My order was changed from a moving truck to a cargo van without my consent because someone else wanted to rent the truck I reserved for Saturday on the next day Sunday. My pick up was a disaster, I wasn't able to use the drop off mobile off because it never showed I picked up the truck. I ordered a dolly, there was no dolly. I ordered an appliance dolly and received a regular dolly and then was charged for both. The truck was unsafe to drive due to bad brakes, loose steering, and the transmission shifted hard. I had to have a friend who drives semis come drive it and he said it wasn't safe at all.ELIZABETH K.

I requested to drop the van off in my contract but apparently this location doesn't accept this type of vehicle. How the hell is this my problem?? I got charged a wrong location fee. Total bullshit. U-Haul truck was not scheduled for contactless pickup despite me selecting the Truck Share 24/7 option. The pick up location was closed on the weekend and U-Haul had it set up for an in person pickup, which meant I was not able to pick up the truck on time. I was on hold for 2 hours and was paying the movers to sit around and wait. The reservation was finally corrected and I was able to take possession of the U-Haul. Truck was less than clean and had animal fur and dirt scattered throughout the cab of the truck. Once the reservation was corrected, the process did go smoothly.Zachary Y.

26' truck destroyed/damaged much of the contents during the move. Ride in cab was rough as expected of a super duty, but the back was apparently much worse. Cracked solid oak furniture. Marks indicating items were thrown up the walls of the truck. Smashed glassware. Damaged appliances. Everything inside the bed went from a single layer to stacked randomly on top of each other. Still waiting to hear back from the "contact us with any problems" form on why the trip was this rough in a basically new truck.Chad T.

straps were not right on the trailer. The trailer looked and was just bad from tie down straps to tires. The Unit was not ready and just sitting out in the yard. Being a second business they had vehicles all over the place which made backing up and hooking up the trailer a process.Shawn B.

back of the truck was wet, holding water, I was charged over and above what I was told, returned full of gas and cleanThomas E.
The hitch was very rusty and hard to operate. I needed to use a lubricant to free it so that the trailer would grasp the hitch ball. Also, the door had the same issue with the rollers. It was very hard to open.Eric G.

The website ran slow and I was on it before 10 and it wouldn't accept the picture I had taken but didn't say so, therefore I had to keep retaking the picture and then it was 1 min late due to this and I got charged for another day. I was no happy with this and I do not know who to speak with to get a refund for the extra time as it was due to the site not me actually being late. The people at this location are amazing. They are friendly and fast. However, the truck was awful. It didn't want to start the morning of drop off. Took a few tries but it finally started. The front wheel felt like it was going to fall right off the truck. It also kept losing oil pressure. So in all, the location and the people at the location were great. The truck itself was junk and should have never been rented.Brandi K.
So the location was easy in and out. The truck, for our purposes was clean enough but not clean. it ran great and the cab was clean. When i attempted to return there was issue with the web page finding my location. 1-800 number later was told it was all good and they would leave notes for the location. Actually brought back a day early. No adjustments were made to my bill.Kelly M.
