JON Z.I checked that the equipment wasn't clean and well maintained for the following reasons: 1) Outside of truck and tires were very muddy (chunks of grass stuck in side bumper. Not a big deal but the truck wasn't clean on the outside. 2) The photos of the truck for acceptability did not match the actual vehicle so I had to take multiple pictures of the damage on the truck before we took it so that we were not held responsible (long scrape on side of truck, missing gas cap, dent on one side, front hood had peeling chrome). 3) I think the website should include (maybe I missed it) information about refueling the vehicle as part of the cost. It did cost us about $100 to fill the truck back to the original amount. I did appreciate that moving blankets were provided with the truck. I also appreciated the sticker warning in the truck that said to sweep it out and fold the blankets to avoid a service charge (the clerk did not mention that to us upon pick up). Another positive: when I called to get an extension on the length of time for having the truck, the representative was VERY helpful and was able to accommodate our need. Overall, this was an excellent experience and I would rent a U-Haul again.

DAVID D.The only issue I had, was right after I picked up the van, there was a low tire pressure warning light on the dashboard. I had to get the tire pumped up. I then worried my entire 12 hundred mile trip that I would have an problem with it. It would have been nice to have had a slight reduction in my cost to compensate for the worrisome tire issue.

FRED P.The price that I was charged was $23 more than quoted. I wanted to pick up the trailer in Kingston PA. They told me I might have to travel a half hour or so. I had to travel 90 miles past the Kingston location and then come back. It added 3 hours onto my trip.

I waited there over an hr and a half to finally get my keys then bringing it back same problems and now they took too much money off my card that has yet to be refunded! Shawn K.I was told to arrive at 930am as they needed time to clean the vehicle. I did arrive a little early, but it did not appear as if he intended to clean it. I was surprised that I couldn't pick up the vehicle at the location that I made the reservation. Also, they indicated that the tank was 11/16 full. However, when the key was turned, it was obvious that the tank was only 1/2 full. I asked him to modify the contract. He said he would....but I do not recall receiving a newer email with this updated. Sorry to say I had to fill the tank up to 11/16 even though I left with 1/2 a tank. Not happy

KIMBERLY S.Uhaul employee could not connect undersized safety chain hooks to my receiver? Claimed it was my problem to solve! Blew my timetable to drive around looking for and buying adaptors. Unacceptable and terrible response to a customer. I will never rent from there again. On the flip side, Ms. Aaron Clark at the drop off in Bolton, VT, explained and showed me how the safety chains connect! They do connect Williamsport clod! She also explained that she keeps adaptors in her store for eventualities! Kudos to Aaron Clark, raspberries to Williamsport clod.

Jill M.The uHaul company should keep their website inventory updated rather than letting you place the reservation and changing it last minute when they realize they can't fill it at the original location. It added a lot of stress to an already stressful day.
Nichole W.I don't think charging someone for mileage from a pick up location out of there way is far you should not be charged for mileage from the pick up location to the address you give them I was charged 8 extra miles just to pick up and drop off a uhaul truck We already have to put the gas back into the truck so again that was another $10 I think Uhaul should evaluate the rates and the other charges they charge people

Jo S.I have send an email to uhaul about being overcharged. The problem is that I ordered 2 dozen pads at 10.00 per dozen then when I picked up the pads I was given 1 dozen and charged 20.00 for 1 dozen pads. I return the equipment at the scheduled time, no one was there to check me in. I wasted 1/2 hr waiting for someone, I finally left the keys in a mail slot in the door. Now I'm being overcharged 10.00 If I don't hear back from U haul soon I will be disputing the credit card charges. Please email me back at racline98@verizon.net
