This is the worst experience I have ever had. I will never use this location or uhaul again. The customer service of the date of return was terrible. I will be using the internet and my blog and my business contacts to let them know how I was charged a late fee and spoken to so harsh I left the store crying, I did not expect to be charged so much and not given any options of explainations . Wow I have been a long time uhaul cutomer but now will use other rental trucks because of this experience> The lady in the uhaul Wrightsboro area never even gave me her name. She needs to be fired, She is a very poor representative!

Don't charge the customer's card again after the customer told you not to charge it and to make the guys pay for the gas or extra fees if there were any.

The clerk did nto explain to me of the time for the van return. I assumed that it was similar to a rental car. I was late by 2 hours and was subsequently charged for an additional day. It seems that the additional charge could have been pro-rated.

Attendant should be clear when the key return is going to be after hours. I mean, they should explain to the costumer where to park the car, and say in advance we should have an extra copy of the contract to drop with the key.

First, I left the location 1 mile away and noticed I had 3/4 tank of fuel which contract said full. I took picture and called customer service. Second I moved during the rain and discovered the front of the truck leaked which made several of my boxes wet. The next day went to start up truck and battery was dead or dying. Had to unpack portable charger and quickly jump 12 volt battery on this truck. Why do you have one 12 volt battery on truck that runs dome light, etc? I never used radio and took keys in with me that night so nothing was left on. Due to those issues I was 30 minutes late in returning unit and was almost told I would be paying for 3 days. I will never rent from Uhaul and in fact everyone I deal with in Augusta or in affiliation with the Masters I will share my story and suggest to go with someone else. uHaul called me and confirmed the 10' truck's availability the day before pick up. When I got there the next day, it was not available. A 17' truck was what they gave me; it was too big (my things were equal to a 5x10 storage unit)so all of my things slid all over. There was no walk-around of the truck and I had to point out the bent metal frame around the rear left tire that the UHaul rep didn't acknowledge. I was notified an hour after pickup that my original drop off location had changed. Upon dropping off the truck, it took 20 minutes for the gas attendant to get my receipt.

This was the first time I have had to deal with the manager. And she is lacking in customer service skills as well as being personable with the CUSTOMER, which is why she has a job. I was the only custermer in the facility yesterday and you would have thought there were ten. I walk in never greated, because she is on her cell phone, maybe after five minutes she acknowledges me. She never smiled nor showed any personality except a bit of an attitude. After getting my truck, it states there should be 5/8 of a tank, and for the third time there it was less. I brought it to the managers attention, which it was barely over a half of tank. When I took it back I made sure the attendant knew the situation. Which I put MORE gas in the unit then it started. I brought it to the attendants attention when I returned. I was charged for fuel. I called this morning, with an attitude from the manager she told me I could bring a receipt in. I told her as she was told I would be in Alabama. I thought when bringing it to her attention everything would be handled. NOT!!!! A poor excuse for a manager! She told me the employees called her last night and she told them to charge me. Very much lacking in management and customer service skills. The time before I rented trucks they said it had 5/8 of a tank, and I had to put 25.00 dollars in the tank after going 20 miles. I have been ripped off from this facility for the third consecutive time. Also the manager was supposed to call me back. Over an hour and still waiting on a call. And a refund.
