There were no issues at all with the location or the equipment. The online pickup was terrible though. It took nearly 25 minutes to get the keys to the truck. The app didn't work and pictures that were required to be submitted wouldn't load. The rep I was chatting with asked for a picture of my DL that I had already uploaded and then it took about 15 minutes to verify my identity once everything was there. This was advertised as an easy and fast method of pickup and it was anything but that. I definitely wouldn't do that again.

The use your mobile to pickup truck is the most horrific experience I had with UHaul on Saturday 10-5-19. I was scheduled to pickup truck at 8:30. I didn’t leave picking up truck until 9:30 which I had movers scheduled for 9am for 2 hours through Moving Help. Due to me being 40 mins late getting the truck to the movers I lost that 40 mins of the 2 hours but the movers were excellent. I called customer service before doing this mobile pickup to see how it worked and the rep made it seem like it would be 5 mins and that’s it. I put in all my information for check-in but didn’t know you had to be approved so once I put in all information it stayed on the same screen getting approved for 20 mins so meanwhile I decide to call customer service and stay on hold for 30 mins and once a rep picked up and I explained the screen she was like Hmmm I don’t know what’s going on let me get you over to troubleshoot which I stayed on hold another 10-15 mins and then I explained again and she was such an unconcerned representative and when I said oh wait looks like the approval is going through now once I finished explaining and she was like ok so what’s the reason for your call I wanted to scream but held my composure and said please stay on phone until I have the keys in my hand. She did but she wasn’t the friendliest while waiting. Never again will I do the mobile to pickup truck. I’d rather deal with a live person to pickup truck before using the so call convenient use your mobile to pickup.

Worst experience ever, the trucks hor never worked, the tow trailer was in tough shape and the strap for the car wheels broke while driving, very unhappy, I will never use u haul again.

Staff was not friendly. It felt like it was a nuisance or undesirable for us to be there as customers. Location was dirty and smelly with at least 4 cats roaming around. Facility opens 8:30 but no one is there for uhaul service until 9:00. Will never give them my business again.

The pick up location told me that 24/7 share is only after hours and that U-Haul has a glitch mind you I’ve used already plenty of times so I know how it works but she insisted even after I was fully completed and giving the truck number thru the app she still made me wait 30 to get me the truck for no apparent reason specially since I was starring at the truck the app says was reserved me honestly felt very mistreated and discriminated against

It was very convenient to our home. The gentleman came out and unhitched the trailer immediately, no fuss, no muss! I said it wasn't clean, but it is a garage area, so I didnt really expect that.

The inside of the truck was clean. However, the truck itself was all scratched up. This location is NOT a 24/7 truck share location. The site wouldn't let me get through the process of getting the truck. So, I had to go in. The lady there who does the U-Haul contracts didn't get there until after 9am. While she was friendly, that doesn't make it okay that the truck was not available when I was told it would be. It was actually still blocked in and locked behind the gate. I was told that they were not informe that I was doing a 24/7 truck share pick up.

I was left in the Mountains of Dalton Ga with No tow with fire to trailer for a long time. I had no service from 3:45 pm to 11:00 pm with a baby 6 months , grandson 5yrs: and a passenger with Lupus and chronic illness , wife , daughter .

The location was closed and mostly fence with no clear sign to the front since it look like a multi-used facility and your web app where I can go to report that the vehicle/ trailer have being drop off didn’t work. No one the next day send a text or message to inform that they received the item. Besides that I will used U-Haul again

uhaul was probably the easiest part of my moving process

It took 30 minutes for the approval process to gain access to the key for my U-Haul. I was very dissatisfied with this as I had movers waiting for me that I was paying by the hour. Just know, you need to make at least 30 minutes of time to be able to gain access to your truck. It will not be ready for pick-up at the time you selected.

When I called to let them know I was running behind schedule for drop off, I was told that they were expecting the auto transport that evening and that I just need to drop it off on the grass in front of the business even though they would be closed. When I picked up the trailer in fort Myers I was told if I didn't get to Tampa by 5 pm it was alright to just return the trailer the following morning.

VERYVERY RUDE, and charged me 13.50 for what? Returned with more gas then when picked up and cleaned the truck my self. 13.50 for what shits and giggles I hate u guys.

The lot was to small to get the truck into safely. There were a ton of cats running around and the staff was more concerned about the cats then anything else. They took the keys and said I good. Later I was charged $22 for something that nobody knows why.

Teach your employees how to properly attach a vehicle to the tow dolly. They did not correctly attach the tire harness and caused me to almost loose my van.

The place looked like it was abandoned. I had no idea what to do until I texted a number and was told to do everything online, even though I already did everything online to expedite my check out process. I wasted an extra 40 minutes (with movers waiting at my house) figuring this whole process out. It was terrible.

Truck smelled like BO and the ac didn’t work st all. Just from this experience i will probably never rent from uhaul again. After all that money i spent I would Of taken it somewhere else

We used the U-serve service, but was 1hr late for pick up so we encountered problems at the beginning, but after speaking with a uhaul representative, our issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. Please note, if you are more than 45mins late for pick up with u-serve, your reservation Will be suspended/canceled.

The location was hard to find and the address numbers are opposite to the flow of traffic. The business office is unkept and cats walking around everywhere. Lastly, being honest and straight forward with customers are characteristics of a good business, I will not use or refer anyone to this location in the future,

The location is filthy with multiple cats running around. We returned the rental on 5/30/2018 with fuel. A few days later we received an email stating that the truck was never returned. The next day we went to the drop off location for clarification. We were told by Laura that the truck had been received and they had rented the truck out 2 or 3 times since we returned it. A couple of days after that we received a receipt with multiple charges. We contacted Darrels garage via phone and we were told that we never returned the truck, which is why we were charged fees. Darrel, Laura, and the regional manager John were extremely rude to us. John stated that we must have given the truck to a friend. John also told my wife that she needed to "let her husband handle it because she obviously didnt know the facts." No one has been willing or able to rectify this issue and we are greatly dissatisfied. We will never rent from uhaul again we will advise our friends and loved ones to do the same so that they can avoid issues such as this. We have rented multiple uhauls and rental cars in the past with no problems. When we went to the drop off location on 6/7/18 for additional clarification, Laura yelled at us and slammed her fists i her desks telling us that we were lying about returning the truck. As I tried to explain the truth, Darrel asked us to leave his business and he said we needed to take things up with uhaul. Another person in the estsblishment had to hold Darrel back because he proceeded to charge at us! They have video cameras inside to prove this (although the cameras dont show Laura's desk). We have never experienced such terrible customer service in our lives. We will be making calls, writing letters, and seeking further guidance in this matter because it is absolutely unacceptable.

I spent over a hour with the clerk, your system of trying to put a contract on the trailer is not user friendly as i found out while she had to call tech support 4 or 5 times, and if a computer is down the contract is nonexistent meaning no trailer... The user interface should be one page,easy for the user to deal with... Computers were made to make life easier not more difficult, if it were my company I would reevalueate the programmer that made your system to create and print a contract, It should be simple not rocket science

Clean equipment before issuing to customer. If a return is scheduled on a weekend and the business is closed on that day, let the customer know to take the equipment to another location. I would suggest notifying that other location in advance. The return location staff were terrific and helped me avoid a $200 "wrong location fee". Still though I found this to be very good value and will definitely use U-Haul again. -Dave

I dropped off truck right after they closed but gave the manager the keys and everything.i received a call from U-Haul because they never put my information in the computers until Sunday.i dropped the truck off Friday 5pm.

I came at my reservation time and had to wait for 20 mintutes for the dealer to get off the phone and his wife was rude to me.. when he finally did get off the phone it took him forever to print out my reservation.. I prepaid for my reservation but then he said that it didnt come with insurance I declined the add on because I thought I already paid for it.. when I tried to add it back on afterwards he refused to do so because he had somewhere to be and he closed at 5 but I had to wait 20 mins for him to get off the phone.. he told me the gas tank was at 3/8ths full but it was at a quarter tank full.. when I was waiting on the lot I was on the phone with traffic to add in the insurance the owners wife asked me to pull off the lot so they could clothes the gate. I just moved into my very first apartment and this dealer made it extremely difficult.

Rental personnel has little knowledge on how to work the new computer software. Also you are told that you can park inside the car sale lot but if you don't make it by 5:00 PM you end up with no private own vehicle because they lock the gate at the lot. So yes there is a 24 hour drop off but you can not get the vehicle after certain time. So you end up putting more miles because you have to drive the rental vehicle back to your location.
