Well they changed pick locations on me twice. Then they changed pick up time. Then they shortened my rental time from 24 hours as agreed upon to 10 hours. When I picked up truck gas was on last quarter so I had to go straight to fuel up. Unfortunately I did not like my experience.Dante D.

Very disappointed that I reserved two dollies to help lift furniture to find out on the day of picking up the moving truck they don't have dollies there. So our move was very hard on us physically. If it's not applicable at this location it should say that when trying to reserve. I booked my rental through customer service and nothing and you would think they would have it on file that this location does not have this moving equipment. Also, the truck was empty and we barely made it to a gas station. This was very disappointing. There should be some gas in the truck when you pick it up.Perry H.
First of all, i booked it from 7 pm to 11pm ok however the van was not available at that time. So you have to make sure that the available u haul locations should have enough vehicles for their customers as i had to wait another hour for a vanâ€¦ so i was not a good experienceâ€¦ i tried to call customer service also but the waiting time was long and no one picked my callâ€¦. So it was very very bad experience. I will not recommend the uhaul service at all to any of my friends. So atleast make sure if someone book online and they already set their requirement timeâ€¦ atleast vehicle should be there as false promises donot make any senseâ€¦ uhaul also have cancellations policy right that they will refund for money if the vehicles is late or cancelled but where the person should go if they already packed their moving items.Kulpreet S.
Morning of our reservation we were informed our original location did not have the truck we requested, and we were referred to this location. Upon arriving they also did not have our requested equipment and we had to wait an hour from our reservation time. This caused us to lose an entire hour of our allotted elevator time at our new condo. Highly disappointed and seeking refund.Aashish T.

I had booked my pick up for Orangeville a month in advance. 4 days prior in told i have to go to Brampton to pick up my vehicle. I asked for a credit to make up for the 2 hours of extra driving and addition miles and gas i would be using. I was told i would receive a $30 credit. Upon pick up there was no credit and I was stuck having to pay the full price. When returning the vehicle I was also charged an additional $30 for being over on my miles.JONATHAN F.
I had to move some furniture and I ordered 1 dozen blanket and website showed thay this location has this. Added to Catt booked and paid. Next dat when picking up truck I was told that there are no blankets, what a mess I was in a tight timeline so I had to take the truck and struggled a lot during moving to wrap the furniture.Shujaat B.

Was my first worst experience ever clerk was not helpful when returning truck. Return truck link kept adding a fuel charge after the clerk advised me twice she fixed it she was very unprofessional and a complete waste of time never will go back to that locationYOLANDA S.

While not the location's fault, I was directed to this location (no truck available at my preferred location). It was a 30 min drive. When I arrived, I was told as they are not a full u-haul center, they could not accommodate rental moving blankets or a rental dolly. Back to the original location I went with the truck to get a rental dolly and blankets - to find out that a one way rental of said items could not be accommodated. I had to buy a dolly and return several days later with the blankets.MALCOLM F.

The inside of the cab of the truck was very dirty when i picked it up. I had to dust off all my belongings. In addition there was no gas in the truck so the first thing i had to do was go to a gas station. You might want to start everyone with a minimum amount in the tank.GLENN G.

The mobile pick up and drop off is quite tedious and lengthy and difficult to those that aren't tech savvy. The attendant refused to help us saying that once we arranged mobile pick up they can't do anything to help us with the pick up process. Our location wasn't working on one phone so we couldn't confirm we were at the location. It was crazy and stressful..Kenton S.

Trucks were very dirty specially their sitting area. Tried to change the truck. But second truck was also in the same condition. U haul should take responsibility to get the car cleaned before renting out to new customer. Other than this, truck AC was not working. It was too tough to drive truck in hot summer day without AC.Vishav D.

Customer service at the days in was incredible. They were very helpful but I would not recommend anyone to Uhaul. Uhaul on the phone customer service is the worst. So much time wasted trying to get to the right person, staff don't know jack of what's going on. Would not use uhaul again. I felt I was also overcharged for the tiniest truck they have that could not hold all my stuff especially moving over 3 hours away. Now I'm stuck with trying to get the rest of the things there by Friday. Here trying to figure things out. Over $560 for their smallest truck and with no one to resolve it at pick to make changes for a bigger truck after seeing the truck that was reserved for me. I'm pissed. I spent about 45 minutes at Days Inn in Brampton Ontario Canada, on the phone trying to get a bigger truck with no one to help and got stuck with a dinky truck. I had no clue what the sizes were. I explained what I had to move and the distance, and that was what I was given, wasn't my choice. Why not given a bigger truck to be on the same side since I said I was going 3.5 hours away. Don't care about location because I have no problem with that. Why not ask about my overall experience. Shitty if you ask me. Worst customer I had to deal with on the phone. I would have rather paid more more for better service elsewhere, could have done without the huge hassle now trying to figure out how to get the rest of the items 3 hours away that does not fit in my car. Like a chair and a big TV, along with more boxes than my car can hold. Stressful to say the least. I was finally refunded $50 but is not enough for the hassle and the additional cost to get the rest of the items there plus the gas to go back and forth. Over $560 plus gas plus paying 2 men and food for them as well for the 2 days and still spending. Not satisfied with the $50 discount. Would never recommend Uhaul.Pauline M.

Trucks Air conditioning was not working during record heatwave. Ordered on line 24 moving blankets but told when we arrived that they did not carry them. Why then was I allowed to order them??? Had to go to another UHaul location after picking up the truck to get blankets. I tried calling several times over 2 days prior to pick up date to confirm rental. No one answers phone at Days Inn location (905-459-4555) Call goes to VM but cannot leave message. Had to Call UHaul's main number to get customer service.Charles M.

She was working for daysinn/ uhaul .we have to wait in line so long because guest were important than uhaul renters. The van renter before people didn't clean,so I mentioned to her she said take picture and show to me.but she was busy I dont have a choice took the vehicle.Indra S.

Worst rental experience of my life. Had to go to 3 locations before finally getting a truck, even though I had a â€œguaranteed reservationâ€. Whats the reservation for?!? Added an additional 40km to my drive. Plus, the movers I hired through the u-haul website didn't show up!!! They said they had no idea about the booking!! One kid showed up at 430pm and said he answers a kijjiji add - which I never posted - for moving labour. One of these guys subbed out the work and kept half the money for himself!!! Truck was not well maintained, air pressure in the tires was low, causing additional fuel consumption, back door was open upon pick-up and cargo area littered with dirt, leaves, and insects. Staff was unhelpful and uncooperative, including threatening to cancel my reservation after getting frustrated with their lack of help. Upon returning the vehicle staff was again unhelpful in returns, and just continuously said "do it online" while I was asking for help in how to do so. Overall, a ZERO out of 5 stars for equipment and experience at the location. Do NOT recommend.Randy C.

Hard to book.. I was use cargo van. It's consumed too much gas. I just drive 107 kms & I was fill 36 litre gas in this. It's just run 3 km in 1 litre gas. & I also didn't add coverage they charge 45 $ for coverage, I returned cargo van in 2 days they charge me for 3 days.Satnam S.

The online booking did not work and had to do it all over again at the customer desk. The equipment I oaid for was not available at that branch which made the move 10 times more difficult which then meant we took longer which meant they charged me extra for being overtime. Make sure the equipment is theore ad to wait more than 1 hour .Apparently should be guaranteed. Too much pressure on the person at the reception. Was really difficult for her dealing with hotel guests and uhaul customers who were all un happy with the u haul service.Zoltan J.
I will never book Uhaul again. Made pick up reservations at 7:30pm and got my key at 8:15pm. When i asked for key at the desk, she said no van is available even though i had my reservation. What can be done to improve is that the representative or someone should look in the cargo area before renting the truck out. The first truck that was given to me as a rental, the previous person to use that truck has left garbage in the back. The employee immediately switched trucks for me but I feel that if they were to physically check it and not rely on photos that this would not of happenedHenry D.
