Janice DBoth people I spoke to were professional and very personable. They helped immediately when the first vehicle would not start and got me in another vehicle so I could be on my way. I returned it early and they were right there to get me on my way so I could continue my day quickly.
ATHENA MI rented a 10' truck in Feb 2024. Awesome customer service. The shop seems like it's seen a lot and smells like gasoline, but I think this is typical for the industry. Best part was the friendly, professional staff. As a person of color, going into a business like this, in this part of town can make one a little nervous, but I had no issues.
Lori SNeeded a medium duty truck to move house hold goods from Virginia to Florida. 20 ft turck ran well. Gas engine got 13 mpg and ran well. In terms of comfort, this vehicle was bare-bones. Hand roll up windows, no bluetooth, basic AM/FM radio with single speaker, no cruse control. This truck was $200 cheaper than a similar sized Penske rental. I rate this an average - Not bad but not Excellent.
David GU-Haul was overpriced and unable to drop off at different location. I had to drive it back to same location and paid $300. Never coming back to this location.

VIRGINIA CI had a very positive experience with the dealer, Carter Power Tools, Chester, Va., as well as on line.
Catherine LNice and easy to work with. They helped me another time to help me find a truck to rent. I hadn't reserved one and they got me out of a pickle. Good people!
MICHAEL TThe owner helped me he was very friendly and he explained the using of the U-Haul app very well he also told me that I might a little trouble with it but if so I can always call Customer Service and they would walk me through. I did have a lot of trouble with the app after talking to 3 agents I finally got one that was very helpful once Then everything went well I the app but I see it still need a little more work but overall my experience was good

I didn't get his name but while she checked me into a rental, he rounded the equipment I needed l. They make a great team. I would definitely recommend.

SHAWN GSome debris in the back, so the previous user didn’t sweep before returning. Windshield needing cleaning, but there was no washer fluid. Both minor. Corporate needs to include in the return statement that the photo of the mileage and gas guage needs to be taken before the keys are returned in order to include the photo in the return app. I dropped the truck key in the lock box, then opened the app;’could not add The photo to the app after the fact. Also, when I clicked on the Review link, the page said “This page does not exist.” Another corporate fix needed. In addition, the UHau site on Blest Riad in Chesterfield wasn’t listed on UHaul’s website as a pick up/drop off location. Are they no longer available? Is so, add them; they were closer than Carter. Carter personnel were very pleasant and professional.

Randy GI dropped it off when they were closed. however I received a call from UHAUL that told me to drop it somewhere else after I already turned in the key in the drop box. The lady on the phone kept claiming the location I dropped it off at was full but drop off the van there was only 2 other vehicles there. I set up this drop off point at my pick up location. I not sure why There is confusion. anyway all went well.
