Well... I had initially requested this rental to be picked up at the Lakeville, MN location. When confirming on the phone I was told I had to go to Cannon Falls. This was a 30 minute drive. The funny things was as I drove by the Lakeville facility, on my way to Cannon Falls, there were 3 trailers sitting in the lot. Super frustrating....Gregg G.

Fill the tank up with gas to where it was when you initially rented it because you're going to get charged twice amount per gallon to put it back up to the starting mark if you don't.David P.

Overcharged for mileage. I was forced to pick up the truck an hour and a half away. Even though I reserved a truck weeks prior at a closer location that was supposed to be guaranteed. I was promised more mileage for compensation, but didn't receive it. Poor service.Jeffrey K.

Man at the service desk (I think name was Andy?) was unbelievably rude and it was easy to see he could care less about his job or the customers. Uhaul smelled VERY strongly of marijuana, when this was mentioned to him the reply was, "Whaddya want me to do about it?! I didnt have anything to do with it!. Air it out." in a very condescending manner. Other basic questions we asked were met with either condescending tones or mixed with expletives. I am not one to leave bad reviews but I dont think I have ever experienced customer service that left me taken aback by blatant rudeness and complete lack of care. Not uhauls fault though!Britney T.

There was oil spilled in trailer that I had rented to move all of my belongings and everything that touched the floor had oil on it. I did not appreciate that the address that had been sent to me took me to a field instead of the actual pick up location. There was also an issue with the credit card processing. I gave my credit card information when I made the reservation and the employee had said they didn't have it and had charged the persons card that picked the trailer up, and they had said they were unable to switch the cards and processed the payment before I returned the trailer.Madison K.

when we opened the back it smelled like a barn or animals inside. I sprayed lots of air freshener in it when i got home and that seemed to help. there was no other trailer to take and i had to take this one to meet my time table. when i dropped it off, it was better.Richard R.

This experience was awful, taking well over an hour to secure the rental, with them in the phone with U-Haul the entire time, and U-Haul only finally doing something definitive when I became frustrated. Being called â€œantsyâ€ was not appreciated.Christopher H.

The lights on the tow dolly didn't work, but they were able to fix that. They forgot to put a nut on the tow ball, so we ended up driving from Minnesota to Oregon with the tow dolly not all the way secured. Luckily, we didn't lose the car or worse.Diana M.

Cannon Falls personnel were professional and helpful. My review is related to Uhaul's overall service. I am rarely disappointed with service. I'm easy-going and flexible, but I will avoid Uhaul in the future. My truck was 40+ miles from my preferred location, and that appears to be common with Uhaul. I was disappointed with Uhaul's customer service line- there was no attempt to actually help me.Eric M.

No trailers available in Rochester, Minnesota so was forced to rent this one in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Since it is a hardware store, and they close at 4p on Sunday, no one was there to check me in and I had to drop it unattended. Because they couldn't check me in, they charged me for a "third rental period" even though I only rented it for two days. So--had to drive 90 extra minutes for the privilege of getting nailed for a third day on a two-day rental.Noel S.
I'm not sure the gas tank was full although the needle was a "F". If it was full, then the truck got about 8 mpg which seems low. We did not have a heavy load.Anthony B.

The pick up and drop off service was ok but the first trailer I rented stranded me on the side of the road because the brake locked up. The second truck I returned with more gas than I when I picked up and uhaul still charged me $35 extra for gas. I am very unsatisfied with the customer service from the phone office. And the long hold times while stranded were rediculous also. I would not recommend uhaul to anybody.Jeff S.
