The facility That I picked the trailer up and very helpful. Other than that our experience trying to rent a trailer was terrible. The first facility didn't give a straight answer to anything and told me the day before we were to leave on a extended trip that a trailer was not available. I had to go 80 miles out of my way to get a trailer after I was promised one at the original location. At this point I most likely will never rent again nor recommend U-Haul. Our original pickup location was 35 miles away. Our reserved U-haul wasn't even on that lot, no notice, no email, no nothing. I was given a sticky note with a phone number to call, they suggested I complain that my unit wasn't available, though it had been reserved weeks in advance. WHY IS IT UP TO THE CUSTOMER TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE? That simply should not be your procedure. Charged more than quoted at the redirected location. Upon pickup the mobile checkin was not smooth. Uploaded pictures three times, for each side of our unit, kept freezing up and erroring out, and NO it was not my signal or my new phone. It occurred so much that I ran out of "my time limit" to properly check in.Jon R.
