My pickup location was changed 24hrs prior but customer service was super good and they credited me 50 as my reservation was guaranteed. Pickup location staff also was very helpful.pleasent experience

This was an awful experience with this location and U Haul. I was ripped for fuel charges costs whereas I clicked pictures before and after to prove it but no one responded to the request. One too many things went down the hill on this booking. The contract was send on my email 3 hrs after the drop off. How on earth does it makes sense to send contract 3hrs after the drop off? The u haul representative never came to check the odometer and fuel level while handing me over the vehicle . After repeated attempts to talk to someone @ u haul I couldn't get hold of anyone and to make the matter worse I have been getting messages to pay the remainder by 7th Jan else there would be $30 late fee. This is U Haul at its worse I have never had such a depressing experience at any business. I would never recommend anyone to book a rental from U Haul

Make sure back of truck is clean and maybe make the trucks full on full so when returning the truck easier to measure how much to put in.

Fuel wasn't full when we got U-Haul and contracts shown it full so I asked at reception, she told its okay we need to bring it back to same level. Now when we came for return , it's exactly 0.1 percent less than what ever was there but they charged us $15 extra saying it was full

I paid them for 50kms(31 miles) before check in. But after check out they charged me extra for 34 miles instead of 34kms. I don't know how to settle this.

The truck was not clean (muddy and had an odour), and it had garbage that I had to remove. I had to lay down a liner to protect my cargo. I suggest thoroughly cleaning the truck prior to renting it

When I got there to pick they refuse the truck as say you have to call head office when open . I had to go head office and they told me there's note that previousl rental equipment was not return on time. I told them saw me proof as I had not rented in last six years. That was not late it was only for 4 hrs. I think uhaul had this note against my ,me they should refuse my booking 5 wks ago when booked not day at pick up and screwed me up

I reserved a 20' truck, furniture cart and one dozen furniture pads to be picked up at 411 Main St in Brampton. I received a call advising that the equipment I reserved would be available at this location, 260 Queen St E. This location had the truck but did not have the cart or pads. I had to attend 411 Main St for the cart and pads, only to find that the location did not have a cart available to me. I had to purchase a cart from that location and rent the pads which I was told had to be returned to the same location. The clerk attempted to charge me $22 to rent one dozen pads that are listed online as $10 per dozen. The truck I rented had the check engine light on. A mechanic at 411 Main checked the truck and said it was good to go after he cleaned the truck out. I suspect he only reset the codes on the truck because before I left Brampton with the truck fully loaded the light came on again. All-in-all while having to drive to different locations in an unsuccessful attempt to get the equipment I reserved I lost over one hour of moving time with people at the residence waiting for the truck to arrive. When I was finished with the vehicle, the 411 Main St location was closed. I returned the truck to 260 Queen St along with the pads. The clerk at that location was to make a note on the file that the pads were returned. As of the time I write this review I have not seen a reconciliation of the account from 411 Main St N. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had in renting a vehicle from your company. It added a whole new level of stress to an already stressful situation and added at least an hour to my day. As a result, although I had the vehicle back before the due time, I was unable to get the truck back to the rental location by the time I had anticipated. I would appreciate hearing from someone to resolve the issue of the account at 411 Main St being reconciled. The contract number for the truck rental was 28866322. Wort experience ever with uhaul. I booked truck online for morning at 9.30 am and I have to leave my apartment before the new tenants came in. I got a call at 5.30 pm prior to my pick up. Lady called and told me that they don't have availability of truck before 6.30 pm. I was very surprised that what's the point of booking truck at the convenient time. I can understand that you can delay for an hour or two but I got truck after 8 hrs of my original booked time. My whole moving was messed up. Girl was over the phone was very rude and extremely unprofessional, she even changed my pickup location. Thanks for giving me a lesson.

I found customer service to be unprofessional and rude at times. She didn't explain contact properly so I the customer had to understand it myself. The actual truck I found to be unsafe. An alignment as well as maintenance needs to be done. Many times within my trip I had to pull over because I felt unsafe. When I took it back I attempted to explain this to staff members but she was too busy having another conversation. All in all a very poor experience

Next time when you hand out the keys please let the customer know that they have to look for the serial number on the vehicle and not the license plate number. I wasted 10 minutes walking around and checking every vehicles license plate number to match the numbers on my key tag.

My experience was pretty bad. 1. As the pandemic is going on, there is no precautions taken by U-Haul to protect the customers. When I got the truck, someone just parked it and the keys were handed over to me. No sanitation or any kind of cleaning was done to protect a customer. 2. The truck was super dirty, I swept and mopped before I loaded my furniture. 3. Main Concern is safety, which is not taken care of. My truck started shaking as soon as I reached 100km/h moreover the balancing and alignment of the truck was was done, have to tilt my steering to drive straight. When the whole world is taking great measures, you are super lient with it, never expected this from U-Haul.

My 26ft truck was not available pick up Brampton drop back Orangeville So therefore I had to get two 20ft truck and pick up at two different locations and both drop back to Brampton. With only one booking promised mileage to cover me bringing back the trucks to Brampton and not the other truck. This is quite unfortunate on my end having to pay $250 for one and the other $180. Nothing the rep said to me was documented on file so therefore it made no sense calling uhaul to figure out why.

Location is easy to locate. Parking for your personal car under security cameras. Twice I've rented trucks and the vehicles were dusty and windows dirty on the inside. Someone's perspective of clean is a little skewed.

I ordered a 26 ft Truck I received a 15 ft truck my travel was 8 Hours Extra with Over a hundred dollar of gas and extra Mileage I feel this is unfair and put a strain on our move financially the wait time is very long on the phone. I would like to be compensated the 2 extra days, part of the gas and extra mileage . This location is understaffed the reps did the Best they could I don't fault them.

Hello, there was problem in vehicle mileage. While returning the vehicle we had to wait for 3 hours. A complete waste of time. This site is a hotel site, its busy with its guest, they don't much attention towards U-Haul.

Communication in your company is terrible. I got hung up on by your customer service line, redirected to a different location, equipment was missing that I had rented, there is no air-conditioning in the truck. An overall awful experience. However, your customer service agent in Brampton was wonderfully polite, and friendly.

So many things went wrong with this experience. It starts at the time I was to pick up the rental. There was a gentleman looking returning a rental who had a dispute about the mileage he used. The rep was handling it well until he went to check for himself and she rolled her eyes and shook her head. I approached her and said I was there for my pick up which should have been ready at 11am. The rep proceeded to tell me that the truck I had rented wasn't ready because the gentleman who was in front of me is just dropping it off. I requested to be given one of the other 4 or 5 trucks sitting in the parking lot and was told this wasn't possible. I was frustrated because at this time it was 11:15a (the truck was due to be ready at 11) and I was now behind in my schedule for the day. I stepped back and I waited for the transaction with the Gentleman in front of me to finish. When he left, I approached the desk again and she began to sign the car out to me. Not once did she ask me to confirm any of the details other than the price. As she handed me the keys, I had asked who disinfected the truck, because obviously she just took the keys from the guy in front of me and gave them right to me. She said that U-Haul does not disinfect the trucks in between customers. I was astonished and slightly disgusted that disinfecting the trucks is not a procedure that takes place; especially when the province is in a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I then asked if she had a disinfecting wipe or spray that I could use to sanitize the truck before I left. She again said no. Ridiculous! Seeing that I was getting agitated, the other rep working pointed out that there was a hand sanitizer dispenser on the wall if I would like to use it. I asked for some paper towel and they didn't have any. I ended up taking some tissue paper and sanitizing the truck with that. Fast forward to when I went to drop off the truck. I showed up at the Orangeville location where I had indicated on the form when reserving online and come to find that the location was closed for some computer upgrades. So I checked my contract and realized that the drop off location was back in Brampton where I picked up the truck. After speaking with an agent on the phone I was told I had to bring the truck back to Brampton. Again, delaying my schedule by an hour. I was grateful that I wasn't charged the kilometres to return the truck, however I then had to drive 35 minutes back to the pickup location and 35 minutes home. Had the agent just reviewed everything with me at pickup (including the drop off location) this all could have been avoided. Overall, I was not impressed with the service I received. As a returning customer, next time I think I'll be looking to rent with another company, which is a shame because one bad experience has turned me away from using your great services.

Location people are super unprofessional. While giving the van they are nice however while retuning the van I ask them to check my fuel however they said no we don't have person now to check and with in 15 mins they send me bill receipt with 15$ extra amount on top of my bill . Holy crap . This is happing 2nd time with me same location as they are operating near to my location I chose them but now no more I will not recommend anyone to visit this location 260 queen st east. Better customer service. Instead of stating what you can't do to help the customer, offer solutions. Look to offer help first rather than argue about the situation as if the customer created the challenge purposely. I made a reservation online and unbeknown to me no location was selected. This occurred because the location I originally chosen no longer had a van available however, the reservation went through as though it did. Upon arrival the clerk told me there was no location and proceed to follow up with there's nothing she could do. There was no real attempt to offer a solution. I had to be persistent and find the solution my self. It worked out in the end but with little help from the clerk.

I was told the gas tank was full...well it was not and took a pic of it...upon returning the truck the lady at Days Inn said it was..I told her it was not and had sent a pic of it in to Uhaul bottom line is I returned the truck with more fuel in it .... not fair to me!

Make sure you know the answers to your customers questions, if you don't, call someone, do not make the customer do all the work. I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism U-Haul demonstrated and will not rent again if I can avoid it.

I booked my truck with dolly and paid for it. Went to pickup truck no dolly available as this location only has trucks and no other equipment available such as dollies,blankets and moving accessories. It was a hassle coz i had no dolly for moving into condo. Customer service was good and truck was available in no time.

UHaul completely messed up my reservation. Provided the wrong size truck and for not fulfill the order. This despite the fact that I had a guaranteed reservation. It turned our move into a very strenuous and over difficult time. The only bright side was the good customer service rep that tried to help me work through the issues.

When I return the vehicle I mentioned to the customer service person that the truck had more gas than was required and asked what the process was, she told me U-Haul does not reimburse but that I could try to call customer service which I will do later. Someone should have told me that ahead of time

Just had one issue. It was mentioned on the website that this location has the dolly for moving boxes. So I had booked 1 dolly for 7 $. But When I went to pick the van, I was told that there is no dolly available at this location and of I needed one, I had to pick it up from another location. I have not been charged for the dolly but just request you to make sure it doesn't happen to another customer next time. Otherwise I was happy with the service.
