The operative at the desk was rude, abusive, hostile, and he refused to answer basic questions about trailer setup and operation. I have never experienced a more antagonistic retail employee. He seemed unaware of basic rules of respectful human interaction. It was like being in a room with someone who thought speaking to me was beneath him. I was seriously disheartened to find him wearing a UHaul uniform, as I'd always considered their customer service to be first class. I found the whole experience to be horrible. I have never seen a grown man behave worse.DAVID T.

The agent at this location is very ignorant and hard to deal with. He will argue with you about everything instead of getting on his knees and looking at the rating sticker on my Uhaul receiver also installed by Uhaul. That all 1.25â€ receivers are created equal and rated at 1500lb regardless of the sticker saying it's rated for 3500lb. Then in the middle of taking care of my reservation he takes off to take care of his personal tool rental customer rather than finishing up with his Uhaul customer first. He does not know what he's doing he is unwilling to look at the stickers on the receiver hitch he thinks he knows better than the manufacturer of the Uhaul receivers no matter what the sticker on the U-Haul receiver says it's rated for I rent from U-Haul 2 to 3 times a week and this is the first time I've ever just wanted to walk out without the trailer and would have if I didn't already have everybody lined up for making the move. I would not recommend this location for anything.JOHN M.

the on line process was very timely, the customer service line did not pick up, a more easier process should be put in place, we were actually assisted by another couple trying to process as well.DARLENE T.
This was a terrible experience. It took us over an hour to do the no contact check in. We called uhaul and we're hung up on intentionally when we asked for help, after the person complained they were busy. We paid for an hour of time we didn't even have free uhaul, and it made us late for the rest of the day. The other customers were all having issues and getting frustrated as well. I would never recommend this service or use it again. It was very unprofessional.Jordan B.
When I booked the truck for a 4 hour window, they immediately called me and said I would have to return the truck earlier than the 4 hour expiration. They said that they had booked another rental before the 4 hours were up. They offered no discount or solution. I'm giving them 5 stars because when I arrived at the location they offered me a better deal. These companies that contract through uhaul should not allow for an overlap in bookings.KELLY T.

Customer service was horrendous, due to a complication I was not able to meet the drop off deadline. I called and explained this to the store representative was rude, I explained I will get it there ASAP, and gave a time that was 2 hours post deadline. During drop off I asked if I needed to sign anything and the store representative refused to answer, and just kept repeating â€œleave keys on counterâ€. Will never use this location again.BRAD G.
Unfortunately a horrible experience. The owner or manager has a major attitude towards customers. Never again, as much as we need to support small businesses you're much better off finding another location to rent from.Vito J.
When someone RESERVES a vehicle in advance, do not make them go to THREE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS that DO NOT HAVE THE VEHICLE THEY RESERVED. This was incredibly frustrating and put us an hour and a half behind schedule all because your system is so ridiculously flawed. The attendant who helped me at the front desk was not very personable and left a very bad taste in mouth due to their poor customer service! This was compounded with the fact the I was giving their business a second chance even though myself as well as another member of my family had had bad experiences with booking a rucks only to arrive and find they had been triple booked.Jeffrey D.

Call customers to let them know you will be closed the day of the pick up. We would have preferred to pick up our keys in person as opposed to the ride share. We had a difficult time opening the lock on the truck.Dustin F.

I contacted your customer service department because I was charged for two add'l days. I was only extended one day #1 and #2 I wasn't told I was being immediately charged or I would have provided a different tender. As a result, I was charged overdraft fees. This is a huge inconvenience for me because I am disabled and I receive only one check each month. I requested through Roy that the $40.80 be refunded to my credit card. In addition, I emailed their customer service dept and haven't heard back from neither. The only issue was the customer service. The owner (I assume it was the owner) may have been having a bad day, but he was rude and abrasive. Also, when i arrived to get the truck, it wasn't ready. When he pulled it out of the employee lot, he parked it on the side street instead of the parking lot across from the business. Do I had to drive to the truck and get the key code, then drive back to the customer entrance, go inside, and show him the app in order to get the key. Good customer service would have been to pull the truck to the lot where I would have picked up OR stand on the side street in order to see the app.tamika H.

Absolutely the nastiest individual ever to deal with a customer. The unit we reserved was not available so had to substitute. That was annoying but nothing compared to the disrespectful attitude of the employee handling the pickup DO NOT USE THIS LOCATIONBERNARD H.
I called the day before and indicated I could be an hour or two late. I was told - It would have been another full day's charge. When I arrived an hour early, there was no off street parking or in front, so I parked on the side street. I walked inside, said I have a trailer to return, the man behind the counter was annoyed with where I parked, and I felt like I was bothering him. Never asked for my name or for contract. I will not use this location again for any rental needs. I'll go miles out of my way to rent or return. I was not sure if the trailer was actually "checked in" so I took a picture of the parked, returned trailer. Very disappointing with the customer service.Robert William D.

Man who I spoke to while picking up the truck was overall very rude. When I asked him to wear a mask while we were picking up our keys he said it was â€œhis right to choose if wanted to wear one or notâ€ despite the state mandated mask policy posted directly on his own door. I would rather drive further to an actual u-haul location to not have to deal with that rude man again.Nicholas M.

I was not very happy with the condition of this trailer, this trailer needs to be retired & leaks very badly when raining. I was not very happy that the cost of one way was more than double the cost of the local use option. trying to find a trailer on your website was difficult and having to go to Delaware to pickup this trailer was not very convent. First of all, the truck/equipment was fine. The assumed owner was the most rude person I have ever experenced as a customer. No "please" or "thank you"....very gruff. Then when he discovered I had not parked where he thought I should, he belittled me and told me I had no common sense. I knew I would have to move the car and didn't want to use up his one parking space in front of his store. I was trying to be considerate and he blasted me. When I started to defend myself, he stated "Do you want to rent the truck or not?" What a piece of work! DO NOT GO THERE unless you want to be verbally abused. No other truck was available close by, so I had to rent it. But I wish I could have told him where to put that truck... I will be talking to Uhaul. They don't need people like this representing them.FRED K.

I used the remote access service which for the most part was very straightforward, but I had terrible service at this location which made it incredibly difficult and slow to use. Honestly, I don't know how this is a location. The streets are as small as the width of the damn dolly. And have the nerve for this location to be on a corner. Legally you can't drop it off outside because the sign says no parking but you have to because you can't park anywhere else. This location is great for renting pickup truck sizes and maybe the smallest truck up from that. Anything else will be a rodeo trying to get it in there. Epic fail!!!!Jasmine K.

The trailer wasn't even close to the image of a trailer that was presented. The picture showed a 5' ramp but the reality is it was an 18 inch ramp which wasn't conducive to loading what I needed to haul.Mark B.

Place was closed on Sunday. Dropped truck off at an empty space in front of the building, and left key in dropbox. Seemed to be fine. The lot was fenced off, so if the spot in front wasn't open, it might have been problematic. But as it was, it went smoothly.Joshua W.
