BTA was fabulous uhaul web site is misleading and not creditable nor do they stand by their customers on the movers they represent on their web site . Under other products movers are listed With prices which I'm told by uhaul tbey have nothing to do with it's just advertising ! The marketplace movers.com advertises for the movers you pay movers.com and they take no responsibility but paid up front ! They are not insured or licensed they sent a psychophrenic on medication heavily sedated per one of the other movers plus a man wearing pants with Bankrupt Across his crotch and was late one hour. Left 5 inch dent in refrig broke 3 legs off two different antique hutches and scraped the entire finish off bottom of bar. I ended up moving and unloading They had not one clue on how to pack truck or storage . I had to get another storage rent the truck for two more days move my self with terrible knee complications total cost ended over 2100.00 for all xtra truck storage and repairs You can't reach the moving company and not ONE PERSON WHO PROMOTES MIVERD ON THEIR SITE NO THE COMPANY THAT TAKES MONEY UP FRONT MIND YOU ! They leave you Face down in the mud by the pepole they promote ! Uhaul Will not even let me submit a claim .. The BBB AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED WITH ALL RECEIPTS AND PICTURES . Original reservation was canceled at 10:35 pm the night before. Luckily an agent was able to find a solution.CECE R.
Don't wait until the customer returns the truck to tell them there is an additional $30 charge, on top of the $6 per gallon charge, to put 3 gallons of gas in the truck since it was returned below 1/4 of a tank. The truck was given to me with 1/4 of a tank of gas and they told me I would be charged $6 a gallon if I didn't fill it up on return. Since I only used 3 gallons of gas and since gas was already close to $5 at the pump I decided to let them refill it for the extra $3 bucks. I was then told there was the extra fee since you aren't supposed to run the trucks with a gas tank below 1/4 full. The truck was given to me with 1/4 tank of gas so I was going to be below that amount as soon As I stated driving it off the lot?!?!? I was pretty frustrated and felt taken advantage of.Shane P.

BTA Self Storage Rockwall was EXCELLENT IN ALL WAYS The original dealer that I was scheduled to pick up at, UHAUL NEIGHBORHOD DEALER WAS UNBELIEVABLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!. First, they texted me at midnight the night before I was scheduled to pick up my trailer (at 8AM-been scheduled for over a month) and wanted me to change my schedule. I texted them the next morning and said OK, I will change my schedule to accommodate them. Then, he said that won't work. I'll just have to load up the equipment and do various other things by myself. I told him I have never used that kind of trailer before that I need help. He told me to UTube it . I told him my computer is packed, I don't have the time to figure out which utube video I should watch that I need help. He said, (and I quote) " You only think about yourself". And refused to help me. I ended up calling UHaul corp. They helped me tremendously and rescheduled me for a nearby pickup place (BTA) who also helped me tremendously! I give them the LOWEST RATING POSSIBLE, AND IT IS STILL TOO GOOD. I WILL NEVER EVER CONSIDER USING THEM AGAIN AND WOULD ADVISE ANYONE ELSE AGAINST IT.Lance C.

BTA self storage was fine but I am extremely disappointed in the service we received from Uhaul the day of our truck return. We did not have a reserved return location but had to put some furniture in a storage facility that also rents Uhaul trucks. We called to find out if we could return our trucks after hours at this facility and were put on hold and/or transferred to alternate customer service reps several times and had to wait one hour to finally reach someone through the chat line who told us the nearest facility that did after hours returns, BTA Storage was 30 miles away. Once we got there we were unable to do an online return as the system was down. Bottom line is we are extremely disappointed with the lack of support from Uhaul on the return process.Chris P.

I needed a truck to go pick up furniture for a round trip of about 90 miles. I requested a truck they had on the lot that I noticed in their line that was clean and the size 15ft needed. When all the paperwork was completed the sales person walked me out to the dirtiest truck on the lot and told me this was all she had available. she went on to explain that the truck had 3/4 tank of fuel in it and they did not have time to go top it off for the next rental so please bring it back with same amount of fuel (Common Sense). Returning the truck there is a gas station only 1 mile from the location rented and I refilled the truck until it would not allow any fuel due to gas pump shutting off at pump handle several times. Once I got back in the truck the gauge topped out at 3/4 full, seemed weird since it would not allow me to put anymore fuel in it while filling. This made sense that the previous renter returned with 3/4 full now. Actually the truck was completely full but the gauge only registered 3/4. Upon receiving my final invoice and knowing I drove less miles than anticipating and charged for I was charged for 6 additional gallons of gas ($24.95) and a credit card fee of $24.00 that was not explained when rented. So, that almost $50.00 additional dollars than advertised in their rates of $29.95 per day, .79 per mile. I have always done business at this location for over 5 years from renting storage units exceeding $400.00 monthly for 2 years, and renting U-Hauls 5 different times from this same business. I was disappointed when i called to discuss and was told that I had to call Uhaul for anything regarding invoicing and they had nothing to do with the truck rental services.JOHN B.
I apologize for the email. I do not normally send bad reviews. I was early for my truck pick up at 7am. It took over 3 hours before I was able to get it. The APP did not work. Customer service took over 2 1/2 hours to reach. My hired moving help had to wait. The whole issue put me back 3 hours. I was supposed to receive a $50.00 credit, however that is not sufficient. Property is well kept and amazing. Every person we worked with on staff was helpful, accommodating and kind. My only feedback is that it was disappointing to not get a monthly invoice or receipt of payment stub. I got the first 3 months and got the move out last invoice yesterday, so I know it wasn't my email rejecting. I did call a few times asking for this to be fixed but it never seemed to happen. I would find out from my CC statement of the every 5-6mth price increase. That was frustrating. I would 100% recommend your facility but I would be sure to caveat with the expectation of what you are originally quoted will continue to climb the longer you are there. From a marketing and retention/attrition perspective I'd of though it would have been reverse. Incentivize people to stay for the duration of there need. I'm sure you'll have to take that into consideration as more competition comes in. But again, your team was nice and the facility was clean so I appreciated the quality!
