I was over charged an extra day. I rented the morning of 11/19/20 and I dropped it off 11/19/20 1700 and I was billed for the whole day of the 20th. I was cheated a whole day that I did not have. I want my money returned for the 20th

We had a reservation. The man was nice enough to give us the rental, even though he said he was closed. He put us in one that was just returned. It was absolutely filthy. Crumbs on seat, sticky on floor, nothing wiped down! We're in a global pandemic and this is what I'm handed. He didn't go over anything with me, just took the car tow off and walked back inside. I will never use that location again.

I selected Bradley Barter and Pawn because it is close to my home. I made a reservation online which totaled to around $57. I called the morning of pickup and asked if I could swing by a couple hours early. The person I spoke to said that is fine, no problem. I arrived at the location to pick up my reservation and Jason (believe to be the proprietor) was telling me I was early and the trailer was not ready. I explained that I called and the person I spoke to said that was fine - no big deal, but he seemed annoyed that I thought I could arrive early. He asks for my credit card and swipes it - I get an instant notification on my phone saying I've been charged around $128. I immediately ask him about it and he walks me through why. First reason is because I'm picking it up early, second is due to insurance that I didn't select when making the reservation. I'm not sure on protocol here, but I don't know why he didn't tell me the amount about to be charged prior to swiping - that is a pet peeve of mine. The next half hour is spend with him cancelling the charge and waiting for the system to clear. I mentioned to him I would be returning it on Monday morning and there was no "hey we'll be closed that day, so make sure you check the trailer in via the uHaul website". Instead he let me find that out on my own when I received a $21 charge to my card. Terrible experience. I don't leave negative comments in public forums because they often are unreliable and inconsiderate (google, Facebook, etc), but I appreciate having the opportunity to share my experience here. I hope something good can come out of me taking the time to share my experience - I won't be using this location again and I won't recommend it to friends/family.

Customer service poor, lady wasnt very motivated. I had to back the trailer into the area they cleared and had me park the truck. Didnt go over anything or check it while I was there. Not very energetic.

I was told that if I returned the truck early, the full amount would NOT be charged to my card, only the day it was used. That is not what happened. Within 5 minutes of returning the truck online, I received an email with the receipt showing that only the amount of one day rental was charged and the amount of $54.89 had been refunded to my card. The lady at Bradley Pawn was completely rude to me. She stated that "Uhaul doesn't do that." I showed her a screenshot of my account showing that the full amount of $116.93 had been posted from my account and no pending refund was there. All she said was that Uhaul didn't do what I said and that if I had an issue then I needed to contact my bank. So, I took her advice and called my bank. They confirmed that the full amount had been charged and there had not been a refund issued. They then opened a dispute against Uhaul. I choose this location because they had extremely good reviews. I will not go back there. I have never had such a bad experience at any other Uhaul.

The site where we rented the truck said we could return anywhere in Cleveland Tenn. We returned on Sunday and then we received a phone call asking about trailer from another dealer. He stated that trailer was suppose to be returned to his site. We had to go pick up trailer and take it to this site on Monday. This was a horrible rental. Please call me at 912-222-0739

Please take responsibility for filling up the gas tank yourselves if it is not full. We didn't start with a full tank.

Low tire pressure light was on upon arrival. Discovered a nail in tire, was basically told no other trucks available.... good luck and call U-Haul if you have a flat. Had to stop twice to put air in the tire.

The information I had was not clear as how the process works. Didn't know I had to download the U-Haul app. Once I was able to open vehicle, the battery was dead. If not for me having jumper cables I'd seen with out a truck.

Clear lines of communication would make the process much easier. We had several attempts made on two different days before the rental actually occurred then we had difficulty contacting the appropriate personnel when there was an issue.

have more trucks available I got a truck here but he did not have any more for others. before I found this location I check with 3 other locations and they did not have a truck to rent either. I went to one location they were 2 trucks setting there and the place was not even open for business

I can't believe the charges that was applied to this rental. The truck was almost empty when I picked it up and I had to put gas in it to use it and then I was charged $73.00 to fill it up after it was returned. This is after pay nearly a dollar a mile for a truck that was only used for less than three hours. You guys are robbing people. I will definitely find another service next time! Never again!!!!

The rental process takes a long time at any Uhaul location. Also, they would not me rent the equipment I requested because their (Uhaul, not the specific location) software keeps saying it would not work. So instead of a 30 minute job with the two wheeled tow dolly, it was a 2.5 hour job with the full trailer (pulling the vehicle inch by inch with a small come along). So thanks again Uhaul!

The tread on the truck tires were bald which caused a blow out during the drive. No one explained how to use the car carrier. The young kid didn't tell us anything regarding the tuck or car carrier, we had to figure it out as we put the car on the trailer.

We had no issues with the location itself but there were issues with the Uhaul site that resulted in us not being able to access the truck until 10am (rental time was 9am) and customer service represenative on the phone said she was unable to help us and we would just have to wait until the website was back up. So we ended up sitting at the pick up site for around 45 minutes trying to get our reservations squared away.

The guy at the location just pointed me in the direction of the truck and didn't even do a walk around inspection. Also the blankets I rented were not in the truck and someone had to go back to the facility to get them. I do not know if that was his fault of the documentation from U-Haul. We moved during a weekend of rain and snow. There was trash still in the truck behind the seats when I picked it up. The windshield was smeared and dirty on the inside making rainy night driving difficult and the windshield wipers were terrible. The truck functioned well.

The gentleman at the store was rude. I am a female, 5'2" tall. I had never pulled a trailer or hooked one up. He never asked me nor did he come outside for help. I recently had back surgery and had to lift the heavy trailer by myself and figure out how to hook it up. I did not do it correctly and when I got to a friends house he said it was a good thing that I did not lose the trailer on the way there. I did not have it tightened at all onto the ball. Didn't know I was supposed to. The gentlemen renting it never came outside at all to help me and by then I was mad enough that I was not going to go in and ask for his help. He was too busy talking to another man at the counter. Very very poor customer service and could have easily caused me to wreck.
