It appears, the van was not cleaned because it was returned after hours and I was picking up first thing in the morning. I even had to wait for the clerk to obtain access to the lock box with the key. The fuel level conveyed verbally and stated on the contract was a little different and caused me to return at a lower fuel level as required.Mei L.

Was charged for 5 gallons of gas for supposedly bringing the uhaul back less 1/16 of gas. Manager was belligerent and would not discuss the issue.ROBERT D.
The guy was very unprofessional. We had to wait for him to check the vehicle in because he didn't realize it was brought back. He didn't want to so he tried to send us to another location but we told him we would wait. When we got in, the vehicle smelled like marijuana and we bright it up to him and he said they always smoke I'm the vehicles. I thought the vehicles were non-smoking. He didn't clean or sanitize the vehicle before he checked it back out to usEBONY B.

This has been the worse experience of my life with uhal. I have spent thousands trying to fix the problems they have cause. By having to reschedule our move over and over again from not being able to pick up the uhal to not being able to return it on all three occasions sitting for over 1 and half all three times to pick up a uhal.Then had to drive at 12:00 in the morning to a different location just so it could be dropped off. Just don't offer 24/7 pick up if you can't get it right. The stress landed me in the hospital which lead for me to be charged for days of having the uhal & it was not being used. . Being charged for a dolly I never received . Overcharged me & haven't sent the 100.00 in guarantee pick up on three days & all the moving set backs. I will not ever recommend uhal to anyone or this location. It's horrible horrible. I want a refund for all the inconvenience. The truck was dirty on the floor and seats had to clean it out it smelled horrible in the uhal. This has been the worse experience ever!!!Deborah D.

Fix your after hours entrance keypad. I went to drop of vehicle 30min after closing however, I didn't worry because you drop off without someone being there. The U-Haul app gave me a keypad code to enter to open gate and then to drop off vehicle. This did not work. I called their customer service and the lady just said to drop of vehicle the next dayâ€¦. So I was charged for an extra day. Not my faultOSCAR G.

Diego (the UHAUL rep at this location) is horrible! First he overcharged me by charging me for items that I didn't even rent. Then when I asked for a refund he processed the refund as a cash payment but never gave me cash. He advised that it would go back on my card and if I had questions I could contact 800-go UHAUL. I ended up doing that and had to wait almost an hour on the phone for them to answer. When they finally did the rep was unsure if the payment would go back because it showed a cash payment had been given to me. However, she told me to wait 3-5 and if I didn't see the refund then to call back. It's been 7 days and still no refund so I called gouhaul and again almost an hour wait. While I was on hold with them I drove back up to the UHAUL location and spoke with Diego. I advised him that I was there because I never received my refund. With a smart attitude his response was â€œso you're here to rent a unhaul or inquire about one?â€. At that moment I stated, â€œNo! I'm here because I want my money back for the overchargeâ€. He proceeded to tell me you can come back on Monday and talk to the manager. I asked him to call the manager to ensure that he'd be there as I was tired of all of the run around. At that moment he repeated himself and told me â€œagain you can come back on Mondayâ€. This time I told him no, you need to call your manager now to ensure that he'll be here. He then asked me, â€œhow much do we owe you?â€ I responded $32 and some change. He shook his head like it was nothing. He then called the manager and the manager told him to give me his number and that I could call him in an hour and he'd try to fix it. My issue is Diego is rude and has a piss poor attitude if it's a topic that he doesn't want to discuss. This is not the type of person UHAUL should have as the face of their company at this location. UHAUL needs to do better! Next time I move I'll rent a truck from Enterprise or Home Depot. Forget UHAUL. I won't be giving my money to them anymore and I don't suggest that anyone else does either.TAJUANA M.

The location was difficult to find and lacked signage to guide customers to the right place, even with GPS! When I finally did find the location, there was only one person working there and he spent more than half an hour with another customer before having time to check me in. This wasted time for me that I needed to use in a dozen different move-related ways. Finally, I returned with two unopened blanket packages and the person on duty refused to refund the cost. He called someone who he said was his general manager and told me that person also said no to refunding the $20.00 I paid for the blanket rental. I thought it was U-Haul policy to refund customers for unused materials, so I'm royally pissed off by not being given the refund.Barry L.

The employees that helped me were super nice and friendly, but they weren't upfront with pricing. I was charged 160 dollars for what I thought was the original price for the UHAUL and then I was charged 140 after I dropped it off with its original tank of gas so it was a total of 300 I didn't know I had to spend. Since I didn't receive return instructions as promised, I was stuck at the gate. After calling the 9098990778 #, I was able to get access and park the vehicle. It was a terrible experience. Not easy at all. When I got to the location I couldn't locate the truck. I asked the person on site who worked there and she was not helpful whatsoever. She had a major attitude and told me to call uhaul. When I called uhaul I was on hold for a very long time and finally just hung up. I found the truck but the truck was blocked in by another truck. So I had to go ask the lady who worked there. She was sitting in her car on the phone. I told her the truck was blocked in by another truck. She rolled her eyes didn't say one word to me and appeared mad that I was interrupting her. She moved the truck and told me to hurry up as she was on her lunch break and on a school call. When I got into the truck the mileage did not match what it said it should be. So that was an issue as well. When it was time to bring the truck back the front gate was locked. I couldn't even get into the storage place and was Locked outside and had to wait until a customer drove out so I could drive in. I had no gate code which was very frustrating. This place was so unprofessional!! I never write reviews. But the money I spent they should be more willing to help. I think the lady that worked there was so unprofessional. I seem to be a big bother to her. If she hates her job then she should work somewhere else and especially not work with customers she has to help out. I get she was on her lunch break but she sat there and watched me try to open the office door which was locked and clearly did not want to help me. Especially with the eye roll and loud sigh when I asked for help. I will never return here again.Stephanie S.

First of all I reserved my uhaul at the Fontana location 1 week prior to my day of moving then I get a call the day of that they didn't have a truck for me even tho I made the reservation 1 week prior now they send me to a location in Rancho Cucamonga which is 15 miles away so now you guys add miles to my move which was upsetting now I had to pay extra for something that I had no control off... super frustrating and upsettingFRANCISCO R.

I spoke to a guy name Diego however when I went to go pick up the truck he wasn't there. Somebody else help me when I brought it back there was no one there and I talk to a girl who told me they will just send you an email of how much it is so I received my bill but they took Out $30 more out of my account I would appreciate it so I can call me my number is 909-519-1121ANNA B.
First of all the guy who served me stepped on my commercial driver's license and broke it I have to take a day off work and pay 56 dollars to replace it I make anywhere from 500 to a thousand dollars a day I haven't here any about helping my out with my expensesMARK C.

Bigger UHaul sign needed since the location is easy to miss from the road, the way to get to the office through the gate in narrow and a bit confusing and also need bigger and more signs, and you cannot go into the office because of the Covid19 precautions and you have to wait outside.Robbie C.
I will never use U Haul again.. reserved a 26' truck two weeks before we needed it.. 5pm the night before we received a phone call that there were no 26' trucks only 20' and I have to pick it up an hour away. We are moving out of state and this was too small. Now I have to make a second trip back to California and pay another months storage due to their error!Paul C.

Rude. 3 mistakes caused much stress. Wrong size truck available (even when reserved 1 month in advance), no trucks at west location so transferred to different location who had the wrong pickup date and fewer moving accessory rentals. I was disappointed in being advised at the return of the vehicle that I needed to refuel it...I did all the reservations via the app, and it never mentioned it. By the time I dropped off the car, there was no need to refuel as it would've costed more to put more miles.Andrew D.
