I was told to fill the tank before I returned the truck. When I picked up the truck the gauge was right on full. I drove 33 miles in total. The truck took 6 gallons to fill. The gauge was well past the full mark when I returned it. I would have been charged for fuel had I not returned it full. Yet I had to pay $25 to fill 6-gallons when I used 2 gallons of gas at best. The gentleman where I rented said there is nothing he could do about and directed me to call U-Haul customer service. Fix the fuel gauges on your trucks or change your policy because either way the customer is paying.

I dropped off at night and did not interact with anyone but the next day there was a $12 charge on my bill in addition to what I already paid. Given the fact that it had more gas than when I picked it up and it was 12 hours before the expected delivery time, I don’t know what this charge was for.
Christa HThe person who handled the truck and was there for delivery was extremely kind and helpful
