I had booked a dolly and it was not in the truck when we arrived. The representative said another customer had booked it. What makes their booking more important than mine? Your booking system should match your inventory. We had to drive to another uhaul location and wait around to get a dolly. The truck was also not in good condition, we had about 6 hours of driving and hot air from the motor was blowing with such crippling intensity from the passenger side that we literally became ill.Amir Mohammad A.
I had an accident and went to collision reporting centre and they asked for the ownership and the insurance document. when I was looking for the owner book and the insurance, they don't have any inside the glove box. Because of that I couldn't get a coalition report number. Simplify the mobile check in/pick up so that the individual settings of the mobile device do not have to be changed. The vehicles are driving really terribly and don't have even the minimum convenience features such as air conditioning or - more importantly - safety features like connectivity to a cellphone. The truck was dirty. Lots of dried mud in the passenger unit from a previous customer that had not been cleaned. The storage part of the truck also had not been cleaned. No loading dollies or packing blankets were provided, both of which would have been useful.S L.

This was a bad experience. Super sketchy pick up location, 4 of 6 furniture pads were soaked, the bumper was dented and the representative just said don't worry about it.IANROBERT D.

Not given any paperwork, truck was on empty, had to buy gas asap, then charged $50 for gas when truck was returned! Said repeatedly that I was not prepared to drive an hour farther north to return truck, and was not certain of being able to get a ride back to London, yet drop off was still set as Owen Sound! The shop keeper is lies, I made reservations online I did not select safe move , when he started to enter my license he selected safe move and without giving me receipt he ask me we have stop printing receipts. Therefore I couldn't find out what he has made changes to my booking . I believe this type of cheating dont suites your type of company. I hope some action must be taken this location . I was suprised to see that this location only had 3 stars given that it is merely a convenience store. However after struggling with the UHaul app, we decided to go inside and see if they could help. They were fantastic. Very friendly, quick with solutions and had on our way both at pick-up and drop-off. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone who needs the trucks that they can supply. their one drawback might be space, but even here they seem to have enough for even the medium sized trucks.James J.
Please do not give less than a full tank of gas because it's impossible to figure it out to bring it to the odd levels. It's almost a scam. Another one is retrofit all your vehicles with back up Cameras it's not expensive and it will enhance safety multifoldRakesh B.

Terrible customer service. Bad communication. Lazy employees. Will never use this location again for U-haul. The employee working at pick up was better than the employee working at drop off. The drop off employee was not friendly at all and very rude to us. Both employees seemed distracted and disinterested in the U-haul side of the business. I would probably avoid U-haul altogether after this experience. Running a U-haul business out of a convenient store is probably not a good idea.Daniel M.

The first gentleman who I dealt with when picking up the vehicle was very kind and helpful and made the process go very smoothly. The vehicle was clean. The following is to file a formal complaint about your services. My drop-off location was indicated on my contract as 107 mount pleasant London. To my biggest surprise when I got there I was told that location was not certified for any returns. I was then told to return it to the location from which I picked it up (1100 commissioners rd E London). When I got there I found it closed on Sunday's. So I called customer services who informed me that I had to drop it off at the Colborne location. Once I got there I was charged for extra mileage. This is absolutely absurd!!!! Not only did the pick up procedure take over 40 minutes for them to figure out the process but in top of it I was given wrong information, made to drive around the city, trying to make it on time for 6pm but on top of it I was charged fir mileage. This has been an awful experience to put it mildly and for this reason I'm request a full refund.MICHAEL E.

I booked my U-Haul to be picked up from Springbank Drive and when I got there it was rented out to someone else. Then I was told to go to Colborne street to get another one. This location was much further away from my preferred pickup point. So I a nut shell I had to face alot of problems to get a truck i.e. loss of precious time and extra cost. I'm not sure if my issue is with the location itself or uhaul in general. When I scheduled my vehicle I booked it for 8 hours. I was supposed to pick it up at 8am using the mobile check in. I arranged for a ride to the location for that time. Also I arranged for people to help me at 9am. When I got to the location for pickup I tried to login and got a message that my vehicle was not available for that type of check in and I would have to wait till 930. This cut my moving time down by an hour, my ride had to take me back to the location and I had to rearrange my help that I had booked. Once I was able to pickup the truck was covered in ice and I was made to scrape it off which ate into my already shortened time. Overall not a good start to a very busy day. I found the store owner to be less than helpful almost like I was an inconvenience for making him do more work. Overall a bad experience.Brad N.

Winshield washer fluid was completely dry. This can be a serious safety issue in the winter time. There was a plastic fork in the cab. The pickup location did not have the furniture pads that I had ordered and the Uhaul app did not work at all for picking up the truck. I also attempted to use the website to pickup the vehicle and it also did not work, even with the assistance of customer service and live chat.Steven K.

Agent is convenience store not knowledgeable about rental business. Advised vehicle needed wiper blade. Did not seem concerned. Generally I find that I get a ental truck once or twice a year. Uhaul agents arre not very knowledgeable or helpful. Only use because it is only choice for one way rental. Cost is expensive.BILL S.
