I would not recommend because was told to call the 800 number for drop off when I called I was on hold for 45 minutes and when someone answered he told that I had rented 2 trailers when I told him that I only had 1 trailer he told me to please hold and I waited another hour and he never returned and I looked at my bank statement and I was charged for the 2 trailersjuan J.

I had reservations to pick up a car hauler in Texarkana Texas, when I got there it wasn't available. I had to drive 50 miles to dequeen Arkansas to pick up one, which put me 2 hours behind my travel schedule. Thats bad customer service in my opinion.Tyrone S.

My brother was able to drop off in DeQueen, but didn't get rental discounted for driving all the way to DeQueen. Guess I should have just dropped off in Broken Bow and saved an hour of driving. Disappointed.Gary M.

This location was fine, HOWEVER, this was not the location that we were supposed to pick up at. We arrived at the Texarkana location as we were supposed to (we called and confirmed 2 times prior to our pick up). When we got there they said they did not have the truck and we were supposed to pick up at a location an hour away!!! We got NO notification that we were supposed to pick up somewhere else and when we called to confirm the day before they too said Texarkana location as we schedule. The sad thing is that we have used Uhaul 2 times in a year and this same thing -not having our reservation- happened both time. Needless to say we will NEVER use Uhaul again.katharine I.

We originally were supposed to pick up in foreman, where we lived. The owner of that shop called us late the night before to notify us he had an appointment and would not be able to be there for us so we were responsible for picking up and attaching our tow dolly. He said it wasn't his job to even attach it. Our location for the truck was changed once without us being notified. So we drove the extra 30 miles out of the way to pick up our truck and supplies. We are told that there are no furniture Dolly's that we paid for. We never even received one, after asking for it at multiple locations. We are headed back to foreman and receive a call that the shop in foreman is not going to be open that day so we have to get our tow dolly back where we just came from. So we have to drive all the way back the 30 miles to get our tow dolly. The owner in de Queen attaches it. We are driving back and the tow dolly comes un done and comes off of the truck. Our move was extremely stressful and inconvenient due to the owners of both shops in foreman and de Queen. I have used U-Haul many times and have never been dealt the customer service that we were handed. It was an added stressor that could have easily been avoided if the customer service was better.James B.

Online I made the reservation with intent to return to Texarcana Tx. And at Athen Al I was told that I could return it to any location. When I checked out the equipment I told the gentleman that I was going to DeQueen AR for an event but staying in Texarcana. He added Dequeen to my reservation. I wanted drop off in Texarcana. When I called the Uhaul Cust Service line they were very unhelpfull and only reiterated that if I attempted to drop of in Texarcana vs DeQueen, over an hour away, I could be subject to a fee up to 200 dollars. And with 6 Uhaul locations in Texarcana they couldn't accept it at any of those locations without applying a fee. VERY UNHELPFULL. So I had to keep the dolly in the hotel parking lot for two days and had to find ways to make sure it was secure or A. Drive it early to DeQueen AR an hour each way. or B. Drop it in Texarcana for a fee. The day of (2 days later) I got to DeQueen and there was no one at this facility either. DeQueen has a population of 1460. Texarcana has a population of over 150,000. At DeQueen there were already 4 dollys in the grass. I fail to see how it was urgent they had a fifth one there instead of one of the potential drop locations in Texarcana.Lance C.

Absolutely horrible. I was supposed to pick up a trailer from this location on Saturday and return the following day Sunday. When I got there Saturday, they had closed early. I called U haul and they changed my pick up location to cubby hole usa. The following day when I went to this dequeen location to return my trailer it was closed. I logged in to uhaul.com to complete my return and my drop off location had magically been changed to a town 30 miles away. An hour and a half later, a rep from uhaul said leave the trailer in dequeen per your contract, take pictures for reference and leave. The next day I was charged $88.80 for dropping in the wrong location when in fact I hadn't. Ive called uhaul 3 times so far to get this issue fixed and each time I've been told a refund has been issued and a manager will be in touch. Ive yet to receive a refund or a phone call from anyone. I had called this company before calling Foreman to rent a trailer and truck from, the lady we spoke to told us we could come and get it. We mentioned to her we was ten minutes out, when we got there she never answered the phone. So we wasted gas and time having to drive back. When we dropped the truck and trailer off, no one was there and no one would answer their phone.alexandra D.

The service at this location is terrible. this is the second time we have used them this year and they have given us incorrect information both times regarding pricing and how truck should be returned. The next time I need a rental I will drive 50 miles one way in order to avoid renting from them again.debbie A.
Location was not initially the issue, uhaul customer service was! But after driving 45 minutes to pick it up and not being able too because of cs we contacted the businesses and our calls were declined to voicemail, we contacted another number and it was the owner, he answered and told us his wife was the person that handled the trucks and gave us her number to call, it was declined to vm so I called him back and he declined my calls. For 20 minutes we were on hold waiting to speak to a rep and finally he got the issue resolved and come to find out the confirmations weren't made in the background in order for us to do the mobile pick up at the location. We lost 1.5 hours of daylight loading time and bc of the screw up we didn't have help losing our heavy furniture because our strong friend that was at our house waiting to help had to leave for work on graveyard shift. So the incredibly heavy furniture was left to my petite self and my husband to load. We were loading until midnight. It was ridiculous. And that's only half of the HORRIBLE experience.Cheyenne C.

Improve? Get the pick up location right for the move date. I had more problems with this reservation than ever in all my U-Haul experiences put together and I have used U-Haul a lot over the years and for every move! First book me to a location that was closed on my date to move, I never get a call or email to confirm reservation but when I call I get the run around and promise that I will be called and never was. I called several times to talk to a manager and every time I waited till someone picked up the line and redirected the call back to the beginning of the phone line. When I finally got a pick up point and time ON MY MOVING DAY it was 70 miles away one way! Based on this experience I would never recommend or use U-Haul again! The extra mileage cost me a lot of $ in refueling the truck and I feel return compensation would help in my choosing to ever use U-Haul again! Most terrible and stressful experience ever moving!

The rates quoted on the website and by the locations will screw you for dropping off at another location. BEWARE. THE INTOWN RATES WERE AROUND 18 Per day and I kept if for four days. My bill was almost 200. When you look at dropping off at Another location the rate was 46. They don't give you an option to add a return date to see what the total cost is. They charged my 45 dollars a day for every day. I dropped this off 20 miles from my location. If i had known that, I would have driven the 20 miles and dropped off at the same location and saved my self over 100 dollars. That tells you why they don't give you the option of a return date to see total cost. So sad about such a large company. BEWARE. THEY DO THIS ON PURPOSE AMD YOU WONT EVER MAKE ME BELIEVE OTHERWISE. I will NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN. Customer service didn't give a crap about this and told me sorry the rates are the rates. PATHETIC.Randy S.

Penny Pinchers was excellent place to rent from. My husband got up there and realized I had reserved a trailer that was to large. They didn't make him take the larger one. They changed it to a smaller one. Great people!Denise B.

The representative at the location was awesome. Unfortunately the representatives on the phone thru Uhaul were lacking in professional manners nor did they have any idea what they were talking about they had no clue what was actually on the lot for rent. Also the online reservation was a joke and would not workstacy J.
The Uhaul store is located inside a junk flea market. It stinks and is very dirty. The customer service person made us unhook the Uhaul ourself. The parking lot is weed covered and has junk tables everywhere. Very disappointed.Tammy C.

The location and equipment were phenominal! The reason I didn't rate a higher rating was because of UHAUL itself. The website made it difficult to find my past due balance. The vendor had trouble processing my rental because of this past due balance. It did not tell her why, it just said to tell the customer to call 1800uhaul which required 3 transfers to the correct department. With full 5 bar service, your call center still could not hear me well enough to provide customer support. I tried to email and recieved no response. Hours later I finally got a reply telling me to call customer support. Thats right, your customer support email told me to call customer support. I tried the suppirt chat as well, and once again they told me to call customer support. I told both options calling was not an option because I tried, so what's the purpose of those two options then? Finally After 45 minutes of Web browsing I finally was able to locate my past due balance and the opins of paying it. To top off my frustration, when I tried to pay this past due balance the website declined every card I tried. Every card i tried had the necessary funds to pay and all my information was correct. The vendor had trouble locating my past due balance with your system as well. I tried to help her because I am a professional mobile app programmer. Even I coukdnt find out how to do this. When she found it, she entered my past due payment and it approved. I was finally able to pay and get the rental I reserved. To avoid all of this, I would recommend programming a notification telling customers they have a past due balance during the process of making thier reservation, as well as making it much more easily accessible for vendor and customer to find the correct link to the page. This way, I could of resolved the issue way before reaching the UHAUL location. This experience took me aND your vendor a total of four and a half hours. I was late for my obligation requiring the rental costing me $1213.99 in profit loss contractually. Your vendor even apologized on your company's behalf, and offered to pay me out of her pocket for my time and profit loss. She's a wonderful employee, and I recommended her to a different opportunity of employment. She is the only reason I didnt rate your company to zero. Your company's many faults embarrassed her, and it would of me as well if I was in her position at the time. I would like reimbursement for my profit loss, as I am self employed as an Independent Contractor for Home Inspections. That would resolve my opinion and change of heart towards referring your company. I am however going to demand a full refund for my rental fees, and a refund for my deposit that I still have yet to recieve. Thanks.Kyle M.

I feel like renting from UHaul is much like renting from Enterprise Car Rental - you're promised a certain vehicle and location and when you get there it's not available. We we had to drive almost 62 miles to pick up our truck because it wasn't at the location promised. The rep at the DeQueen store was very efficient and professional.Cody B.
