The store where I got, my equipment was fine. Recommend it and the manager there. However, I went to pick up the truck that I really rented at the original location and nothing was available and no one called me to tell me or to set up a better plan. I do all this independently on my own through customer service and navigate them to get me something that was acceptable. On top of all that, I got charged a late fee for bringing it back after 5 PM which only occurred because I couldn’t pick up the initial truck at the appropriate time. certainly, I wouldn’t use U-Haul again.

Enrique RThe large truck I reserved had a broken right rearview mirror. My Husband (a retired Police Officer) said it was dangerous to drive the truck in that condition. When we requested another truck of the same size we were told there wasn't another one. We were also told UHAUL had been called 2 weeks before about the broken mirror and hadn't come to fix it. We were offered a smaller truck. This created a problem because I had planned to move everything from a storage unit in one trip. I would have just canceled the rental, but my son had taken a day off work to help with the move. Because of that I accepted the smaller truck, but we were only able to move boxes and smaller items. We had to leave most of the heavy furniture behind because it wouldn't fit in the smaller truck and also there was no loading ramp, like the one on the larger truck, to help load anything. Even though we had brought our own hand truck to move things from the storage unit to the rental truck everything had to be lifted up by hand into the truck. And then down by hand when the truck was unloaded. I will now need to rent a large truck on another day just to move my furniture. My suggestion for improvement is to make repairs in a timely manner so people who rent from UHAUL are not extremely inconvenienced by faulty equipment. The only reason I said yes to recommending this location is because the personnel were polite and professional and UHAUL equipment is not the only thing they rent.

ADRAIN MI was told to drop off at any location and I dropped off after hours. Uhaul said 2 weeks later the vehicle wasn't turned in... then billed me for extra milage that wasn't all mine.... and sent me an email saying truck wasn't turned in which was scary feeling... thinking I might have to pay for a lost or stolen truck
TIMOTHY ONot the locations fault, but didn’t have the right size truck or the dolly. Found out 1 days before my move, which made things much harder to move.
RYAN AEquipment was damaged (previous tire blowout damaged wheel fender) and unusable, lug nut was missing, tire flat, and axles caked in mud. Agents helped remedy issues and make roadworthy in a very timely manner.

And called the u haul customer service and found out, it wasn’t a deposit and called back to you guys and say, depends on your bank card🤦🏾♀️. And sounding unsure and wasn’t helpful at all. I recommend not to rent from this u haul again. Just be honest and tell the truth
