I was under the impression that I would only pay $19.99 for the daily local rate. There was not a small truck there and I asked if I would still get the lesser rate. There was some confusion with my cc, I forgot which zip code was associated with my account. Then the rest of the transaction was rushed due to other customers and my need to get to another appt. I will have to pay closer attention.

So the location and the guy running the place were wonderful. The U-Haul itself was a piece of junk!!!! I had to jump start it 4 times. I made sure no lights were staying on and the battery kept dying. Also terrible vibration and slack in the steering wheel. That U-Haul is a death trap and I pray U-Haul won’t let anyone rent it until it’s fixed. I was able to get moved but it took a day longer due to poor equipment. I was paying movers to help me and had to pay for 4 additional hours which was $600. This was 100% due to poor equipment. U-Haul should refund my money completely but I know that won’t happen. I’ve used U-Haul dozens of time for personal a work, this will be the last time due to the terrible truck. The place I picked it up at was great, place I dropped it off t was good, equipment itself piece of junk.

This place was good. However the first place I tried to pick rent a truck from was awful. I made a reservation online and when I went to pick it up I went into to the website to claim my truck it said that the truck was not assigned to me. Uhaul gave me a number to call for the problem but it was disconnected. I had to drive to the next town over to get a uhaul which was extremely inconvenient. I was very disappointed with the service at the first location(8335 Tennessee Ave. Gulfport Ms). I am also a bit upset that even after that I was still charged full price for a uhaul even after the blunder on uhaul’s part.

My Uhal was leaking water, and my "brand new bed" got ruined!
