The sign in their window was a slap in the face. I lost my father to covid last week. My son was unable to join us for Christmas because he has covid. I'm surprised and disappointed that a national company, like uhaul, would allow such a dangerous situation for their customers.Daniel I.

There was a 26 foot truck like the kind I reserved but had a trailer hooked to rear end. I got there around 12 o'clock and they said the truck I wanted was not there but I had to wait till 130 I said just let me have the truck and take the toad trailer off they said the people were going to be there any minute that I had to come back at 1:30 well I got back and the truck was still there with the trailer on the back they just didn't want to unhook the trailer to let me have in the truck that I got had a problem with the gas cap and I had to deal with that the whole trip. They said that happens all the time if someone fills the tank with the truck running and it would clear well it didn't for three days.Dennis D.

Rented a 10 ft truck with about 19,000 miles on it. Ran great and the engine kept the speed in check on downhill grades which was great, since we had several mountain passes to cross from Colorado to Washington. Road noise was louder than I expected in the cab. Overall good experience.Danny L.

Your online check-in service was pretty easy to use provided it worked properly. It would not allow me to upload my ID in advance. The store clerk was nice but not organized. I had to reshow my ID multiple times as well as my credit card.John M.

On 9/11, Lisa called me to inform me the trailer was due to her location. This was a complete surprise as it was communicated with us via phone during our original booking that we had it for 4 days with a 2 day extension due to the fact there were no 4 x 8 trailers in CA. We picked one up in AZ and drive to to CA and then back to CO. Lisa was friendly and respectful. She said she would call their regional manager and let him know about my situation and she asked me to reach the original customer service agent who gave us 2 additional days (also very professional and respectful). Today, we were informed by another employee here that we were charged the extra days and it was my responsibility to call their regional manager. She was rude, disruptive (didn't listen but asked over me) and spoke with an elevated voice. She also hung up on me when I was trying to confirm the original agent's name and asking her to please stop talking over me so she could listen to what I was trying to explain. When there is choice in where we spend our money, she makes that choice very simple - NOT THERE EVER! If I could the respectful, professional agent who helped me solve this original problem (no trailers in CA) I know he would confirm he gave us extra days to drive back from CA. Unfortunately, this person today said her system was down and she couldn't confirm his name.Robyn S.
I certainly didn't appreciate the 5 extra hours and additional miles I had to go out of my way to pick up equipment I had reserved almost a month in advance and not being informed of these changes until the night before I was to pick it up! I was gladly given extra miles from customer service and an extra day. I still returned equipment 2 days early. Every employee was awesome, very helpful and efficient .Vicki B.

the staff in Montrose were unusually helpful. After a very long drive, I was really happy to be treated so well. I wish I got the woman's name that helped me at check in and told me to go down the street and fill up the tank, as I'd forgotten I had to do that. She was just terrific. 2nd time in 5 weeks, U-Haul stiffed me with SafeMove insurance after I declined. I phoned Scott, the region's supervisor, with no response. I am considering filing a formal complaint to the Colorado State Insurance Commissioner for this business practice. If it happens twice to me, it surely is occurring with many other clients.
