Put a better key drop outside the fence line for weekend drop-off. Other than that the young lady that is your u-haul counter persons that has Burnette color hair is a knock-out and a smart young lady. She has a great smile and a great business aditude. I wasn't scheduled to use this location. I called a week prior to pick up to ensure my trailer would be at my preferred location and was told yes. Then a day or so prior to pick up u-haul called to inform me I'd have to go to a different location for the trailer. The trailer they gave me was the wrong equipment but I thought I could make it work. It was also dirty, as though a landscaping company had used it last. After complaining to customer service about your false advertising I was sent to a THIRD location to get the trailer I had reserved. Lastly your equipment is extremely overpriced. I recommend to everyone to avoid u-haul and research other means of moving.Rickey G.

The vehicle was parked out in a gravel drive and was not locked. Also, it was supposed to be equipped with a dolly, and was not. The agent I spoke to was kind enough to remove that charge from my bill, so that made me happy.Candi H.

Went to return the truck at this location and was told I could do the 24/7 drop off, when I got there, there was no drop box for key return. It was extremely late, left the vehicle, and had to return the key the next day which was very inconvenient.ZACHERY H.

Truck had electrical issues and broke down 200 miles in. When tow truck driver came and mentioned the driveline bolts was not tighten properly. I have pictures from the tow driver showing how loose they were.They were nearly out which would have caused a major accident. Wil be filing a complaint!William M.
I was transferred to this location through the help desk as the location I chose was out of my size trucks. (Out of the way and no compensated for miles. This was addressed to the online help to add.) However, my online changes didn't carry over. The office was closed due to staff having covid and I was not notified. My equipment was not in my truck nor was the keys. After jumping through hoops we got ahold of someone to bring us a dolly and the keys. Look inside and it was dirty with someone else's necklace. Nice. But you don't have comment boxes for that at pick up. So covid staff didn't clean the potentially contaminated truck. As I was getting gas, I looked in the other passages door to find a few used masks, trash and other garbage. I get to my place of moving ( 1.5 hours late due to the issues) and wouldn't you know, there's no ramp. Why pay for a dolly with no ramp? Why not insure your guest know it doesn't have a ramp? Self checkout program is clumsy and not intuitive. It took an hour and a half to just get it to work. No one told us what to expect, or what to do. The U-tube video does not explain the process in detail, showing the steps on the app. The verification process is intrusive. Not using the self check again. It needs fixing. Charged me for extra miles and an extra day without telling me. When i rented the truck i was told returning it at 1:00pm was fine. I rented it at 9 am. I only had truck 28 hours. We had to pick up the trailer in Caldwell (30 minutes away) rather than in Boise (3 minutes away) because the trailer had been dropped off by the previous customer at the wrong location. Fortunately, this did not cause any major setback but it would have been nice to pick up the trailer in the planned location.REBECCA KRISTINE H.

The truck had a few scrapes and such, but really in good shape otherwise. We did have to go to another location to pick up the furniture cloths, and they had NOT been cleaned since the last use. First time EVER!!! Booked the trailer with customer service and was told the facility opened at 5:00 am. I roll in at 7:00am and I'm sent away because they don't have UHAUL staff until 8:00am. Come back, only trailer on the lot. Never seen that before. Hook up the trailer (1st Class customer service at this location) test the lights and no turn signals or break lights on the right side. Customer service rep tried new wiring harness, failed. I had no choice but to take the trailer (only one on the lot) and off I go. NEVER EVER happened before with UHaul. Always the best equipment, always. Then the kicker. I drop off the equipment at a neighborhood UHaul and the staff cracked the door and told me to park the trailer next to another trailer. To interaction, no assistance, no unhook, NOTHING!!! WEIRD RIGHT! Never before have I had to park, unhook and inspect a rental with UHaul before. It had to be solar flairs or let's just use the BS reason â€œCOVIDâ€. I'm a loyal UHaul client. Just VENTING. They asked for my opinion and sent me a survey. Be careful what you ask for.JOHN R.

Personnel were very nice. Process was quick and easy as I had reserved online. My only complaint is the truck fuel gauge was on 1/4 and paperwork reflected that. I refilled tank to just above the 1/4 line but was apparently charged for additional gas because I received a notice of additional charge on my card.SHARON ANN B.

The online system is not working properly. When I brought the truck back, the online system told me the odometer reading was lower than when I took the truck. I ended up calling and talking with a representative. She assured me that she was able to fix the problem. I sent her photos of the odometer setting and the gas gauge, which was on FULL. However, when I checked my bank statement the next day, I had been charged over $500, in addition to the original almost $50, for a one-day rental. I downloaded my ending contract. Not only was a charged to fill an already-full gas tank, but the odometer reading showed over 300 extra miles! When I called, I was told I would not be charged for the gas (although they might still charge the fee for filling the tank), but I would still be charged for 300 miles I DID NOT drive! Now, I'm told that this will be "referred back to the local manager". Good customer service should have started with refunding the extra money immediately, since the issue is with their faulty system.Laurie O.

It was not well lit and without the one other UHaul parked there, there's no way I would have known I was in the right spot. There was a sign but since the gate was locked I wouldn't have known that I could park the truck outside the gate. The website return was clunky and prompted me to pay additional fees even though no one told me there would be more fees charged. Overall experience with UHaul was mediocre. Truck was safe, drove well, and fueled up, which was a positive.Nicole H.

Terrible experience. If I ever need a UHaul again I'll make sure it's a corporate store and not an affiliate. First off the keys were not available at time of pick up and the business was closed for the holiday. Combination lock boxes were available but were unlocked and had no keys inside. The vehicle was left unlocked and no keys inside it. After calling UHaul directly and finding out another vehicle was possibly available, though uncertain, I checked the return box and found the keys were in the return box. We were able to salvage the day by retrieving the keys from the locked return box with a bent piece of wire found on the ground. Once in the vehicle I found it was nearly empty on fuel and there were dried bits of food in the cup holders. After returning the vehicle later I realized I had forgotten my gate opener. I called the business the next day and asked them to check, the clerk stated he checked and did not find it. I then went to the business, found the truck was unlocked and the opener was in plain sight as you opened the door. All around a very poor experience. Again use a corporate store for your rental.Paul G.
