Clerk left the building 10 minutes prior to our scheduled pick up time and returned 20 munutes afterwards. With an apology she stated "we're short staffed". Left a bad taste in my mouth. Poor customer service in my opinion.

Darrell CI was supposed to pick up a 5' x 8' trailer in Halifax, found out the day before it was no longer available and the best U haul could offer was a 4' x 8' trailer in Kentvillee NS, 1.5 hours each way from Halifax Very frustrating - I could not fit my mattress at all, and had to leave it and a couple of other items behind to give away. Very costly to me.... 3 hours of extra riving on the day of my move, which already involved almost 7 hours of driving, and I have to buy a new mattress. Thsi is the second time this sort of thing has happened to me with U haul, considering buying a trailer instead for future needs.

Gary GThe truck had less then 1200 miles on it when we picked it up. It was dirty and smelly on the inside. I took it home and gave the cab a good cleaning. The truck worked very well on the drive to Ottawa. The people at the drop-off location were very nice and friendly.

When I realized I would be delayed in returning the trailer, one phone call was all it took for adjustments to be made. The entire team makes a point of getting to know their customers and are willing to go the extra mile in facilitating a quick and smooth rental process. The manager went so far as to degrease the electronics coupling on my truck for me to ensure proper signal light functionality. I am extremely impressed and will take any future business to them without question. This team deserves to be recognized for their aforementioned commitment to excellence and exceptional effort to be the community's one stop shop for all things moving.
JAMES REverything was fine. The equipment was clean and a reasonable state of repair. There was a problem with the surge brake being applied repeatedly in short succession when riding over bumps on the road. It made for a very uncomfortable 14 hour drive.

TAYA FNo issues with this location. They are amazing to deal with. My issue is with Uhauls policies in general when it comes to a vehicle breakdown. We have a corporate account & rent 3 uhauls a week. Generally with no issue. 2 weeks ago however the engine blew in the truck we had rented. We had the rental for 7 hours when this happened & it broke down 2 hours away from our place of business at midnight. It costs us money to retrieve our equipment & we had to get a different vehicle (not a uhaul as we couldn’t get one in time) to finish the job we needed it for. Despite the breakdown, Uhaul wouldn’t refund us any of the uhaul rental cost. We still had to pay for a full 24 hour rental since they can’t charge less than that & we had used it, even though it was broken down for most of that 24 hour period & we only had access to a working vehicle for 7 hours.
