This location was horrible had to go way in the back to get my ie. truck that was not checked in the door was broke it was filthy had some illegal things for weed in it gas mileage they had wrong and the worst part was the mileage that had calculated was way off and charged me a insane price when they didn't have correct mileage the lady said that truck should have never went out !And d so poke you some guy for customer service like he was gonna help name Heath raper but was the worst one very rude don't recommend this uhaul service at all especially on spring place rd!!!!!!TASHA C.

Garage door on trailer not maintained, very difficult to operate. when trailer was returned, could not even close the door. The U-Haul "self checkin" is terrible. if you are going to rely on this, you should have big bold buttons on top of site, "rent". "Check-in"!!! over all not a positive experience or reflection on the parent company .MICHAEL R.
This location Bradley Barter & Pawn was very good and the staff was very helpful. The equipment was very well organized and clean. No complaints here, but please read below: My rental was initially set for the Chattanooga Broad street facility and the employee named Sam was very uncooperative. I made a reservation two days in advance, checked-in online, arrived on time to pick up the auto transport and waited for assistance. I followed the U-Haul protocol. I was told by the yard person that someone inside would have to connect the trailer to my vehicle. While waiting, Sam rented MY trailer (the same trailer) to a walk up customer who DID NOT have a reservation. When questioned about it, Sam told me that my reservation did not matter and that he did not plan to do anything about it, that it was my problem, not his. He then displayed an unprofessional attitude when confronted and became hostile, as did I. He was extremely unprofessional and should be reprimanded for poor attitude and poor customer service. Since he rented MY TRAILER to someone else, it caused me to back track 40 miles the opposite direction to get the nearest available trailer, hence the Cleveland location. I did speak with the Broad street facility manager regarding this incident, he sincerely apologized and he stated he would address the matter. This staff of Broad street has always been very helpful and the equipment is always clean. No previous problems have ever occurred there with us. I do not feel this is a direct reflection on U-Haul, which has a great name and reputation and we will (when needed) return to the Broad street facility as it has always been trouble free and the manager does all he can to please the customer. Sam should be GONE, he is not good for business. A business cannot treat customers this way and expect the customer to return.Sam E.
Reservation was for 10 am. Had to wait around for almost 30 minutes while it took two people to help one customer. Wasn't excited about that, but other than that it was not bad. Good customer service once I was assisted.JEREMY KEITH L.
I pulled into the front and they expected me to get back into the truck and drive it around back. I had to explain that I was in a lot of pain and didn't feel that I was capable, at that point, of backing it out and moving it. I was charged for a second day because I was 45 minutes late and they tacked on the insurance charge for a full day as well. These extra charges caused my bank account to be overdrawn.Jeanette M.

Terrible experience. You can show and tell the customer ethically and transparently all the fees and charges included. Instead of charging them an inordinate amount at the end of the trip that wasn't displayed in any advertising or the contract.JOHN K.

Picked vehicle up from this location and had to return as the furniture dolly was not provided as order. Once I finished and returned the vehicle, online service would not locate my location to complete return so I took pics of vehicle returned in the parking lot with the business in the background and time stamped to show return and contacted Uhaul customer service. Waited for 45mins to speak with an agent in which they deferred me back to the location to return, which is closed on Saturday so online check-in is only option. Returned Sunday to explain and owner said it had already been checked in so I would have to pay the extra $20 charge.... Do Not rent from this place! This location just felt so out of the way. I picked it because I was offered a discount to drop off in a larger city, but it wasn't worth my time. I think the one way pricing is astronomical. This truck was the worst ever. Head lights falling out got stoped by cops due to them. No I guys inside the truck so was dark. It was a horrible situation. Couldn't even use it for the second day. Very unhappy and person didn't care where I rented from.TWANA C.

Well, I was overcharged due to checking in just a few minutes late on thanksgiving day. I don't feel it's right. I was cleaning truck out and topping off fuel to save money and you people penalized me by charging a whole nother day. It's not right especially cause it was thanksgiving morning and I had to check it in myself and take each step to return it in proper condition. Why the hell am I being charged more than just the extra twenty miles I went over than agreed upon at signing the contract?John R.

We had a reservation. The man was nice enough to give us the rental, even though he said he was closed. He put us in one that was just returned. It was absolutely filthy. Crumbs on seat, sticky on floor, nothing wiped down! We're in a global pandemic and this is what I'm handed. He didn't go over anything with me, just took the car tow off and walked back inside. I selected Bradley Barter and Pawn because it is close to my home. I made a reservation online which totaled to around $57. I called the morning of pickup and asked if I could swing by a couple hours early. The person I spoke to said that is fine, no problem. I arrived at the location to pick up my reservation and Jason (believe to be the proprietor) was telling me I was early and the trailer was not ready. I explained that I called and the person I spoke to said that was fine - no big deal, but he seemed annoyed that I thought I could arrive early. He asks for my credit card and swipes it - I get an instant notification on my phone saying I've been charged around $128. I immediately ask him about it and he walks me through why. First reason is because I'm picking it up early, second is due to insurance that I didn't select when making the reservation. I'm not sure on protocol here, but I don't know why he didn't tell me the amount about to be charged prior to swiping - that is a pet peeve of mine. The next half hour is spend with him cancelling the charge and waiting for the system to clear. I mentioned to him I would be returning it on Monday morning and there was no "hey we'll be closed that day, so make sure you check the trailer in via the uHaul website". Instead he let me find that out on my own when I received a $21 charge to my card. Terrible experience. I don't leave negative comments in public forums because they often are unreliable and inconsiderate (google, Facebook, etc), but I appreciate having the opportunity to share my experience here. I hope something good can come out of me taking the time to share my experience - I won't be using this location again and I won't recommend it to friends/family.Morgan A.
