The Uhaul truck needed a wheel alignment barely and it was unsafe to drive. Even after my complaint, they still charged me full price. I was hesitant refill the gas tank that was barely off of â€œFullâ€ because of how bad the truck drove but they didn't care and still were going to charge me 30 dollars since I didn't get gas. I ended up going to get gas and ended up paying way less. I would never rent from them again.ROSHAWN P.

I only used the pickup for ten miles and was charged for two gallons of gas. I consider that to be unethical. Uhaul has always been my go-to rental company. I don't know about that anymore. JamesJAIME G.

My order was changed 6 times the day before my pickup and then changed again the same day 30 minutes before. Your customer service was great in helping me. Especially, meridith. She was wonderful but your system is awful!!!ANDREA C.

when I arrived the woman running the u haul rentals was unfriendly and short. She told me the tire light was on but the helper ( who didn't speak english very well) pumped it up. Wouldn't you have tire repaired before sending out? I stopped to fill up the tank of fuel and the nozzle would stop every 3 seconds. It was aggravating. U haul sent someone out at my location but failed to fix slow gas fill. After I left my destination the tire light came on causing me to lose 2 hours waiting for someone to put on spare tire. A total pain in the _____. This is my third time renting a u haul and every time there have been issues.RORY S.

I was charged some bogus amt for 3 tiny little scratches which I did not cause! This is the third time I've used this UHaul and never had a problem until now! I am 70 yrs old and have a perfect driving record. I was not driving today, my pastor was. One of our congregants generously gave me a couch and love seat which my pastor and the people's 30 year old son loaded them. The side with the supposed "new" scratches was on the curb side of the street yet the UHaul employee told me "somebody must have hit you and you didn't know." !!!!!!!!! So instead of paying $57 I was charged $227! I live on only my Social Security check each month and that little b--ch reamed me! I wish I had a way to check and make sure they are going to actually use my money to fix this pre-existing "accident" I WAS FALSELY ACCUSED OF! I just want to cry. Because this month I will go a little hungry. I will tell the entire WORLD about this!Mary M.

The location and the people were great! Butâ€¦â€¦ the truck needs to be serviced! The ride was incredibly rough!!!! It felt like I was riding on square wheels! Even with it fully loaded it was very rough. It says it suppose to drive like a van!! Not even close! I have driven many trucks and this by far was the worst! My head still hurts. Fortunately, the items I transport were not breakable or they all would be. Please repair this truck before the next person does break all their items!MICHAEL M.

The uhaul website had an error which affected drop off and the next day I arrived late and caused another family to miss their reservation. The person in charge of uhaul rentals was incredibly presides duo all yet compassionate. She was direct in terms of the difficult place it put them in with the family missing their reservation yet still treated me with respect and helped us out with making sure we had the right amount of gas in so that we wouldn't get charged extra, even encouraging us to pop down the street to fill up a bit to avoid the extra charges. During stressful times of moving, dealing with a service person who remains kind yet direct like this is priceless. I highly recommend this location!JAIMIE S.
I have the worst customer service E Mercedes ever in my whole life 1st I had when I picked up the truck at a non speaking English person there who I get um I guess just ran the shop but the lady who checked me in did it over the phone through the business phone and this phone and did not proceed to do it right and then when I went to return the truck proceeded to yell at me because supposedly I said accepted the truck when it said it was full of gas and ham and I both took a picture where it was at a quarter of a tank But she sat there and berated me for about 30 minutes which I have it on tape and scolded me how I didn't do it right and anyoneDaria L.
More pleasant Costomer service. I returned my truck after hours and had to leave the key in the dropbox. The online system would not pick up the location on my phone after trying for over 40 minutes and as a result they issued me a $20 charge for not completing the return "completely." When I called to let them know that the system would not pick up my location upon return & that the truck was equally as dirty when I received it as when I dropped it off, they were not understanding at all and said they would also not refund me the $25 cleaning fee that the charged me, even though the truck was in no worse condition when I dropped it off compared to when I picked it up. They were very short with me and told me I would have to speak with UHAUL directly regarding any concerns. I was overall very disappointed with UHAUL and they're affiliates in handling my rental.MAYA C.
Caesar the man who works there is a not a good representative for your company. He is angry, nasty and mean not to mention rude! I was having trouble backing the trailer into the spot he wanted it and he was very rude and told me I was not allowed to rent uhaul there ever again because I was not a â€œgood driverâ€. Even though I chose mobile pickup, I had to speak with rep. Gate was locked. Rep at location didn't speak English and it wasn't clear what was happening. He just called someone talked about stuff and handed me phone. He indicated that 25 dollar fee if dirty. Used vehicle and came back. Cleaned it out, took pictures. When he was inspecting he stood there looking upset about the trailer. We live in the desert so there were some footsteps in it still but it was clean. He says, "broom," and points at store. I get my broom and humor him. We check mileage and all that. Locks car door and walks away. I had a mask i accidentally left in the truck, i try to tell him. He's 4 feet away. He keeps walking. I made a reservation for a 20 foot truck. I wanted this size as the 26 foot truck stuck half way across the street when we moved into our old place. We were supposed to pick up 8:00 am, at 7:30 that day Uhaul called to say they did not actually have a truck for us. They said the only truck available was a 26 foot truck at Pacoima. We reluctantly agreed to this and set off for Pacoima 17 miles. We were almost to the exit in Pacoima when Uhaul called and said that the truck had already been rented. We had people we had hired to help us move ( thru Uhaul) coming at 9:00am so we running out of time at this point. I expressed this to the Uhaul person and asked if there was anything available further away. He said the next closest truck was a 26 footer in Palmdale. This was 53 miles away from Palmdale. We were getting quite angry at this point, but what else could we do. We back past our house out to Palmdale. We got the truck in Palmdale. The agent in Palmdale said that we needed to return the truck at 8:40 on Sunday. I asked if was OK to return the truck in Canyon Country. She said no, the truck was assigned to them and we needed to return it to them or we would get charged for it despite the Arizona license plate that seemed to indicate otherwise. She said that we had been given a $50 credit, but when we looked at the extra mileage involved (50 miles @ $1.20 per) it would not cover that much less the more expensive truck. We did our move and and came back on Sunday and pulled into the lot at 8:39 am. I tried to go into the store but the door was locked. Apparently they were closed for Easter, it would have nice to have been informed of that but the agent had said nothing to that affect the day before. Eventually we found a key drop box. I put the keys in the box. It said on the box that we needed to use our phone to do a check in procedure with a QR code that was on the box. I have never done a QR on my phone and it would not work on my phone. It did work on wife's phone luckily. We started doing the check in and it asked for truck mileage and pictures of the odometer. We had already locked the truck and put the keys in the box so we could not do this. I don't know why the instruction could not say that we needed to do the check in BEFORE putting the keys in the box. I also don't know why the agent could not mention that they were going to be closed the next day and say something about where the key drop box was. We are very unhappy and angry about the whole experience.NICHOLAS P.

Horrible customer service, will never rent from this location ever again or from u-haul, i can take my business to another moving company. Rented a 10 foot truck 2 weeks apart. First time charged $253 second time $297. BS you say well i agree, went to the same location both times same miles, but if that's how u-haul wants to do business well you just lost mine especially at Dewolfe Lumber CoMARISOL S.
the location and all of the humans involved were great. HOWEVER the after hours return thing involved a website that WOULD NOT function on my preferred phone internet browser (mozilla firefox). It did not give me an error code, it did not say it was loading it simply would not allow me to upload photos and continue the key return process until I tried a different internet browser (google chrome). There was no warning, no compatibility announcement, nothing! And considering there is a $20 fee if the return online form is not filled out, and that a paper form is not an option in the current pandemic, I think that is a dirty way to try and get a few extra bucks from the customer. And it was all U-haul, not the location.Kateri M.

Where to begin...reservation was at 8am- showed up on time, was told by store clerk that U-Haul was not open. Had to wait outside for 15 min for the lady to show up. Upon returning, drop off was scheduled for 8am on Sunday- store clerk told me that U-Haul was closed. Both people were extremely rude. No proper communication to clients about scheduling/drop off. Not coming here again. Don't waste your time.TRAVIS H.

The truck backdoor was not locked, and the key provided with the truck did not match the padlock that was attached to the back door. In fact, the padlock key I was given opened the padlock on another truck in the lot. There was no dolly present in the truck, I had to ask around the business to get an employee of dewolfe lumber company to look for and find an appliance dolly. Upon return I left the dolly in the truck, but did not lock the truck back door as I did not have the correct keys to the padlock to do so. To make things better for the next customer, ensure you have placed a dolly in the truck if the customer requested it, and that its an appliance dolly and not a utility dolly. Also provide the customer the correct key to open the truck door padlock.Christopher G.
