First off they tried to give me a old tow to pull a Nissian Murano 200+ miles. Secondly they put in computer there was a half a tank of gas and actually it was almost empty. We barely made it to the gas station. They were very unprofessional, we didn't sign any documents and three people handle the order. A person on phone doing computer work, the girl we saw at cashier, and some random female (who expressed she was just stepping in for tow pictures). Lastly my drop-off was suppose to be Rex Ga and it was changed without me knowing or agreeing.Eric W.
My rental was supposed to be ready for me at 10:30, I got there at 10:42 due traffic. I did everything online and was told to get the key from the counter, the young lady at the desk was on her phone texting the whole time. I waited until 11:26 to get the key for the uhual. The gas mileage was lied about and I have photos to prove that the gas was not where she said it was BEFORE I even left their parking lot. The cab had used masks in the window and under the seat, behind the driver seat was half drunk water bottles and more trash. I did not pick up the trash cause it did not belong to me and I didn't feel safe touching a strangers face mask or water bottle. The process was long and tiring.Danielle W.

Worst business experience of my life. I would tell anyone in Douglas area looking to rent a truck or trailer go ANYWHERE but this place It took 2 hours just to get trailer. Go to Waycross or Tifton and skip this place for sure.JEFFERY S.

Reservation did not allow me to check out because I arrived at 12:30pm to pick up truck instead of 10:30am. Took me an 35 minutes to get someone to answer the phone after the message said the wait time was 5-10 minutes. She couldn't help me and put me on hold for another 40 minutes until someone answered the phone. All because I was picking up a truck 2 hours later than my reservation time even though I was paying for the truck for two days. Terrible...Michael L.

When I picked up the truck it had 1/2 tank of fuel. The attendant on duty told me to bring it back with a 1/2 tank. I was charged $75 for fuel. Not happy!Eldon H.

This experience was horrible , I reserved the truck online to be picked up at 9 since we had movers coming at 10. We got to the place only to find out they were closed on Saturdays which made no sense. Then we called and the girl told me she had another truck and ready for pickup in another location we went there only to find out they didn't open till 10 am.lots of running lots of money wasted on gas . The equipment was full of glass and trash and the lady at the service desk was rude I was told my money would be refunded and it wasn't the guy that help me was awesome and the janitor apologized about the trailer condition and told me I would receive a full refund but I didn't not get a refund and that is very upsetting I will never return to this locationRoss W.

To where I went back to my truck and called the uhaul reservation person who had to speak with them from my phone plus they were rude.. The trailer had a broken door hinge, a missing catch on the fender to hold the door open and many stickers on it marking damage. I found the broken hinge when we opened the door at our loading point. returned it. got another in great condition. The first one should not have been in service.earl A.

Again, no discounts offered for a half ass truck. Not happy about that. We were told all you had to do is cause uhaul. Well you see the problem was the truck was loaded and all parties was ready to pull out for the 4 hour trip. Another nightmare was trying to get the door to go back up to unload. It was so bad we drove to uhaul with door up. Why no discussion of a discount?Jan V.

Trailer had trash in it but otherwise it was okay. The rental place is a seedy motel and dont expect fast service. If you have family with you, use this place as a last resort as the motel occupants will beg for money and cigarettes and get offended if you dont complyMichael C.

The gas gauge amount was incorrect, truck wasn't clean, checkout time was different than actual time. Nobody verified any of this before I left in it. I called uhaul and supposed to let manager know ANF he can give me a call but haven't heard anything yet. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT UHAUL LOCATION!!!! I thought it would be cheaper renting a uhaul just to move across town but it cost me over $100! I could've just paid someone $40 to move my stuff! I was informed it was only $29.99 for the truck which by the way looked way smaller than 15 feet and only .79 per mile. I was NOT informed that I had to keep the gas in it. This location over charged me for a extra day when the receipt showed I had this truck for 23 hours. I was also charged 62.00 of gas for going 8 miles. Even though I put the gas back where it was. Then after speaking to a uhaul representative on the 800 line and her doing her figures there was 26.72 unaccounted for. Two days after returning this uhaul my card was hit once again for 90.47. My original cost was only 36.74 once brought back I was charged 127. When calling this location the representative could not explain why the charge was so much. She was very rude hung up in me twice and then was also rude to the customer service representative from uhaul when she called. I called the location back and asked for the owner to give me a call to get things taken care of and never heard from him After speaking with a uhaul representative on the 800 line hopefully I will be refunded. This location should not be allowed to carry a uhaul name. I would be ashamed to have people carry my company name they way these ones have it was the worst experience I have ever had and will never recommend this location. I do thank the customer service representative from the 800 line for all thier help.Destiny T.

I cringed when I learned this location would be the only place in the area where I would be able to pick up my order. This is a seedy motel known locally for pervasive drug activity, prostitution, and other criminal occurrences. As feared, my family and others who were with us were subjected to vulgar language by employees and tenants and a less-than-professional experience. I'm not easily offended, but this location is far from being family-friendly. Should I ever need UHaul again, I sincerely hope this will not be the only pickup location available.Gerald H.

The people at the establishment have obviously not been trained to handle a uhaul transaction. It took an hour and a half to get my rental. The person had to keep making calls to their manager to ask what to do. I was also charged $17 extra after I returned the truck. Never will I ever deal with Fountain Inn again. It's a heavy drug area also. It made me a bit nervous to have to wait that long for the clerk to get me checked out. I was a bit more nervous when I returned the truck since it was dark outside. I would definately not recommend this establishment to ANYONE. Horrible on so many levels.Amy K.
