I went to the location to where I was supposed to pick up the truck, they were closed . I waited 45 minutes for someone to bring me a key. I was charged 137.00 She told me that there was a 100 dollar deposit, I told her I only needed the truck for a couple of hours she told me not to bring it back early because ther was a friendly tax charge if I brought the truck back early. When I went to get in the truck I walked around to make sure that everything was secure and there was a person in the back, I asked him to please get out. None of the equipment I had requested was in the truck and the truck was completely empty of gas, I had to put gas in it right away. When I called customer service about this experience the young lady tried to tell me that I was not charged and that it was only a hold fee. I can show not only one but four different times the uhaul on Broadway tried to deduct money from my account. Moving is stressful enough, especially when you are completely alone in the world and I had hoped uhaul was going to a helpful part of this already stressful experience, I never imagined you would cause me such financial issues. I live on a fixed income I have nothing for the next three weeks because uhaul won't refund me the deposit that I wasn't told about when I made the reservation. I have rented trucks from uhaul many times over the years and I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and disrespect before. I won't be using or recommending uhaul to anyone again. This is the first time I have ever left negative feedback to anyone but I just had to make sure that someone knew . Thank you for your time and may God Bless you

The back had not been swept out. Inside the cab there was sticky residue in the bottom of the drink holders & an empty can. The daily "Smart Move" insurance was 2x higher than another location I had checked out ($30 vs $15).

Rented vehicle online. Called to make sure vehicle will be on-site for rental date. No answer but manager called back quickly and assured me. Picked up at rental time. Desk person real friendly and helpful. Returned before closing but door was locked. Put key in drop-off box. Received invoice by email next day for the correct amount. Very easy to deal with. I will use next time if needed.

Be open when it’s supposed to be open! I was switched to this location because my original reserved location did not have the truck. My pickup time was 9am the location was supposed to open at 8am. Nobody showed up until 10:30am which put me and others severely behind schedule. I tried to do a pickup on the app but the keys were inside and not available! I should be compensated for my time as I would have been charged for hours if I was late.

The vehicle I had reserved wasn't there and the smaller van I was given was in terrible shape. There was trash in the cab, the back door wouldn't open, you could hear the brakes and about ever warning light was on the dash.

I called the location to confirm they would have someone there soon. This was after my appointment time. The location is very convenient, and I understand they are just a dealer. However, it was truly disorganized in the way the location was handled. The JH trucks are across the street, and you have to walk over to pick up the equipment yourself. If this were an after-hours pick-up, I am not sure how someone would know where the truck is located I Know that this will also be seen by the dealer due to the fact that I too was a dealer in Tennessee

This location was horrible, I had a reservation and he couldn’t find me in the system at all. I had to walk across the street to get my own truck. The truck had lease than a quarter of gas in it. There was weed roaches all in the back of the truck along with so clothing items. Very unprofessional, I don’t recommend this location at all.

I originally specified a different location for pick up and drop off - not only because the area of town is not safe at night, but also because the staff there is extremely unhelpful. I initially set my pick up to be in person, with the help of staff member. Upon my arrival at 4:30 the doors were locked so I called the store. A man answered and said his employee is taking her lunch and that I should just complete the pick up through my phone - which I expressly did NOT select. He was rude to me the whole phone call and neglected to explain the security deposit, while also trying to upsell me. Through my reservation, I also selected an appliance dolly for $15, which was not in the van. When I called, he told me I did not reserve one and after some arguing he reluctantly refunded me the $15. This location is awful, the staff is unhelpful and never on site. I will never recommend this location to anyone.
