I will never use UHaul again because you mislead me as you have other people. You advertise a day rate when you can only have the truck for 6 hours and then you penalize us if we go over the time by charging us for another day. I hate switch and bait tactics and that's what you've done.Maurice S.

The lot was very crowded and small. When I returned my cargo trailer, I was told to just back it in a spot and unhook it. Shouldn't the U-Haul employee do this for me? So here I am trying to figure out how to unhook this trailer and manually push it into the "spot". I dropped it off on a Friday and it was not checked in until Sunday. I made my reservation online and received the quote confirmation and then when it was picked up, the cost was more than double. There were fees that were added on and I was charged for an extra day because it was picked up 30 min. early. The extra day was refunded, but $40 of insurance that I had opted out of when reserving was charged to me without any disclosure. The attendant was rude and completely unhelpful.Brian T.

After booking online and having a printed quote, the representative added insurance and other options adding another $70 to the quoted price. I disputed it immediately and he gave me another document to sigh with the current price however I still have the higher price charged to my credit card. Will never do business at that location again. Also, representative was not there to make the connection of the trailer to our vehicle and never verified we did it correctly or checked lights.John V.

My truck reservation says that I'm to return the truck on Monday. Didn't say at time to be returned by. I returned the truck on Monday at 10am and this uhaul location charged my card with another day for the truck and car dolly!Amanda Y.
The seal on the dolly was broken before we even got the truck and we didn't realize until we got to our location â€œwhich is a 10$ chargeâ€ had to go ask where the keys were 3 times before they realized they prepared the wrong truck, employees lacked professionalism and seemed as tho they could care less. Both times I've rented from UHaul have been an absolute disaster. Had rented a pickup and 12' x 6' trailer, I got a 10 foot box truck. I had to make 3 trips to move where as the pickup and trailer would have been once. Great staffTYLER S.

This location was horrible had to go way in the back to get my ie. truck that was not checked in the door was broke it was filthy had some illegal things for weed in it gas mileage they had wrong and the worst part was the mileage that had calculated was way off and charged me a insane price when they didn't have correct mileage the lady said that truck should have never went out !And d so poke you some guy for customer service like he was gonna help name Heath raper but was the worst one very rude don't recommend this uhaul service at all especially on spring place rd!!!!!!TASHA C.

Garage door on trailer not maintained, very difficult to operate. when trailer was returned, could not even close the door. The U-Haul "self checkin" is terrible. if you are going to rely on this, you should have big bold buttons on top of site, "rent". "Check-in"!!! over all not a positive experience or reflection on the parent company .MICHAEL R.
This location Bradley Barter & Pawn was very good and the staff was very helpful. The equipment was very well organized and clean. No complaints here, but please read below: My rental was initially set for the Chattanooga Broad street facility and the employee named Sam was very uncooperative. I made a reservation two days in advance, checked-in online, arrived on time to pick up the auto transport and waited for assistance. I followed the U-Haul protocol. I was told by the yard person that someone inside would have to connect the trailer to my vehicle. While waiting, Sam rented MY trailer (the same trailer) to a walk up customer who DID NOT have a reservation. When questioned about it, Sam told me that my reservation did not matter and that he did not plan to do anything about it, that it was my problem, not his. He then displayed an unprofessional attitude when confronted and became hostile, as did I. He was extremely unprofessional and should be reprimanded for poor attitude and poor customer service. Since he rented MY TRAILER to someone else, it caused me to back track 40 miles the opposite direction to get the nearest available trailer, hence the Cleveland location. I did speak with the Broad street facility manager regarding this incident, he sincerely apologized and he stated he would address the matter. This staff of Broad street has always been very helpful and the equipment is always clean. No previous problems have ever occurred there with us. I do not feel this is a direct reflection on U-Haul, which has a great name and reputation and we will (when needed) return to the Broad street facility as it has always been trouble free and the manager does all he can to please the customer. Sam should be GONE, he is not good for business. A business cannot treat customers this way and expect the customer to return.Sam E.

I pulled into the front and they expected me to get back into the truck and drive it around back. I had to explain that I was in a lot of pain and didn't feel that I was capable, at that point, of backing it out and moving it. I was charged for a second day because I was 45 minutes late and they tacked on the insurance charge for a full day as well. These extra charges caused my bank account to be overdrawn.Jeanette M.

Terrible experience. You can show and tell the customer ethically and transparently all the fees and charges included. Instead of charging them an inordinate amount at the end of the trip that wasn't displayed in any advertising or the contract.JOHN K.
