The "19.95 per day" fee is BS. The insurance is 15+5 and a 1$ per mile for use. Just spent $95 to get 2 tvs from Costco then get some Facebook furniture. A homedepot truck would have been more honestly represented. The location for a pickup was swarming with bees. Not a safe location for me.

Fast and efficient.

It was worth driving just a little bit further out of our way for a good value and a great rental experience. I highly recommend to others, go to the Chevron on Magee next time you need a U-haul truck and an experienced crew to get you in, out and moved. Jay took great care, ensuring our future return.

Kenneth MThe fuel gauge was not accurately represented at pickup. The truck actually had approximately a half tank of gas, which I documented with a photo of the fuel gauge and mileage at the time of pickup. However, the contract indicated the vehicle had 5/8 of a tank. As a result, I had to purchase additional fuel to return the truck to the level stated on the contract, costing me approximately $20. With current fuel prices, discrepancies like this can have a meaningful financial impact on customers. I would appreciate a review of this charge and consideration for reimbursement.

Eric CThere was something wrong with the gas tank. Couldn’t run gas pump for longer than 1/10th of a gallon before the pump handle would pop and have to start again. Made it incredibly time consuming to add gas. Tried every possible level of insertion to no avail. Attendant at pickup chevron tried too and could get it to work. It took me 49 mins to fill up the tank from the 1/8th I was provided to start.

WILLIAM RCorporate is the problem. Both locations were excellent. Then I get the call from customer service (generous title) telling me I can’t return the trailer where I made a reservation to return it. They tell me they will compensate me by giving me an extra day. I don’t need an extra day and I certainly don’t need to drive 60 miles round trip to return the trailer! I need to return it where I made reservation. Corporate tells me the neighborhood rental locations can’t accept the trailer. I called the neighborhood location and they said no problem bringing it. I brought it in 30 minutes after its due time (11:30 vs 12:03) and I got charged another day! And I didn’t get a discount for all the hassle of being on the phone with someone who was obstinate, rude, and inconsiderate. FAIL.

VALERIE HWe showed up to pick up our truck, and we waited an hour and 15 minutes for the person that was behind the desk to figure out how to rent us the truck. Luckily, a manager came and figured it out, but you shouldn’t have to wait that long, especially when we did everything else online.

AMY BI dropped off the trailer on Saturday, but received a text message from Uhaul to drop the trailer off at a different location on Monday. I do not understand why the trailer I rented although being returned on Saturday was still listed as being in my possession two days later?
