Best Uhaul in town
Tyler cWhile the trailer was clean and apparently well maintained we had an issue while driving back from the drop off location. The left/drivers side front tire on the trailer started bouncing badly and when we stopped and examined the tire we found it to have a bad crown in the tire. We “babied” it back to the pickup location without issue and notified the local vendor on the issue. Had we had a longer distance to travel this would have been an issue.
Travis HInspection of tires. We had a blowout on a busy highway which could have resulted in catastrophe. Only response was sorry it happened. No response in why we were rented a trailer with a defective tire. It had a thumping noise that we were assured would go away once the trailer had weight. It did not and a blowout occurred on the highway. Is there a safety check list including tire inspections for any rental that goes out? If not I would ever feel confident in renting from U Haul again. Very upset we were put at risk

Derrick GThe checkout process through the phone app is the WORST! That should have been done when I reserved the truck using the website. Why do you ned to contact someone else when we are picking up the truck? We would not answer a call from an unknown number. I was very tempted to call our credit card company and tell them to deny your charge. Then when you called about it, tell you to go outside in 100 degree weather and discuss things for an hour, which is how long it took us to get the truck. We are never going yo rent a truck again using that process.
Stan BThe uhaul was horribly dirty, it had blue glitter and paint all over it that we really couldn't get off and it got all over all of our stuff. Also, when we arrived the truck was barricaded in by multiple trailers and we couldn't get it out. We had to call them after hours and wait a long time for someone to show up and move the trailers to let us get it out.

DALLAS LDoor was extremely hard to close with no handle to grip to assist in closing, I had to push on the locking mechanism to try and close. Driver's side had two different sized tires. It's a trailer that should be retired!

Jose SWe didn’t get a lock or otherwise recommend one. We had to figure that out. We were taking a toll road where you can go 80 mph but the truck would not do it or could not. Other U-Haul was passing us.
