We made a reservation for a 20’ truck. The morning of the reservation ( an hour before pick up time) we were told they don’t have a 20’ truck and that the only option we had was a 15’ truck the next day. We took it because we didn’t have any other choice. They also informed us that we would have to travel to a different location because they also didn’t have our car transport available there. Again. AFTER we made the reservation. We picked up the truck and trailer and the trailer was broken. It was missing a peg to keep the tracks from falling down while driving. We had to fix it ourselves with a bolt because they didn’t have another option. We lost an entire day and had to use a much smaller truck. Because of this we had to leave many large furniture items behind!! We can’t return to get them again and we refuse to rent another U-Haul. We were lucky we made it to our destination without the trailer breaking even more. Additionally, when we returned the truck and trailer the people were very nice. However, I received a call from a very upset and rude lady the next day saying they didn’t have our rentals. I pulled up my receipt and once I told her my confirmation information, she backed off. Overall, U-Haul was a terrible experience for us. We lost a day of packing, hundreds of dollars worth of furniture, and had to deal with rude people. 0/10 experience. The people at the locations were fine. But the company itself is extremely unorganized.

I had to call and have somone come to the office so that I could get my rental and when she showed up, she was upset that she had to do h er job! She gave me the worst condition trailer on the lot and the trailer was parked on a incline so I needed help to get it picked up off the ground so I could hook it up. I asked her for help and she said no, that they were a pickup and drop off only for u haul. Worst service ever!
April WOn the self check in via u haul app, it has many steps. The one thing that is missing is that there is no comment section. It would be nice to add notes to it. Example, the box area was dirty when we got it and I swept it out when returning it. Brakes worked but extremely noisy .

William AI don't know whether it was the problem with the app that day or whether the connectivity is bad there, but it took me an hour and a half to get my truck picked up, most of that on the phone with a representative,and that is simply not acceptable.
