When I arrived the manager was asleep had to bang on the door to get him to wake up he knew I was coming at 7:00am. He also said he’d have the truck pulled out front ready to go. It was blocked in by two other trucks when I got there, and had a little over half a tank of gas so I had to fill that up as well, so I was 40 minutes late for my appointment. I’m not impressed.

I made a reservation multiple weeks before my trip to a location that was near where I needed it. This location was changed when I had to pick up to 45 minutes one way and when I arrived there was no one there. I had to wait more than was necessary and complete the transaction over the phone. Between the hour and a half round trip and waiting for someone to help me delayed my trip by 2 hours. The auto transport that I rented was thrown in there haphazardly, none of the safety chains were secured, none of the straps were secured. This experience was unacceptable and I am strongly considering never using U-Haul again.
