Where to start. Back of truck was disgusting, fill with dirt and leaves and garbage. The people there were rude and blocked us in. After being asked to move, the owner of the lot said on English "this is my lot who the fck are you" then immediately in Arabic he said, something like "you're mother is a prostitute and can only give birth do dogs". Not realizing I speak Arabic, I asked him, in Arabic, "what did you just say?" Then, a little louder I yelled "what did you just say to me you (something translating to pond scum)?" At this point the lady, the one that was initially rude from the beginning, came running over screaming at me, and at this point I was beyond the point ofBrian H.

The cots for one way rental was outrageous. Will rent elsewhere or rent round trip due to your outrageous costs. I was also charged for insurance when I specifically did not ask for it.WILLIAM D.

There was some damage to the mirror on the driver's side, but not anything that we could not work with. The man at the desk was a pleasure to work with and made checking out and checking in super easy! I will rent from here again if I ever need a U-Haul in the future.Rachel B.

I requested a dolly and none was provided, the "employee" took 15 minutes to redo everything I had already done online, there was trash left in the back of the uhaul from the previous users(i have the photo). Just a beyond disappointing experience. The driver side seat belt did not properly function. The only positive part of the interaction was at the end when the "employee" was kind enough to offer to back the truck back into the spot for me while I was refilling the tank.Carolynn H.

What can I say about Bricktown Service Uhaul department that hasn't already been said. They are the best place to rent a Uhaul from. The young lady that works there (I didn't get her name, she's around 25 I think) was very efficient and helped me from start to finish. Highly recommended!CHRIS S.

This is fraud I got into an argument with the Gas Attendent when filling up my U-Haul truck at the burnt Tavern location at that point I went inside and looked for a manager Paul Matt someone came outside and decided to talk with a gas pump attendant and cared less about the situation after it was all said and done in the Gas Attendent became confrontational and making threats I'm gonna sit there and defend myself I don't take this respect lightly there's no reason for it I'm a customer and a client I took pictures of the vehicle they said they were going to charge me for damages the truck there is no damages this is fraud I want a full and complete overview of that vehicle from before and after this is absurddaniel O.

The man handed me keys, then literally disappeared! I got in and coukd not move seat up to reach pedals nor could I adjust the mirrors to drive safely! I was frightened the entire time and almost had two collisions! Unacceptable! I want a call from corporate!Marlene S.

The guy that worked there complained that he didn't get there till 10:00 and that that was a problem for people expecting to pick up a truck at 10:00. If you moved any slower we would have had to change his name to snail. He was lackluster, unfriendly and just seemingly like he was doing us a favor. He had no personality whatsoever, not a bad guy but just there with no motivation. Wouldn't go back to that location again as long as that guy worked there.Nancy S.

So the office was great but we discovered the truck had no running lights in th back. None of them were working which meant I had to be followed everywhere I went as to not have an accident. Also, we took pics of the mileage and the gas tank on both departure and arrival. We drove approx 19 miles. We told them prob. 20 give or take. We put in $10 worth of gas and actually left it with more then we took it with. We were charged for both mileage and gas charges. So our $19.95 truck cost us over $100.00 to go 19 miles? There is a problem with this. When I tried to call the office today the message says to enter my remote code. So no voicemail could be left for anyone. I can send the pics if you would like prooving the gas and mileage. I really am not happy that we were put in danger with no lights either!!! If someone could get back to me I would really appreciate it very much!!tracie R.

The van has a bad smell I think it's animal smell. With lots of human and animals hairs on the seats. Uhaul in General is very expensive it's not more affordable. I used a van for 84 miles I paid 143$ + 20$ in gas thats expensive.Bassem B.

Made a reservation days in advance for an afternoon pick up of a 26 ft truck. The location was 10 mins from my house. I selected the 24 hour pick up which puts the keys in a lockbox which are obtained thru the U-Haul app (I have used this before) I go to the location, truck is there, the app says the â€œEquipment is not availableâ€ and the station was closed. No truck for me. After over 30 +mins on the phone and a 1/2 hr drive I got a second truck. It wasted an hour of moving labor time and cost me money.Peter G.
I had a situation during the keys pick up. I made a self check out and I my keys supposed to be in the box number 2, so I put the code, I grabbed the key and once I tried to turn engine on, the key didn't fit. Yes, it was the wrong key in my box. I had no assistance on the phone, or even on-premises. I had an idea, I came back to the boxes and tried to open another one with the same code, and guess what? It worked. I got another, and the truck turned on. Not a good experience. Also, I request a one-way truck, 24 hours before, you guys called me saying that I had to delivery in the same location I picked up. I spent double what I supposed to.Renan B.

UHaul representative added in the insurance coverage after I specifically said I didn't want it. When I asked about the difference in price between what was quoted online and what I had to pay he said it was â€œtaxes and feesâ€. Never gave me a receipt because he said it would be emailed to me, but it never was.John M.
Most of what I have to say refers to the U-Haul traffic department. I ordered a 26 foot truck almost 3 weeks ago. Didn't hear from traffic department until last Monday that only had a 20 footer available on Rte 37 in Toms River. Then on Thursday I was told I had to go to Brick, NJ to get my truck. Very inconvenient and time consuming, Plus, when I got to the Burnt Tavern road location I had to wait 20 minutes to get my truck. Then I was told it only had a 1/4 tank of gas. Since the location is a gas station, I suppose they want you to fill up there. I think that is a bush league move and should NOT be allowed by U-Haul.Paul V.
