Chesapeake Outdoor Structures were great. However, we initially reserved the truck from the Grasonville location. A few days before the move, we were told the truck was only available for local use only and not available for a one way move and we had to go to a location out of our way to pick up the truck ourself. I don't understand how one can reserve a truck and then be told, sorry, we have one but you cannot have it. :(

We have rented from UHaul before and will continue to based on this experience. All went very smoothly with pick up and also return to Gladdens in Harrington DE. Would also like to acknowledge the owners of Centreville Self Storage in Centerville MD who we originally contacted for a rental but not having the equipment we needed in stock researched the next closest location and made the reservation for us. This was extremely helpful and much appreciated.

I chose this location because I wanted to turn the truck into an open store to a representative on site because of past problems with Uhaul turn ins at other locations. I got there at at 3:20pm, there was no one on duty, and the number to call went to voicemail which was full. I will not recommend this location or use this location ever again.

Trailer was in poor condition. Terrible vibration at speed over 45 mph, could see rear axle vibrating and shook my whole truck. One of the tire straps in the front was abraded halfway through, had to add my own ratchet straps to secure the vehicle properly. Location itself was great as always but this trailer was in poor condition.

The interaction with the Uhaul representative was fantastic. He was efficient and knowledgeable with the process. He confirmed my reservation and was there to help me hook up the trailer. I couldn't ask for better service. However, I had significant issues with the app and the website, to the point where I had to call the site representative to ensure that I had properly placed a reservation. The app is not user friendly when it comes to changing account information. I have a new phone number and the app links to the old owner of the phone number's email for login verification or account modification. The website does the same thing when I attempt to look at my reservations via my phone number. If I am forced to use the app to schedule reservations or if I cannot verify that I have a reservation online, I will be forced to use a different service.

After 1.5 hours trying to find an alternate location, due to not wanting to drive the less than stable trailer 2 hrs back. My only option was to leave it here after hours…wasn’t expecting to get charged for ALL of the inconveniences of this rental. Guess I’ll take that up with corporate…

The trailer leaked around the doors during a heavy rain resulting in wet cargo. Fix the leak.

I had to do an after hours drop to honor my rental agreement time window and I struggled to get the trailer off the vehicle. Why wouldn’t U-Haul use trailer tongue jacks?!!!

Location is very unkept and the lawn needs to be mowed. There was clear signage on where to drop the keys and park the vehicle. I rated was the personnel helpful no, because there was no one there as it was an off hours drop off. They need to add a category, not applicable.

This 26' truck should have the suspension checked. It rode rougher than previous 26' trucks I've rented. On a particular stretch of US highway, it would start to buck/hop badly at 65mph. I believe this road has some wavy harmonics, as it happened on both ends of my trip. Had to drive 55 on a 65 limit to stop the bucking. Everything else was great.

The app is absolutely unbearable to use. It rejected my photos at least once on every step after following the clear instructions and took forever to load. So much so I'll deal with a person next time instead of opting to use the mobile check-in. Please optimize the app or just let people use the website. 0/10
