Stopped in the day before to ensure the equipment was available since the phone number on the U-Haul site was incorrect. Upon arrival I was told that their computer system/internet has been down for two days. I was told that everything was available and if the internet was still down the next day, they would send me to another U-Haul. Upon my arrival they only had one person running both the store and trying to get the rental set up. Once the paperwork was done, I was directed to the truck, and it was filthy inside. I ended up sweeping it out myself at the U-Haul location. The person got my pads together and brought them out tossed in a shopping cart and I had to put them in the truck. I also requested an appliance dolly, and he started to push out a regular one. He went truck to truck looking for the appliance dolly since none were inside and I ended up having to drive approximately 4-mile round trip to pick up a dolly at another rental center. This place is totally unorganized, the equipment is obviously not properly checked for cleanliness, and it surely needs some maintenance. The steering drifted while driving and the wipers shattered while it was raining and totally made visibility poor. Over the years I have used U-Haul on numerous occasions for moves and local hauls and this place has been the worse experience and, in my opinion, should not be operating as a U-Haul rental center especially when there is only one person doing everything.
Robert MTHE VEHICLE WAS SUB STANDARD. IT SHOOK IN LOW SPEEDS AND SEEMINGLY HAD NO SHOCKS. We felt every small spot on the road. My back hurt after driving a few miles. In addition, I planned my day for a 20 foot truck but was transferred to a 26 with not chance to get one from another location. I planned a 20 footer due to the locations at getting things and delivering. The change was not appreciated, even though the store did not charge me for the "upgrade" and for a few blankets. Cudos to the manager.

Harry NExterior of building seemed dirty and lot was full of pot holes. The store itself seems a little scary. Glad to get out of there.
David ZIt took over an hour to get checked in and they didn't even have the correct truck. the man at the desk had no clue what he was doing and waited way too long to call someone from u-haul for help.

Carol DI did not have to drive far but the truck was at a half a tank when I picked it up. Returned with over a half. Overall enjoyed the quick pick up and drop off.
SEAN MTh only problem they stated the gas tank was full but it was at 7/8. I filled it up with three gallons of gas and only drove 21 miles. I attempted to get reimbursed for one gallon of gas but they said no.
DAVID KI still recommend UHAUL. However, today I had a bad experience because there was a technical issue and I waited 3 hours to pick up the truck. I had a scheduled time to my commitment and I had to re-schedule it.

MARK FI booked the reservation online and declined the "safe move coverage" of $15.00. When I arrived to pick up my truck in a convenience store, we were interrupted we were interrupted numerous times by customers purchasing snacks and beverages. When I went to drop my truck off, the staff member could not print me my receipt because the "printer was broken." They said that they would email me a receipt later so I left. When I got the receipt, they had added the $15 charge without asking me. I called the location to tell them and the gentleman said that I would have to call U-Haul (Aren't they a U-haul representative?????). I asked him for the phone number and he hung up on me. I had to call the corporate number to get a refund. Before I rented from this location, I saw a lot of negative comments about the associates being rude. Why does U-haul allow this owner to represent them?

DARRYL GClean the trucks (inside and out). Upgrade your franchisees- the location is sleazy, stinks of pot and the staff have a bad attitude. I was told that filling the fuel up on return was 'my mistake". I should have done some calculation ( not sure how) to determine how much fuel I thought I had used and then just put that amount in. In all my years of truck/car rentals I have never come across such a crazy system - just tell the renters to return the truck full. Period. I will not be using this location again. And how about that legal contract that I'll was supposed to read on my phone- all 30 plus pages of it!!
Derek HWe dropped the truck off when the facility was closed. There was no QR code to scan and check the vehicle in. Left keys in drop box and called the next day. All was good.
MILO DSubject: From Excellent to Appalling – A Tale of Two U-Haul Experiences I had such an outstanding experience picking up the two 25-foot trucks—smooth process, clean vehicles, everything on point. I was genuinely impressed and optimistic about the day ahead. But that all changed the moment I walked in to return them. The clerk on duty was imbecilic, obnoxious, and borderline illiterate. His tone was so aggressively rude, it felt like I’d stepped on his daughter’s tail just by entering the room. The hostility was unprovoked and jarring. If I owned that franchise, he would be fired on the spot. His behavior left a sour taste and completely tarnished what had started as a positive experience. I won’t be returning to that location, and frankly, I’ll think twice before renting from U-Haul again. One person’s attitude shouldn’t have the power to derail a brand’s reputation—but in this case, it absolutely did.

JAHN Ggood hours for drop off and pick up The truck had a serious safety issue, The engine shut off three times , and the dash went blank while driving at full speed. It happened twice on the bay bridge in Maryland ( where there was no place to pull over). I was able to restart the truck with the turn of the key while it was coasting with the engine off. It seemed like the key was not seating well within the ignition ( felt loose but I am not sure this was the issue). I told the service person when I dropped off the vehicle but I wanted it documented in writing as these needs to be followed up on by Uhaul.
HERMAN CI picked up the truck with 1/4 tank of gas. My round trip was 49 miles when I returned it. I was told the last registered gas listing was 3/4 tank of gas. I had to put $62 worth of gas in it for a 49 mile trip.

Ralph COrdered uhaul 15 foot truck at another location because Cranberry Mini Mart said they did not have one on the date/time I wanted. At other location, the truck was blocked in. Called uhaul customer service who apologized and said they would offer me a 25 foot truck for the same price at Cranberry Mini Mart. I had to have another person meet me there to help drive a bigger truck. Meanwhile everyone was waiting for me for the move. I got to Cranberry Mini Mart where a 25 foot truck was in the lot. However, while I tried to explain what customer service did for me, I was totally ignored and told he did not have the keys for the 25 foot truck. He offered a 15 foot truck. At this rate, I was behind on the move and had people waiting for the truck. The truck sounded like it was going to breakdown, had a dent in the door, and got 7 miles to the gallon. Luckily, I didn't have far to go. I am upset with the mixup between uhaul and the Cranberry mini Mart, and the waste of my time driving all over Cranberry. At least I got Something, but how can you have no keys to a truck in your lot?

TIMOTHY DThere were problems on pick up. Computer system was not working well. I stood there waiting for 20 minutes even though I did everything online before pick up. Drop off was easier.

ALEJANDRO DI had brought the rental back with what it went out with. (Between 3/4 and full). When I returned it I shied the picture and the guy put down 3/4. I shied the error and he said “don’t worry it will show correctly and you will it be charged). I got my e receipt and of course I was charged two gallons for (9.50). I went back to the store and the person that checked me out was gone and the person now there said he would not refund me. I called the police and ended up getting my 9.50 back. Anyway,poor customer service until I was finally able to discuss and explain and show my picture and receipt. When police arrived, everything was resolved.
CARLOS ENo printer, the store stunk like grease but it was open at 7am!
Kyle SMy truck was generally clean but had several large screws in it, so it wasn't swept out after last use. Also, there was a leak in the upper left loft area (vary rainy day) and two boxes became wet but the contents weren't damaged. U haul website was difficult to maneuver and contained inaccuracies (truck return location, etc.) but the man at the counter straightened everything out.
