I reserved a 15 feet moving van. The contract said my reservation was "guaranteed". We we arrived, there was no 15 feet available, it was still rented to someone else.We ended up renting a cargo van. We barely moved half the stuff we wanted. Extremely disappointing. If you say "guaranteed", than you should have the truck available. Totally unreliable. Can was dirty Person serving on pickup wasn't friendly whatsoever. The online pickup and drop off process took over 45 minutes of my Booked time. Generally I don't feel I had a good deal or experience at all and won't use the online process ever again. AwfulDean W.
The interior of the van was disgusting, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned ever. There was dust and grime on every surface and it smelled like cigarettes and sweat... ThÃ© check-in process to get the vehicle took what seem like forever, around 30 minutes. At first the employee who helped us claimed that he didn't have our reservation even after I showed him proof on my phone that we did at that location. I had to go through the process of taking a picture of my license and scanning the back if it twice. I would not have been that annoyed by this but i was already quite frustrated with the awful experience we had earlier that morning at another UHAUL location. We wasted an hour at the other location which is what led us to choosing this less than ideal location, way out the way from our house and where we needed to take the van. All this to say, I will not be choose UHAUL again nor will I recommend it to a friend.PHILLIP VICTOR K.
I appreciated the fact this location was open while almost everyone else was closed. The App to upload driver's information doesn't seem to work correctly and bugged. It may save time and frustration to have an updated App that works. The reservation App could also be more intuitive and user friendly. Thxhenus D.

I was asked to sign the damage sheet before seeing the vehicle even though I asked to see it first. After seeing the van there was unmarked damage in 3 areas so I had to go back inside to have it marked. I took pictures of the entire van. It was dirty inside and out. It smelled like a barn. When I returned it I was accused of scratching the bumper, luckily I had taken pictures of the whole van showing the damage was pre-existing. The damage was not marked for the next customer.Rick G.
Your rental process is really dumb. First, the app doesnt allow me to submit photos. I had to go the website instead. Next, there was no way to submit the validating info (photos of me, license, references...) until the vehicle was ready for use. Well, my vehicle was returned more thn 30 minutes late. The lateness didnt bother me. But having to then WAIT while you finally validate my info is beyond stupid. Its an easy fix. I will never again use.the online.booking until that is fixed.Michael O.

Worst experience ever! After getting the run around over the phone I had enough. Just drove to a Ottawa location who located a trailer in Gatineau. Ottawa sales was helpful. Once arrived in Gatineau location the â€œkidâ€ wasn't old enough to compete the transaction. Waited over an hour for the â€œbossâ€ to show up. Was so rude. Tried calling UHual customer service. But no answer as I was on hold for 20+ minutes. How can you run a business and not be able to sign a person out?DARRENL P.

I did my online check-in ahead of time, but we still had to re-input the complete credit card and ID info at the pickup location. I suppose that system hiccups sometime happen. The van was filthy. The cargo area was full of dry mud, sand and gravel. The cabin was equally dirty, with clear whifs of someone having been motion sick in the recent past... I was also charged for furniture pads that I had booked, but ended-up not requiring. The agent told me the system did not allow him to remove them from the billing. I emailed U-Haul about this, as suggested in your follow-up message, but have not heard back yet.Christian L.

Suposer etre 19,95$ le chinois du depaneur nous a fait un contrat de 2h au lieu de 24h donc jai du paier 40$ de frais et il ose me charger 5$ pour le parking car selon lui en hivers tu dois te stationner dans la rue et te faire remorquer ?? tres brillant comme logique donc un demenagement de 45-50$ ma finalement couter 100$ avec les frais retard car en 2heure cest imposible faire un voyage de 10pied cube au lieu et de sa fameuse taxe de parking qui va direct dans le poche du proprio sur place. Lors de cet appel tÃ©lÃ©phonique on m'a dit qu'il n'Ã©tait pas nÃ©cessaire de rÃ©server puisqu'il y avait plusieurs couvertures sur place. Lorsque je suis arrivÃ© pour prendre le camion on m'a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de couverture et que mÃªme si j'avais rÃ©servÃ© il n'y avait aucune garantie que des couvertures auraient Ã©tÃ© disponibles.
