Owner was rude. When I was having issues with the link he sent my phone he says â€œlet a real man do itâ€. Then the TOTAL charge for the u haul for 2 days totaled up to be over $300!?!? NEVER in my life has my family experienced such a price gouge. Will NEVER go back.Eric T.

The man only told us to give him the keys and said goodbye. He was not mean but not friendly. He said goodbye. Wasn't sure if we should have had paperwork showing we returned the truck with the proper gas and condition. So we left because he walked off. I have been praying that we aren't charged for anything extra...not sure if I would recommend this location to othersGreg F.

I used 15 feet uhaul for moving. Total traveled distance 8+8=16 miles and time upto return, less than 4 h. I fill the gas tank with 3.2gallons of gas and thereafter they charged me $64. 45. When I booked they said $29.95. So appears to me a big cheat. NEVER going to use uhaul for moving. Very disappointing.Satya P.

This was not my preferred drop off location I chose another location 15 minutes from my home this location is 25 minutes from my home. A staff from this location called me Wednesday November 30th at 6:30pm & told me I'm supposed to drop truck off at his location as of 6:00 tonight & threatened to charge me wrong location fee if I brought truck to another location. I explained to staff that truck was not due back until December 1st at 09:00 am & my preferred location is 10000 Bluegrass PKWY he offered me $50 credit if I brought equipment to his location. Brought truck to 535 E Broadway December 1st at 09:00 staff was late to open business I left after waiting 20 minutes . I did not receive the $50 credit I was instead charged $45 for 43 extra miles used. I called customer service several times staff is not really helpful.Alicia B.

The manager forgot to put our key in the place it needed to be for mobile pickup, so we had to reschedule our pickup for 8:00 at the location. But when we got there at 8:00, he wasn't there. We called the number on the door, which was his. He was still at home and we told him we needed the truck so he begrudgingly said he would drive over to the location to give us the key. We called him again 25 minutes later and he yelled at my wife over the phone and told us that he was canceling our reservation (without our permission), then he hung up on her. I had to miss an hour of work and then get customer service to solve the problem while I was at work. Overall it was a horrible experience and the store manager was vitriolic toward my wife when she went to pick up the key at a later time. I would never recommend this location to anyone. The only kind person in the whole experience was the customer service worker who helped us get the key. The manager should be fired or demoted.Tate B.

I recommend this location but DON'T RECOMMEND UHAUL AS A COMPANY!!!! Our last rental truck was a piece of junk that had to be towed and uhaul got the truck before they took care of real live people! Stranded for over 30 hours with no food and over 34 hours without my medication for diabetes or high blood pressure because they towed our return trip truck and closed our file without taking care of real people! Definitely do NOT recommend Uhaul as a company!!!! This location was great though! He took care of us perfectly this time!Margaret S.

Made the reservations 2 months advance and called the day before pick up to confirm my reservations. Upon arriving the dolly towing wasn't there. Was told to call back within 30 mins that one might be available at the location. Called back, but still no dolly towing, had me call a different location. The second location was further out and told us it was available but at that time our movers arrived for the move. By the time we finished with the move and able to arrive to the second, which was at 7:04 pm the employee told us that they were closed and had to come back the next day at 7am. So it delayed our move a whole day and we didn't get the dolly towing until 830 am. Overall terrible experience. Improve by letting the customers know ahead of time if something isn't available in order to plan accordingly.Catherine D.
The rental guy is completely unprofessional and fraudulent. He was not there during business hours when I returned the uhaul. I called him and he told me to just leave it and the dolly in it and drop the key in the dropbox. He is now claiming the dolly wasn't in it when he finally got there the next day. I have a witness with me who can testify I returned the dolly and the truck to that location within the 24 hour window. If the dlooy was stolen out of the truck that is his fault for not being there. He charged my card 150 for the dolly as well as 2 days of rental when I returned it within the 24 hour window. I want an immediate refund since I did return the dolly and he is the one that was negligent by not showing up till the next day. I will be reporting him to the BBB, he should not be allowed to own a business since he is so dishonest. When I reached out to Uhaul they were of no help.Lisa L.
Very sketchy location. It was not named Broadway Storage. Nobody was there at the time of my reservation and nobody answered the phone. An hour after my reservation i finally got a call returned while on hold with corporate Uhaul. I returned to the location, was told my truck had not arrived, hesitantly told I could have a slightly larger one for the same price. Then halfway through fulfilling that request a customer returned a truck that was the size I initially reserved, so the employee said that despite him having already started filling out paperwork for the bigger truck and despite it being an hour past my reservation time he couldn't give me the upgrade. He proceeded to try and insinuate I didn't need the highest level of insurance I had chosen. Eventually I accepted it and he gave me the newly returned truck without checking it in any way other than mileage. Upon my own inspection the pictures Uhaul had me approve were taken at a completely different location and were of a different truck that didnt show the huge gash this one had on the side. I made a reservation on Friday and was immediately called back by some guy to "confirm" my reservation. He told me that I was getting a discount and my TOTAL price would be about $331. Sunday morning I went to get my truck and tow dolly and they guy looked at me like I had antlers growing out of my head, and said he had no reservation from me. He did rent me a truck for about $50 more than my quoted total and sent me to another location to get a tow dolly. When I got to the 2nd location I spent over an hour there because they had no idea why I was there despite the 1st guy calling to make sure they had a tow dolly and was charged another $75 for the dolly. Total charges were about $450 And all to get pissed off for wasting 2.5 hours to get the stuff. BOOOO on You !!!!Dana M.

We had a scheduled pick up time of 4:45PM and we arrived at 4:40PM with no one being at the office. The employees left before closing time and no one could assist us in person. Then I tried accessing the truck I rented, but it kept showing me on the website that my session expired. I called the customer service line and the anticipated wait was 30-40 minutes. Then, we finally reached customer support through the phone and they told us they can only give us the 26' truck at that location instead of the 15' we originally reserved. This was the only day we could accommodate moving, so we had no other choice than to go with the 26' truck which was terrifying to drive. It was dirty, super loud, and shaking so much that I was surprised it didn't fall apart through our trip. At the check-out process we got charged an extra $25 for cleaning, which was not stated at the initial price offer. Terrible experience.Daniel S.
