would not allow me to use the truck for the additional day. I hope I can get my money back but no I do not recommend this service.
