So here, U Haul first off changed my drop off location to where I had to drive an hour away to drop it off. Turns out the place was closed, so I called U Haul and sat on hold for 15 min before someone answered all in all U Haul sucks, don't trust U Hauls Road Side Assistance either I had to spend 200$ out of my pocket because their truck wasn't "warrantied" but yet I had Road Side Assistance and they said there was nothing they could do to help me.Zachary K.

Dropped off truck Saturday after hoursmichelle W.
I was told they opened at 8 when they really open at 9. I left the truck, cleaned and with more gas than when I began rental and placed keys and contract showing accurate gas reading in lock box. I was e mailed a receipt for a gas charge. I went to the location and the employee/owner acknowledged a mistake was made and claimed he did not see any paperwork with the keys. As a result I was charged for gas when the truck actually had slightly more than when rental began. I was told he could not correct it and refund wrong charge. but if I call 800 go uhaul it would be taken care of. (still discussing issue with them as I had to get back to work after being in a chat for over an hour)!S Philip F.

Although the personnel at this location were very friendly and helpful,this location was not where I had requested my pickup. My online reservation directed me to pickup my order at this location instead. They had the truck, car dolly, and furniture pads, but not the furniture dolly or utility dolly available, as per my reservations. I had to go to another location (the one I had originally requested on my online reservation) to get the rest of my order. The location i went to had a 15' truck and car dolly available for rent. I have no idea why U-Haul would inconvenience me to get my truck, car dolly, and pads at another location when everything I needed was available at my requested location.David R.

I made a reservation in Hammond, only to receive a call to inform me that y'all didnt have any trucks in the area- I had to drive all the way to Long Beach to get a truck. I wasn't offered any discount or gas help- just miles. Then receive a call from the drop off location about shortages- like I didn't already know- rushing me to being truxk back. ??Sonya M.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. Our experience was horrible and set us back a day in our move. I would never do business or refer business to this dealer again. AGAIN ROGER WAS THE BEST. EVEN FROM THE OTHER END OF THE MOVE I FOUND IT EASIER TO CONTACT HIM WITH QUESTIONS AND ADVISE. HE IS THE REAL DEAL WHEN IT COMES TO SERVICE. Roger was great. I had issues with my destination and changed several items and dates Roger was always professional and displayed a great attitude with every alteration. He gave great advise based on my needs that proved to work well and saved me time and money. Uhaul and certainly Roger without a doubt provided me with the best service and completely dominated the two other competitors on price. Uhaul has earned my business for future equipment rentals. My original pick up location was moved to the Pass Road location. When I arrived, they did not have my 26' truck i ordered. They only had a 20' truck. Even though I called the day before to confirm they would have my 26' truck. The Long Beach location was very professional.Kenneth C.

Nothing . Mr. Roger was a great person with extensive knowledge on his equipment and on top of that he was a very polite and kind person that you just don't run across every day. I would strongly suggest that even if you use another U-Haul location thst you go the extra mile or two and come to Long Beach... you'll feel better talking to people that are almost like family after 5 minutes. I originally reserved a uhaul from the Pass Rd Gulfport location, 4 days prior to needing it. The morning of when I went to pick up my reserved uhaul. I was told my reservation was canceled because I did not answer the one time they tried to call me. First of why would you cancel a RESERVATION when you only tried to make contact once. Secondly it would have been helpful if the employees were paying more attention to detail and less to how much time they had left on the clock. She didn't copy any of my info correctly... Hence the reason I didn't answer their one call. 2 hours later and a drive a town over I received a uhaul. Needless to say I will never be using the uhaul company anymore. All that stress and me starting a 9 hour almost 4 hour trip late thanks to uhaul S employees lack of care, and still paying over $500 + gas for having the truck 24 hrs.alexis N.

The dealer was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, your truck was damaged, poorly repaired and all of my possessions were damaged by water! I purchased the 28$ policy but it doesn't cover water damage. The truck walls and roof had large holes, unbeknownst to me, that allowed water in, soaking everything! I made a claim with Repwest, and they have been rude and condescending. I will never rent from Uhaul again! The worst experience of my life! Uhaul should be ashamed for not properly fixing the damage and disclosing to me that I was renting a damaged truck.Melissa M.

Our overall experience was frustrating, aggravating and extremely time consuming. We chose our pick up location which was with-in less than 5 minutes of our house, only to find out the computer system chose a different location which was WAY OUT of OUR WAY to pick the truck. Upon receiving a phone call from the totally inconvenient location, we attempted to change back to the desired location with multiple phone calls placed to UHAUL with no guaranteed confirmation. It was a run-around and a rigamaroll and extremely time consuming at a time when we are trying to relocate my 90 year old mother to a new home where care is needed. It was added stress to what should have been a simple and concise confirmed reservation for a Uhaul truck. I will NEVER go truck Uhaul again and I will tell all to contact a local mover if possible for their moving needs. We were traveling 250 miles and this was complete confusion and stress to deal with this kind of unprofessional service with a MAJOR National organization such as UHAUL.
