Carl HI rented a auto transport trailer one way from 29 palms CA, to San Diego CA, One way witch is three hour drive and was charged two day rental. I feel that I was over charged .

ALBERT OEmployee was lazy after we informed him that the app was not working all he did was give the key to truck without doing a walk thru. Tank was at half a tank and returned at half a tank. Employee didn’t want to do a walk thru of the truck when returned and is then charged that tank was at 5/6 when checked out. This is untrue and I feel like this employee is scamming people. Also the facility smelt of cat urine and employee was too involved with his video games to do his job. If I was willing to put gas in the truck before returning it why wouldn’t I put it to where it was when I picked it up? When called to ask why we were charged he stated because gas wasn’t where it was when the truck left. I told him that it was and without even wanting to look at the account he was like no it wasn’t. How would you know what we’re talking about without looking at the account. Very unprofessional person you have working for U-Haul.

GEOFFREY MI would like for more instructions from the uhaul tech on how to poperly use the car dolly. They just hooked it up and go and I had to youtube the procedure to make sure I got it right.

KAYCEE CWe called to let them know we would be arriving really close to closing time, and he stayed open a couple of minutes past to complete our checkout. He had everything ready, got the trailer hooked up and we were in and out in about 10 minutes.

ROSA HWhat's the point of our ordering if it's not ready at pick up. The online order wasn't found online but I had all the records to show it was. Guy at the counter was doing a great job navigating, but the bald guy in charge I guess was mean and nasty and wouldn't help. When I returned the vehicle it wasn't very quick, I was 15 minute prior to open hours and left just under 45 minutes later with 1 other person. Once again the person behind the counter was super nice and I could have actually just dropped the keys and was informed any billing changes would be taken care of online. After I had utilized this service I was informed this was not the place to go. Oh well, another lesson learned.

ROSA HMy equipment was not ready for me and was not in the truck where it should have been. Their GPS 24/7 doesn't work. It says you're not there when you're literally on top of it. Granted most of these problems are probably on Uhaul themselves but the missing equipment was a huge hassle

allicean pEvery time I need a truck they have it. I only rent from this location. Fast and quick service. The van I rented today worked perfectly for a quick trip to Home Depot. There store is right off the main road and next to a gas station so you can get gas quick and easy on return. Darin always comes through for me.

STEPHEN DDidn’t have equipment I reserved. It states on the website that they guarantee the rental or o get 50$ that didn’t happen. Had to use so much more money in gas due to having to use a 15ft truck instead of pick up. Overall was a bad experience
JUSTIN DEverything was fine except my truck had a lock on it that I discovered after I had left the Uhaul site. I was only 3 minutes away so I returned it and , the lock was removed.

ROSCOE PI got the truck and trailer and asked the staff to check the equipment and lights. He insisted that they didn't need to check and said everything was working fine. Long after I drove away, when I tried to open the back door of the truck, I found that it wouldn't open! I called the rescue number and they said they would arrive in 20 minutes, but they didn't come for an hour. Just like that, I arrived at the destination with a truck that couldn't open the door.
yue hThe customer service was very unprofessional and when I called to see why I was charged $87 extra on my credit card they stated it was refunded but in reality it was charged and then the person hung up on me. I will be putting a fraudulent claim on this company with my credit card company
LINDA PWhen I picked up the truck yesterday, I asked the staff to confirm with me that all the equipment was working properly and check the trailer lights. After I asked twice, the staff told me that I didn't need to check, he had already checked and everything was fine. When I towed the trailer to a far place and started loading the truck, I found that the tailgate of the truck could not be opened and could not load the cargo. I called the service number and they said they would arrive in 20 minutes, but they did not arrive. My guests could not wait any longer, so they rented another truck to load the cargo and left. An hour later, someone called to ask me what happened. This experience is too bad. I rented a truck that could not open the door!
YUE HThe driver's side of the cab had dried mud all over the floorboard when I first stepped in, but no matter since I was not charged a cleaning fee when I returned it, as I did sweep out the back-end. The only problem was that the rear roll-up door's rubber seal had bonded with the flooring's paint because of the hot temperatures of the dessert. I had to wiggle a butter knife across the entire bottom seal of the door to get it open. I had to do that each time when opening it. There is either melted paint or tar on the seal... and in my opinion, the seal should be either cleaned or something should be sprinkled across the bottom of it so that it won't stick to the floors mating surface.
Paul DThe customer service representative was helpful and kind. It was obvious that he needed another hand as he was the only employee working. It is very hard to clean trucks and run the counter at the same time. The truck we rented was for a small task with a large item and we needed it only for a few hours. It was the only 15’ truck they had and it was “dirty” inside (a little dust; nothing crazy). He told us this before we checked it out. The truck also was in a flood and had some acceleration issues which he also mentioned. We returned this truck clean and early and would like to compliment the thorough service we received from your associate. Thank you.
ELIZABETH LPost signs for clearly indicating where customers should park their car (off site on the street, or a designated parking lot area, etc) and where the customer should return/park the uhaul truck.

james wI have been in the military for 20 years and have used U-Haul in most of my transfers; they have been outstanding. This was an outlier, as it was horrible. The autotransporter we were assigned was poorly maintained. One of the tires was completely low when we picked it up from the agent, he had to air it up on our way out; that should have been my indicator to turn it down, but I trusted the UHAUL brand because they have always been good to us. We paid over 1500 dollars for the equipment only to have four tire changes and suspension changed during the trip. We stopped three different times to get assistance, costing us money because we had to stop and rent hotel for the night.
Eustace BDriver side mirror needs repair. Store was aware of the problem but had not fixed it.
Ronald SUHaul promised an appliance dolly, which was not available with no prior notification. Further, we had two pickup locations due to having an auto transport. The locations themselves have all been good, but the scheduling and management for equipment was disappointing and aggravating.
Andrew BIt was terrible customer service. The attendants when I picked up the U-haul were rude and displayed poor customer service. The guy when we returned the u-haul was pleasant and nice enough.
Mona SOnline checkin was a little confusing. But store opened when we were to get our truck and the man at counter was wonderful in get us checked in and on our way. Thank you. Out mission for the day was accomplished.
corey rI drove approximately 80 miles out of my way, paying extra day and all the mileage for a truck that was not available. The gentleman was polite, helpful and extended the rental easier than the app did. It wa an emergency move or I would have went back to Yucca and saved myself a bunch of money.
