I didn't like that I returned the truck deposited the key and then was expected to take pictures of the inside and outside of the truck. Not convenient especially when someone gets paid and should inspect the inside and outside themselves.

Van # BE1318 U was in a bit of a ? state of repair for being a low km vehicle. Drivers side roof mounted plastic component was broken, flapping & bagging roof in wind, and allowing water to leak onto dash. Rear doors rubber moulding was loose & coming off, & seats had hair on them & seemed dirty. Thanks

The location is on a lake - a sad place to have this ghetto yard. Though there are two actual structures on site, the office was located in a trailer - easily confused amongst the other trailers and storage bins littering the property. Online check-in is impossible because the Internet Service is excruciatingly limited. The location is far from town and the property not well maintained. By way of example, there was garbage (such as an old mattress) in the field. The actual uhaul office was untidy and not professionally maintained. Finally, my wife and I literally stood outside the proprietors trailer (not recognizing it at his office), talking to Uhaul customer service and trying to do online checkin. It defies credulity that the guy would have missed us; yet he came out after about 30 minutes, strolled over to some other part of the yard to water, then returned.

Truck had leak on tag it said customer use at own risk repaired with aluminum tape but was still leaking the guy in office didnt know what he was doing also the uhaul system wasnt up and running had to leave put money on my canadian tire bank card cause we could not pay with debit for rental the truck was dirty inside cab and box had to sanitize it before we took it i will never go to this uhaul again i will take the extra charge for pick up in calgary overall the experience was horrible

We asked to drop off in Canmore and then was told we had to drop off in Cochrane a whole hour away not convenient. Apparently they recently sold the U-Haul in Canmore. We got stuck in the field dropping off the truck and it was hard to find the dropbox. I phoned the number given me by text and the your customer service was excellent at U-Haul office.

The staff was rude. They would not wear there masks as per Alberta health guidelines. They put my contract up on the cork board for all customers to see. Was a horrible experience. I will never recommend this location to anyone.

All was well except I thought I had a $20 a day truck and I was charged $30 a day. However I replaced the gas that I used and the gas gauge was exactly where it was when I started and I still was charged over $16 for gas. Not happy about that so why was that I'm going to phone the manager now and find out otherwise it was okay

Want to inform you that the trailer 6x12 rented from Cochrane on May 11 has no breaks and break light is not working well.. was pulled off for it. We picked up the trailer before the office closes at 145pm. The guy overlooking the Cochrane site was rude and unhelpful.. he asked for $110 for deposit and hitch rent which is way more than we usually pay for.. didn't hand us the receipt and said that it's in the system already.. he gave us the equipment ticket and run off. We spoke to the Uhaul guy in Symons about the situation.. he approved the transaction. As we returned the trailer today, the employee was confused and don't know if he has to return our deposit money of $70. Spoke to his manager, the guy we also spoken to yesterday and we had an unpleasant response from him as we explained about the refund. Somehow, this two uhaul locations aren't recommended for sure.

Returned trailer a day early. Had a hard time getting it off the hitch. Maybe better communication in that regard. Also, rented bag of blankets. There was only 8 in bag and was suppose to be more for price. Maybe a bit of a quality control issue here. Trailer was good. Towed well. Maybe better tires as tread was getting thin. Thanks!

This was the worst experience we have had. Cochrane was a shot show of a dump. It was very uncomfortable to be there and I felt grossed out. The guy didn't know what was going on and even though we did the client check in, he did it all over again during Covid making us stand in this dirty trailer. He also took my credit card number instead of letting me to do through the machine which again made me feel uncomfortable and he charged me twice. Never again will I rent from you

Drop off was in some yard. Drop box was almost impossible to find. Finally found it with some scrawled small letters on the side of a trailer. Need some signage.

out in the country not in Cochrane, mud all around, no power so could not get a receipt, was a joke, took forever to get through to your return vehicle phone so could at least get acknowledgement that you had the vehicle back. all was a nightmare

It was difficult to find and there was no signage relating to uhaul. I parked it among some other vehicles and storage but had no idea if it was the right place. There was barely any cell/internet coverage there so it was very difficult to do the drop off online because the web page would take forever to load. When I tried to call uhaul to do it over the phone, I didn't have cell reception to make a call. Once I finally completed the check out(web based), I couldn't find the drop box for the key. I walked around for 10min and only found a courier drop box so I put the key in there. I understand it's a new location, but hopefully in time some improvements can be made so other people are less confused.
