No fuel in the tank the gas light was on and it started beeping before i could get to the gas station. I turn around to let crown motors know what was happening he said he knew. I have never rented a U-Haul what no gas in it.

Gas tank was on E so there was an empty message showing and I did not see the initial mileage to confirm it was correct. When I returned truck after putting gas in it, the ending mileage said I had traveled 49 miles which was incorrect. I only traveled 10.2 miles in total. I have never rented a uhaul that was left on E. I returned with more gas than it had but did not put a lot in since I used very little. And now I’m being charged for 49 miles! I will be disputing the charge but I’m very frustrated by the inconvenience.

I called U-Haul customer service number because of being displaced from hurricane Helene and losing everything from the hurricane. I was unable to switch drop off locations online due to the U-Haul website not working properly, at no fault of my own. I called the customer service number and was told by a manager that it was not the problem of U-Haul that I needed a different location for drop off. I was charged a double charge due to not being able to switch online. This is unacceptable customer service from U-Haul during a natural disaster. U-Haul should be ashamed to treat their customers with such little compassion. I expect U-Haul to make this right immediately. I have been a U-Haul customer both independently and with my business for nearly 15 years. If this is not made right, I will certainly not be able to use U-Haul again. My number is 2294910177.

Cons: uhual is extremely expensive and no longer affordable They no longer offer unlimited miles and you pay a dollar on the mile which is ridiculous. I replaced the gas in the vehicle and was still charged for the gas and it took almost an hour in the scorching heat to get the vehicle key because the slow and glitching system was not working purposely to the point I had to call for assistance. Poor customer service on uhual they definitely need to come up with a better method for pickups so people can just pick the vehicle up when they arrive instead of doing everything once you get there. The pros were the location was easy to find and the keys were easily visible when it was time to get them.

Customers should have help hooking up trailers. If the location rents the equipment they should atleast be able to assist with the connection proccess.

I turned in the car trailer early and talked to them at turn in. They did not inspect or receive the trailer at that time because the "husband wasn't there and had the phone." My account was charged almost 3 times above my contracted amount.

I found it difficult to use the QR codes. I was unable to separate the three codes. I finally just dropped the keys off after taking pictures of everything.

I got a uhal from a tiny little run down mom and pop shop that was dirty and the lady helping me was on the phone with her mom the whole time she helping me it was rude then after receiving the keys for the truck I go down the street to get gas and someone point out I have a flat tire on the truck so I spend $3 for air for said tire. Also as I'm trying to put air in the tire I noticed the was no valve in the valve stem plus the stem itself was so rusted and corroded that it would turn to dust if you touched it.(30min) so I call customer service and had to wait on the phone for another 45 min trying to figure it out then I had to sit a wait on the repair another (1 hour) on top of the 2 hours to do the job just to finally be able to use the uhaul. After I complete my job and made sure you got the truck the same way I got it (but better) I talk to the girl who is again on the phone with her mom and explained the situation I felt like I so have gotten a discount for my time no being able to use equipment I paid for

Crown Motors was also a hard place to get into. There was an agent there who could have cared less about my complaints or what I had to say except that the back was clean. I did however receive this survey to which I believe I have been as truthful as possible without being ugly.

Everything about our experience was great EXCEPT using the app. I’m not sure if the location is in a place where reception is not great or if the UHaul app in general just doesn’t work correctly most of the time. If the app worked better our experience would have been 100% but because of connectivity issues I would give our experience an 80%

Location is hard to get into. Plus, if you return the equipment early when the office is not open, they will charge you an additional $20 for dropping the unit offer when the office is close even though online at Uhaul.com it states they are open 24 hours. Beware!!!
