Uhaul changed my pickup location without my notice 2 times. Picking up took an extremely long time. During the process the employee had their vehicle repossessed. The employee left myself and other customers waiting while they tried to save their vehicle from the tow service. Absolutely horrible experience. Already had 1 small refund due to location change. Uhaul has to figure out how to uphold their reservations.Derek D.

First of all i reserved the uhaul in advance when i gor their they could not find my reservation then he said he needed back that night when i reserved it for 8 hours he wanted it back in two. We paid for 50 extra miles and we only drove 57 miles and he charged us for 97 miles i will never rent a uhaul again from their and he was very rudeHeather S.

We had a miscommunication and we informed the U-Haul we would be late by an hour or so returning. They said no problem! Upon checking out, we were charged 20 dollars an hour. That was not mentioned in the phone call. After being late to get our equipment, I feel like it was only fair we get it returned late. I believe I deserve the $40 back.Mick S.

Why was the gas tank only half full when I picked it up. It's hard for a customer to gauge how much gas to fill it back up to half full. I ended up fill in more than I used (I filled it up to 3/4 tank full) and was not reembursed for filling it a quarter tank more than I received it. I explained this to the owner and he just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. Obviously if I'm taking the time to fill this out, I'm going to comment on your poor quality of service, I'm not satisfied with the service. In the future it would be good if customers receive a full tank of gas so we can return it full and not overpay for gas.kyle H.

You changed the location, forcing me to drive- and therefore pay $.99/mile- for 30 extra miles. The location you sent me to was extremely rude, did not follow social distancing and mask ordinances which are REQUIRED by the state and county, and when I even backed up to not want them to breath on me the guy literally stepped up to me with his chest within 12inces of mine and laughed in my face and then walked around the counter to finish the process still laughing. You pentalized me for having incorrect information on your web site- I understand you don't 'guarantee' the equiptment, but you had me rent from a location that isn't even approved to rent equiptment yet and then I had to pay thirty dollars. The Uhaul was nasty and dirty. I had to spend time cleaning the inside the cab and in the box. The box was muddy and wet and I had to take several towel to clean and dry it out.Jeffrey S.

I had arrived at 4:20pm for truck pick up, they gave me paper documents but key is not available with them as some person has taken the key and went away from store. The mobile check in didn't work very well and the person at the counter couldn't find my reservation in the system. By the time they got that all squared away it was ten minutes after my check in schedule. When I brought the uhaul truck back the mobile return kept giving me error messages and not telling me what I needed to do to fix the issue.Spencer F.

The touch less service feels pointless when you still have to go inside to get the key. I had to ask if my add ons were in the truck and they weren't. We had to wait for the add ons from previous move to be removed from the truck and ours to be loaded. There was some food splattered inside the truck that we didn't see until we were loading in furniture so clearly these aren't Inspected and set up for each pick up. The whole process of having to use the touch less app was really frustrating, enabling locations and taking photos was tedious and counter productive in some cases(ex: writing what the gas levels and miles were at when you had to submit a photo anyways). It's a weird time right now though so I understand me not getting a choice in working with a person as I wished. My main annoyance was having to verify all my add ons were in there and finding the truck was dirty which was something we could've been blamed for. Frustrating experience but the people were kind so I do appreciate that.Devon G.

While the experience was mostly average, the trailer was not available when it was supposed to be. My appointment was set for 12:00 and the proprietor of the site left a few minutes before to go get the trailer from across town to bring it back. I waited in the car for 30 minutes which made me late for the appointment I had needed the trailer for in the first place. I called the 800 number for Uhaul and they quickly made good on the $50 guarantee which did help to quell my frustrations but didn't improve the situation on the ground - I was still late. When I arrived at Centerpoint Convenience on Monday morning to pickup the truck, I was finishing the online check-in and received a call from one of the owners (I'm assuming) of the store. She told me that there was a problem with the truck and that there was not a 20â€ available and another one had a broken ramp. She offered a 26â€ truck for the same price but I declined and went with a 15â€ option. I had also reserved an applicable dolly and was informed that there were not any appliance dollies available and instead they gave me a regular dolly (already on my reservation) and a furniture dolly (no charge). This meant I had to go purchase an appliance dolly to take care of my move. I can understand the truck situation but maybe perhaps a little earlier communication. The lack of appliance dolly was irritating. I think she attempted to meet my needs and apologized for the inconvenience. ThanksWilliam M.

Tried getting a truck at a location. No one was there to help. Called customer service and they told me I had to use the app. Not sure why customer service couldn't help. In my opinion that's what customer service is their for. To help customers. Ended up having to change locations to pick up truck. The Lady who checked out the truck to me didnt do the paperwork properly. Owner of the store almost reported the truck stolen. Lots of problems with the uhual app and online booking. This was the worst customer service I have ever received. First it took me 30 mins to pick the truck cause the guy didn't speak English and couldn't find my reservation. His wife had to come out of the office to find it. After she found it they tried to tell me the truck had 1/2 tank of gas in it, there was only 1/4 of a tank. The guy literally went outside the shuck the truck to try to make the gauge change. The truck had sunflower seed in it and a cigarette pack. However the truck itself ran good. When returning the truck the guy chaged me for $62.50. This fee was for gas in the amount of $37.50 (please note I put gas in it before dropping it off) and a cleaning fee of $30.00. This amount was took out of my account within minutes of leaving the key in the box. I recieved an email notify me of this charge. I went back to the store and the guy refunded the money with no problem. However my problem is your company took the money out of my account with 2 mins of me dropping your truck off but it takes you 3 to 5 days to put my money back. This money was money I needed for gas to go see my grandpa that's currently dying, he is in the final stages of dementia and is in hospice. The people I talked to about this matter was very rude and pushy. All they wanted to do was get me off the phone and continued to tell me that it takes 3 to 5 day and how it's my bank that's holding the money. It's not my bank holding the money I checked. I have never been treated so poorly by any company until now. This is my first and last time I will ever use UHAUL for anything. Also I hope you guys have a very Merry Christmas with your family's cause can't go see my grandpa before he passes way cause for your employee mistakes.Jenny R.
Despite being late the angry guy inside the store was wanting to charge me even more for being late. He said I'm lucky someone else closed me out of the account or he would have continued to charge us for another 4 days. We returned the truck on time we just had a dolly we forgot about for 2 days longer then expected bc we just moved into a home and didn't have time to bring the dolly back on top of work. The Center Point store is pretty close to the airport. As far as I know it's the closest you can get. There can be a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff, but they know what they're doing -just be patient. My experience was that they genuinely care. Even though it took a few minutes to properly communicate the owner really was interested in taking about me and what I was up to. I have no reservations about patronizing them again.Jason S.
