Customer service came across as frustrated and a bit rude. Maybe end of the month is more chaotic. Not thrilled that our location changed TWICE. Super inconvenient. Uhaul is super sought after though so I'm sure none of this matters. Also I think I was charged for an extra day.BRITT K.

I went to their gas station around 8 am in the morning and they didn't open their store. They suppose to open their store by 6 am. After the wait of an hour, a guy came who do not know how to open their system to put the information into the system. After 30mins another guy came. Who did the rental process and said he will help to secure my car on the auto trailer. after struggling of an hour he said he can't help me because he don't how to secure and left the place. I was in the middle I had no idea how to secure. Now I was asking another guy he said I don't know how to secure it. Finally, I secure my car with the help of youtube. Those guys left me in the middle of the road. I don't recommend going to their store even for gas.Gurshara S.

The check engine light was on, didn't have a furniture dolly but was charged for the regular one that I didn't need. I required the furniture doll and Less then a quarter tank in the truck. Person at the counter was however very kind and respectful.TERRANCE B.

Rented this vehicle for 3 hours and drove it 13 miles (21 km). When I took the vehicle the tank was roughly half full. Upon return the gas station attendee sat in the vehicle while I had to pump gas to get the needle to what they thought was the correct place. They made me put in $20 in gas, claiming that Uhauls aren't very good on gas. I tried explaining they were making me put in $1 for every km I drove, and no the vehicle wasn't idling at all during the time I had it. They should have filled the tank before I took the rental, lesson learned. They also park the Uhaul in a gravel lot that gets muddy when it rains, which means you are going to have to wipe out the floors if you don't want to get dinged for a cleaning fee.Ian J.
i reserved from U haul on Regent Ave. about 3 weeks before I needed it.. I did change and moved up 3 days. I arrived at location and they told me to go to this other location with no directions on how to get there. I am from Ontario and it was not easy to find. When I got there the man at the U haul was talking on phone. He said it would be 5 -10 minutes before he could help me. Half hour later he got off phone when my wife walked in and wondered what was taking so long. Just not a very good customer experienceDAVIDF G.
The on line option for getting the vehicle took waaaaaaaaay too long. I was waiting over 20 minutes for the verification process and it was very irritating. Eventually I went inside and the gentleman there helped me. He was a very good employee and I appreciated all of his help immensely.HILARY C.

Hi, I would like to say my rental experience with Uhaul was fantastic!!! This isn't the first time which have all been great experiences that I rent a truck or trailer for my moves, however this experience was by far the best!. There was a hick up up at the beginning but Winnipeg Head Office was quick to respond, handled it professionally and swiftly. The 26' truck had an awesome comfortable seat, AC and cruise control. Newer truck and not problems from Manitoba to Cobden Ont. Drop off point was at Renfrew Self Storage and they (Lori) checked in with me and asked how things were. I needed to take an extra day and Lori was very accommodating, professional and very pleasant to deal with. When I dropped it off at Renfrew Self Storage it was after hours and Lori was still there, I was pleasantly surprised because it was late. Like I said my experience was fantastic and it was due to caring,professional staff and the dedication and commitment on on both ends. I would highly recommend Uhaul to my friends co-workers and anyone else who will listen. Bravo Zulu to it's dedicated staff and Uhaul. You will differently get my business again and again. Location was very congested and was more concerned with dealing with C-Store customers first. Not a customer friendly location, very poor setup. John in customer service and maintenance went above and beyond to help us. Our trailer was damaged, with the right fender in deplorable shape from a previous customer. The fender and tire should have been replaced before allowing it to return to service. Again John did everything that he could to reassure us and provided us with a number in case we had any further issues. John was excellent to deal with and turned our bad experience into one that we will use U-Haul again in the future. Thanks John!GARY R.

Made reservation at the Regent only to get there and they have no trailer. No advance information was provided. When asked why the employee snapped and said the trailer tire had a nail in it so that was that and gave me another location to pick up a trailer. Not to impressedWayne B.

The facilitator operator did not even look at the trailer when we returned it but simply checked everything off on the form. When we told him that the lower pair of lights on the back of the trailer were not working he said he would take a note but wrote nothing down.CARL W.

The guy who works at this location was so rude and did not refund my deposit as well . When i ask about the deposit said there is no deposit from you . Or we should call if there is any.sorvinder S.
So many things went wrong. Contactless pickup at 1st location didn't work and they could not find the lockbox combination. Sent me to second one who ended up not having the truck I wanted even though the system said they did. Ended up with a larger truck (was not charged for a larger size though) that had a broken exhaust system and my ear still hurts today it was so loud. Overall very disappointed.Thomas H.

Pick up location changed after reservation made. Then, when the person explained where the new location was, made a comment about being new to Winnipeg, even though her explanation was WRONG! #1 and Dawson intersect at Deacons Corner, not St Boniface. Location is brutal. More stuff on the counter to sell weed than anything else, made me uncomfortable to be there. Truck wasnt ready. Was dirty. had 1/4 tank of gas. How much less effort can be made here? None, this was an awful experience. Guy on the counter kept saying - wait, need 20 minutes, go to your car, we will call when we are ready. Whats the purpose of reserving if its not going to be ready on time? Clerk had to use his phone to do the paperwork. Not professional at all. This rental scores a 1 out of 10. I will not rent Uhaul again. Back to Enterprise.Jeff B.

Out of the way location, situated in back of a car wash, only 2 other pieces of rental equipment on property, small convenience store with gas station in front, disinterested clerk was too busy with other customers, ended up just asking if i could just leave trailer out back.STEVE K.

When I arrived to the Esso, the person wasn't ready to serve me (has to open the computer). When I give him my license driver, he question me about my name ( need your full name Mrs) and ask me my birthday and look at me just like it wasn't my identity! Look at me like suspicious??? It took him way to much time to serve me , at least 15-20 minutes. The lights on the right side of the thriller wasn't working.Keven M.

The first location was cancelled on me, the 2nd location the hauler was missing a tail light. The third location by the time I got the trailer home I had a flat tire and the other tire was so bad it was replaced to. The call in number for road side assistance is horrible, the website for help is impossible to find and leaves you unsure it even was workingJohn S.

The Dawson Road location was fine but the reservation was made at your Regent location. We showed up to pick up the 26ft truck we reserved only to be told they didn't have it there and we had to go to this Dawson Road location instead to get a 26ft truck. Very dissapointingTanner G.
