Not necessarily this Uhaul location but the brand in general. I rented the Uhaul from a location closer to my home. They then told me that that location didn't have both pieces that we needed so we had to drive much further to go to Shreveport. Gas is very expensive. They gave us an extra day for the inconvenience. We did not need that. Then upon arriving at the Uhaul location, they didn't have the dolly that we rented. We were then told we could go to another location and rent it. My husband is hard headed and didn't want to go anywhere else. So then We ended up having to carry all of our appliances by hand. This was just overall a bad experience.Breana C.

I reserved two 26 ft trucks, tow dolly and four dozen pads. I had to go to three locations to pick up. Pick up time was 10 a.m. This was inconvenient and unacceptable. All these items should have been transferred to a service center for pick up.DAVID B.
Personal who work at these locations should give customers adequate information, because moving is very stressful. To be sent at locations who sent you to another until you went to 4 other locations before you reach to the right one is devastating. Initially I have to pick up truck here and another 40 miles pick up trailer and reservations were made before. Consider your customers needs give all the info and to the other party at the receiving end cobby hole was not my only location,9380 Mansfield Rd Shreveport LA. My reservation was moved to this location from a different location a few miles away. I prefer to check in with a person, but when I did, I was told that I had to do it online. Even though someone was sitting at the front desk right in front of me. I was unable to do it online because it said the reservation was for the original location. The agent was able to work some magic to make everything all right. Sure would have been nice if the truck had a full tank of gas.Raphael C.

we were in a bind, having reserved a 20 foot truck weeks ahead at the Bert Kouns Cubby Hole, only to have been told that they couldn't get the previous renter to return the truck. We were sent to the "Hollywood Ave UHaul Center" to get a 15foot truck (the largest that they could let us drive to Fayetteville AR..). Thanks to the valiant efforts of "Travale's Moving Help", Travale and John got a lot of our stuff loaded on the 15foot truck and suggested that we get a trailer to haul behind. This "only 6x12 trailer available in all of Shreveport" served our purposes, although it reeked of motor oil or diesel fuel... The lady at CubbyHole3 was as helpful as she was able; the staff at Bert Kouns CubbyHole were obviously trying to retrieve our truck but appeared helpless to be of real help; and the lady at "Hollywood Uhaul Center offered to adjust our allowed mileage upward to make sure that our trip would be covered and, with the side trip to pick up the trailer, we were still charged for roughly 40 extra miles. On the positive side, the truck performed flawlessly and the trailed towed smoothly AND the moving help that we arranged through your website for both loading and unloading were absolutely spectacular.Randy P.
The employee that hooked up the trailer for me did not get it attached properly, therefore it came unhitched while I was on the interstate. It then took the location over an hour to call me back for assistance. Had I not had someone stop to help me, I would've been sitting on the side of the interstate for over an hour. She was very apologetic once she did call me back, but it's unacceptable to not respond to someone in need for that long. Upon dropping off the trailer, it was discovered that the wrong trailer was given to me in the first place.Stephani H.

Give customers either their money back or a credit if anything happens that is no fault to the customer....i was given false onfo about a uhaul and was injured at my unit because it was malfuctioning. I did not get anuthing but an im sorry which doesnt takes the pain away. I will be having my attorney contact this company i will have a suit on this company. Now i have to pay for doctor bills when ishouldve been given either a new unit or someone help me....LASHEKA M.

Very excellent service. When I picked up trailer one of the lights did not work so I thought it was the trade but come to find out it was my vehicle that had a blown fuse. One of their maintenance guys came and found and fixed the problem for me at no charge, I tried to give him a tip and he did not except. I call that great servicerandall C.

I rented a 6x12' trailer and I had to unhook it and take it off the hitch and set it on a stand. They said they normally don't get this kind of equipment in their location and were not equipped to handle it. There were 2 women in the store and if not for me being prepaired to unhook it and unload it, I would have to take it to another location.Jeff B.

Unfortunately, Cubby Hole storage would not honor the free month storage rental. Representative advised this discount applies to U-Haul storage facilities only. That is outrageous and should be posted and printed so that the customer is aware. I have been a customer for almost 3 years and I am very dissatisfied. If this facility accepts U-Haul rental vehicles then in my mind they are business associates of U-Haul and should honor the free storage rental. Once again....extremely dissatisfied looking to cancel my service ASAP.NICOLE T.

When a customer is scheduled to pick up a trailer a phone call letting them know the location will be closed for an hour for their only employee to go to lunch would be courteous. And two women trying to lift a trailer onto a hitch was very straining and difficult!LORETTA W.

I was surprised that I had to tell the attendant how to lower the fender on the auto transport unit and strap the car down. He did admit that this was his first time to send out a auto transport unit. Thankfully, he did offer to guide the motorhome to the trailer using his walkie-talkies.MIKE B.

I was told the location opened at 7 am. Not true. My beef is with U-Haul 800# people. They had me get a truck in one location and car dolly in another location. Not good.ROGER B.
I rented a tow dolly. The rep connected the dolly to my vehicle but informed me she didn't know how to load and tie down the vehicle. I surely didn't know how to do it and ended up going to another location for that. Fortunately for me as a disabled vet, that rep handled the situation because I couldn't.BARRY H.
