We dropped off the U-haul after closing hours. There was a sign inside the U-haul that you could save $25 by cleaning the U-haul and folding the blankets. I did both but when I received my final statement, I did not receive a $25 credit but I did get charged for the extra mileage.eric T.
The location was closed at 2:50 pm on Saturday even though the sign read it closes at 3:00pm. After calling the pickup location and waiting on hold, I got no usable help. Finally, after not being able to work the return via the website, an individual named Aaron (call center) told me to just drop the keys in the box. I lost almost an hour in front of City Trailer Sales trying to return via the app / website and calling for assistance.FRANK B.

Just rude in general. Walked in and there was two men there they both just looked and didnt say anything i said i had a truck pick up and one pointed to the other guy and the second guy said name id than asked for card and handed me a paper said its put back. I asked is there other locations he said i can call to drop off somewhere. I asked what is the address for return he said anywhere. Just rude and not helpful. Worst experience ever and next time ill hire a mover just to avoid this type of interation.Brittany C.

The people at this location seemed totally confused by U-Haul's procedures. I had completed the online check-in and when I arrived to pickup the trailer, they didn't know how to retrieve the information and I was forced to go through the check-in procedure again. I wasted over 30 minutes waiting for them to try to get checked in. U-Haul's prices are excessive and we were forced to pay for 3 days when we only needed the trailer for 1. I was going for convenience and I definitely paid for it. Next time I will drive a little farther to get better customer service and value.Albert L.

Sat in this location for 2.5 hours to pick up my rental which had been reserved online. Location did everything possible but received little to no help from corporate or regional U-Haul with computer systems glitch. Our pickup location was changed twice and we had to drive all over Baton Rouge and the surrounding area. When we passed our first location choice there were two trailers that were exactly what we ordered but we were told they didn't have any. The second location did not have any trailers and the gentlemen running the location was unsure why we were even sent to that location when our pick up was at 8 and the soonest they would receive a trailer was at 5 pm.William M.

I called the local U Haul reservation office and they didn't seem to know very much about your business. Told me my 01 2500 Chevy could not tow a 05 kia Shortage 2 wheel front wheel drive on a tow dolly that I needed a auto transport only. My truck has a 15000 tow receiver under the bumper with a 15000 lb ball .I tried to tell her I have towed this car from Ga on a tow dolly with no problems. She still insisted in a Auto transit. I finally just told her to have a great day , and I was a little confused.so I went to your website and followed the entry steps and I was able to get my tow dolly with no confusion, great website. I will have to say my drop off experience wasn't very good. A guy came to the door after we knocked because we didn't just want to drop the keys off in a drop box. We didn't enter the place of business, the outside where you park was clean. He didn't even look in the trailer to ensure all was safe and sound and in good conditions. He did share with me that I would receive a final bill form U-Haul is all was in good condition. I received two add calls about my drop off and I told them I had dropped off the truck already and didn't need any assistance. A day later they were calling looking for the truck and told me maybe they wrote the number down wrong. Sorry to have to share this news, the drop off location was good for me it was just the after affects that was disappointing. ThanksAnn F S.

There were no 26' uhauls like we originally reserved. We had to drive from Lafayette to Port Allen just to get a 20 foot. And because it wasn't big enough we had to make two trips from Lafayette to shreveport just get all of our belongings moved and then were charged an extra $200 for the extra mileage. The u-haul was not clean when we picked it up yet we were charge $25 cleaning fee after my husband swept out the back and we left it cleaner than when we picked it up. Nobody checked the U-Haul with us prior to departure. Have used U-Haul many times over the last five years and this will be our last time. We are extremely dissatisfied.Lydia B.

Truck was fairly clean. Steering system had a problem and it was very difficult to keep the truck on the road. Constantly adjusting steering wheel to keep truck in lane. No cruise control just made trip more tiring. Doubt I will rent U-Haul again because next truck may just as hard to handle. The price would have been acceptable had the driving not been so tough. It was very expensive when you consider the stress and strain just trying to steer for 3 days. Not a good trip at all.Rachael R.

You can have your online seller book the correct vehicle so I don't have to make another trip back. I booked a 26 ft and received a 20 foot I have to go rent another truck drive all the way back to baton rouge to pick up the last 6 ft of stuff. I realized after I got to Houston that the truck was full of cat/dog hair. Everyone who was moving stuff kept wondering where hair was coming from. One of the guys who I was paying to help me move finally ask me did I have a cat because he was allergic and he was starting to itch he continued and then his eyes started to swell and then it was definetly a cat! He said he wasn't allergic to dogs(go figure) I still had to pay him $75.00 , it was $150.00 for 2/guys. And I had to kind of help. My suggestion would be to vacuum your trucks and spray disinfectant and bug spray because I've been itching on and off when I unpack certain boxes( like the ones that were on the bottom).Cheryl W.
