I plan on calling GoUhaul during business hrs tomorrow(5/1/26) due to issues encountered. Uprofessionalism from the pickup location due to representative not paying attention to my vehicle backing up to the trailer. He was on his phone numerous times, accounting for three different attempts to place trailer onto my vehicle. Once I made it to the location to pick up the vehicle being towed, the ratchet straps for the wheels were not in working order, there were no rubber boots on the chain hooks, and due to this being a 2001 transam, there was over 2 feet of weight overhang past the front of the trailer onto the tongue leading to an uneven weight distribution. The vehicle I was hauling it with was significantly raised in the front and lowered in the back due to this weight distribution issue, This 500 mile trip has potentially led to damages on my towing vehicle. Once I was at my drop off location for the auto hauler in Russellville Arkansas I had noticed that the inspection sticker had not been updated from the Louisiana location prior to me renting it. To summarize, the auto transport was not in fully operable condition at time of rental, had not had a iupdated inspection sticker prior to rental, and was an unsafe option( auto transport trailer) for towing for the towed vehicle( weight distribution of motor over trailer tongue) causing extremely dangerous driving condition that could not be resolved during the night hrs of the trip. As for the drop off location (Russellville Ar) I had a wonderful experience, the employee was also made aware of the equipment issues, as well as personally seeing the damage to my vehicle that persisted even after the trailer was unloaded. My hitch is rated for 8,000. Trailer plus towed car was significantly below this weight.
