I rented a 6 x 12 trailer in May of 2026 for $462.00 including insurance. My husband rented same size trailer in September for $400.00 more. Why would this price almost double in 4 months. Man at Carmi Motel who I went to question this price increase was rude and not helpful. I called the 800 number and that lady was just as rude. Said she did not care if we ever rented from them again. Terrible customer service. Will NEVER use U Haul again and will tell others not to either.

James LThere needs to be a way to rate the overall experience. While the pick up location itself was great, the fact that I had to go to that location was a complete and total failure on the part of U-Haul. I reserved a trailer that was 5 minutes from my location. I was called the day before and told not only was it not available at that location, but it wasn't available in that city. The pickup location was an hour EACH WAY from where I was supposed to pick up. The $50 discount was a nice gesture, but that doesn't compensate for the 2 hours I'll never get back.
JASON AI absolutely love going into this uhaul location because they are the sweetest people to deal with! Customer service is amazing. I feel like a friend of theirs now after having to frequently use it in the past month. It is quite lovely, honestly.
JENNIFER WI live in Eldorado, IL. I picked a uhaul up in Carmi, IL. It was the only one I could find in my area. I don't like the fact that I couldn't drop the uhaul off in Eldorado without paying even more than I already did. Prices are to high, but I had no choice.
Charity KIf everything goes as good for others as it did for me, I really can't see anything else that can/could be done.
