The young woman handling the office seemed to be having a bad day or just doesn’t like people. I told her I was returning a trailer and she quickly told me to follow her around the side. I guess I was supposed to understand exactly what that meant. I went outside, backed the trailer out of the driveway and turned onto a side street and saw her in a modified golf cart. She immediately headed down a dirt road to a large open area holding a large quantity of u-haul equipment. She hooked up to a trailer and pulled it out from the side-by-side stored cargo trailers and pointed to the spot and said “park it there”. Not being great at parking trailers I told her that I don’t think I could do that. She got out of her cart and quickly walked over to my truck, hurriedly disconnected everything and pushed the trailer into place. I asked if she needed anything else and she replied, “No, you’re finished’ in what I can only describe as gruff. She left me thinking I upset her or inconvenienced her in some way. I don’t mean to cause her any grief but somebody should teach her about customer service. It was a very strange encounter for such a simple contact. Maybe she was just having a bad day - we never know what’s happening in a person’s life.

Pedro AThe absolute most unprofessional and dishonest service I've ever used. The scheduler said to me I would have the truck till Monday and the contract was set to Sunday. If auditors check the phone call they will hear her say MONDAY. The other service I used on a separate contract (uhaul box) was delayed because the movers. The movers said they would be at the apartment at 11am and they did not arrive until 130pm. My truck was scheduled to be returned at 12:40pm, so because the uhaul movers were late, I was then forced to call uhaul truck dropoff location in Huntington beach and let them know I'd need to pay for another day. The rep at that location told me I'd only be charged 40$ for another day because after 1:40pm there is another day charge. I returned the truck on that same day right before the location closed. They then told me my charge was 180$ and told me I had the truck for 2 extra days. I explained to the manager what happened and he reduced the charge to 80$ because of the miscommunication on behalf of Uhaul. If I was in the wrong then he wouldn't have refunded me 80$. The only good thing about this whole service was the manager at the Huntington beach location who heard me out and reduced my charge. Other then that, I will never use Uhaul again and will tell everyone to Not use Uhaul.

PAYMAN RThese girls bust their ass off . I wish my wife would do 5% of what these girls do . I’ve been renting from the location for about two years . I heard someone made a complaint regarding their cats in the office that’s it unsafe . Those cats are the nicest cats I ever been around . And the office never smells like cat pee , never smelled like cat pee . Oh wait , they made a complaint regarding one of the girls skin was beat red . Listen Karen , maybe because they ain’t lazy and out there at 100 degree weather loading trailers so customers won’t wait long hours . The trucks and trailers are at another lot and they do it back and forth all day long . I don’t go there to expect kiss ass service that takes hours to hook up a trailer . These girls be picking these 6x12 closed heavy ass trailers all day long and maybe Karen doesn’t realize that may turn your face red from heavy equipment and hot weather of she actually did the work . I want counter service regardless of female or male . I got places to go and these girls make it happen every single time . I wish someone would say something in front of me about these hard working girls . I’ll go in Jack wick motions real quick . This Uhaul location is by far the best I’ve seen and delt with and that’s why I will continue to go there . Oh and by the way , these hard working girls are the granddaughters of the owner . They taking care of their grandpa’s business like grandchildren should . Hopefully you get me on this location . And if you want a lazy ass female talking all day , this location is not for you . Come in , get your rental and handle your day . Unbelievable complaint , this location is awesome . Cats are friendly , girls are hardworking and yes their face may be red but that’s from busting their ass off . A real woman if you ask me . The only pussy cat here in the individual who gave this stupid complaint.

My business partner also commented when we walked out. As a business owner myself, I couldn’t imagine allowing someone with such a bad attitude deal with customers directly. I rarely leave bad reviews but this was very disappointing. I rent from U-haul regularly, she was bad for their personal business and U-Haul as a trustworthy brand. D - for disappointing.

Also, they tried to charge your card without your permission for any extra charges. They feel like charging you. If I can give them several stars, I would.
