FREDERICK CI did book from 2 pm and it was confirmed reservation but i got at 4:30 pm and after that when i went to drop the vehicle i specially confirmed like can i drop here should not be any charges represerative mention no there would not be any charges but they deduct 390 extra from account just for 10 miles , need it back very poor not happy at all
Jaskirat KNot have used ashtrays in the truck...make the small repairs (replace door seal..adjust roll up door so it closes properly) Customers should not have to deal with ashtray stink..air flow through the door or fighting to clothes a door...especially 1 way moves.

Harsimranjit SMy poor rating has to do with my experience with your customer service person. I booked my UHaul rental about 5 weeks in advance. A few days before I was going to pick it up, I got a call telling me I had to pick my my truck a 2 hour drive from where I had booked it - so a 4-hour drive in order to get and return the truck that I had booked 5 weeks in advance. The customer service person was not helpful and offered me no viable solution and eventually hung up, saying that the conversation was going no where. I called back 10 mins later, and got another customer service person, who in 5 mins, was able to find me the same UHaul truck that I had booked. So it was a very stressful experience.

florence wMy rental was scheduled for pickup at 7:00 a.m. Via Mobile pick up. When I arrived and began my check-in, the location had not set up for mobile pickup and as a result I had to pick up the vehicle in person at the desk. While the location attempted to rectify the situation, it's still put Me 2 hours behind which meant that I missed an important engagement and added, what I would aptly describe as a large amount of stress and complication to what should have been an easy day. I rent a fair bit with U-Haul and based on not only the level of problem during the pickup process but also in trying to book the rental in the first damn place, I have to seriously evaluate whether or not I will be renting with U-Haul in the future.

Vishwa AI was extremely stressed out when I returned the vehicle. Went to push button to turn off dome light and the whole mechanism fell inside. Had to call 1800 numbe. Didnt receive any follow up or an apology

DAVID PWon't recommend and wanted to give a lower review I didn't want to rent uhaul again but needed to in a pinch. I rented a uhaul from halifax bayers lake in March 2021 and had to pay a $50 deposit that was for a cart thing and was told upon returning the truck I would get it back. I was never given my deposit back. And will bad mouth u haul until it's given to me

ROBERT EGet rid of that mobile app scenario. That took about an hour and especially for those unfamiliar with that process they would be unlikely to repeat it. I needed my son there to figure it out.

Jeff CUsing the truck share 24/7 was terrible. The truck I wanted wasnt there. I requeated a dolly, and it wasnt given to me, and I was supposed to pick up the truck at 830am..through various live support messages I actually got the truck 90 mins later. Terrible experience.

anmol sThis was our second location that we were forced to go to because my original reservation, at the Prince street location here in Sydney, did not have our truck. Told us we were shit out of luck unless we could wait till tomorrow, he didn’t give to Shits ahis attitude was alarming. We walked out after he told us to try another location. Luckily we found your Grand Lake Road place and all worked out well. How ever we were out behind by an hour and we’re having load moving help stand around for an hour that cost us $200!!! Probably won’t use U-Haul again.

Erica AIf you need to rent a U-Haul in the Sydney, Nova Scotia area, do not hesitate to go to the Cape Breton Flooring outlet. After trying to acquire a rental truck at various U-Haul locations in Sydney, we were fortunate enough to go to Cape Breton Flooring where we received excellent customer service! Ray and Robert worked very hard to secure a rental truck for us. Then Ray and Maggie went out of their way, on a holiday weekend in May, when the outlet was normally closed, so we could pick up the (spotless) truck. Francis GI originally booked the uhaul at Broadway Convenience Ltd Sydney NS. The uhaul was not there and the employee was completely not helpful in anyway. I was in a real bind as that was moving day. I drove by the Cape Breton Flooring location and the staff there were very helpful and got us setup and on the way quickly. They truly saved the day.
