Les DresslerCab interior smelled like cigarette smoke in an old bar room. Rear box smelled like someone just unloaded a wagonload of hay and cattle. Cleanliness and fresh aroma would be a major improvement. Vehicle ran well, and the staff there was very very friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Edmond NealyThe Only Problem I Had Was My Phone At The Time Was Not Taking Pictures So Christine At Dayferts Auto Was So Super Sweet And Helped Me Enroll If I Not I May Have Been Screwed. My Suggestion Is If I Were A Business Owner I'd Put A Kiosk Somewhere Either In An Indoor Location Or Under A Covered Shelter. Your Going To Have Some Folks That Just Aren't Phone Savvy Have To End Up Canceling. Im Not A Phone Genius By Any Step Of The Imagination But The Whole Process Was A Blurr And If I Wasn't For Sweet Christine Then I'd No Doubt Have To Cancel And Reschedule. EDWARD MCDONOUGHThe people were nice, but the door for the back of the truck was broken. When we arrived home and opened it the door only opened so far. The cable had been all wrapped up wrong and when we called for someone to fix it we were on hold for over and hour and passed around through several different phone numbers and people. Finally when we were able to talk to someone they said it would be another hour and a half before they could get someone out to fix it. At that point my father was already trying to fix it and within an hour of his time he was able to fix it.

That was very disappointing not sure i will ever rent uhaul again after barely making it to the other place on time to get my rental

Kimberly ChattThe site location was fine. The trailers should have a tongue jack. Trailer is heavy to pick up and put on hitch. Needs more tie down locations. Need some on the walls, half way up, not just the 3 on the bottom of the wall. Other wise ,trailer pulled fine with no problems.

harrison stumpI specifically asked if the truck had been serviced and if they could promise that I would have no problems on the long haul.. Of course they said yes, reassuringly. But at the the 75% mark of our journey the "service indicated" warning light came on, and it took some 15 minutes of concern before I realized the light was saying that the service Interval had been reached (and that it was presumably safe to drive the truck to the completion of our haul.). It also cost me two quarts of oil, to be sure that we had adequate cooling and lubrication to the end. I will add that the steering input was vague and constantly hunting, as though the tie rods and ball joints were worn out. This vagueness of steering demanded constant vigilance on the road, and cost highly in anxiety. Finally, NOT the fault of UHaul, the surfaces of the interstate highways are in dreadful, dangerous states in many places in every state we traversed. This made the steering dysfunctions MORE dangerous.

JOHN KUCHARSKIThe employee led me on a wild goose chase by trying to tell me I needed a converter kit because my vehicle had amber tail lights and the trailer I was renting had red tail lights. This is a false statement and after driving around trying to find such a kit, I was informed by two reliable sources that there is no such thing. I took care of the issue by cleaning off the hitch connectors on my vehicle and returned a second time to finally pick up trailer . Employees renting equipment should have should have a Little knowledge of such equipment.terrible experience which delayed me two hours!
