there was onlly a stand up metal dolly which was of no use to me. A floor board style with the 4 wheels being available would have been appreciated. It took an hour; no kidding, before I got out of there. no fault of the attendant. He was there working alone on a Saturday attending to gas customers who of course had to also buy lotto tickets. The line ups of people buying gas etc. and people wanting U hauls was crazy. The owner of this location shouldn't be so cheap and have 2 people at this location at busy times. What I and others experienced that day......bad for business.

Nathan HCustomer service was worst. Guy is working over there was very rude. He even doesn’t send the bill through email which I told to do. It’s close to my house. But I won’t prefer to go there any more due to this guy.
ALEN AUnfortunately the yard is not paved. At this time of year it’s all mud. However the truck was very clean and service was excellent for both pick up and drop off. I would rent here again and would recommend this location with no reservation.

CINDY WUnfortunately, I'm surprised by the charges; I just travelled below 30 km and was charged $241; when I contacted customer care, it said the truck was taken from Cambridge and given to Brantford. If we had known this before, we would have returned to Cambridge. So, it was shocking and heartbreaking.

KRIS DEquipment buried in the yard, behind another cube van that was completely stuck in the ice and snow. So our vehicle trailer NOT ready to go like assured it would be. We had to shovel it out, use our own salt to get the tie down straps unfrozen on the metal plates that had not been properly put away. We had then the ratchet strap mechanism was completely siezed on both sides, good thing we had our own anit-sieze spray in the truck with us. So in all our own time spent wasted and with our own supplies we finally left after 1hour and 20 minutes behind schedule. So not okay with this. After we picked up the car and everything was slightly less frozen by this time we noticed all the wiring for the lights were cracked and exposed in some places and definitely corroded. Thank goodness we had done a light check before we left the rental place and we stopped a couple of times on our trip to ensure they were still working but it was certainly a concern.
RONALD RI ordered blankets and they had none. I had to drive to another location. I get my receipt and I have been over charged. Not impressed.
Michele WThere was a UHaul place less than a mile from our house but we were told we had to drive 27 miles in the opposite direction of where we were moving to get the truck. The lot near us was a lot bigger and spacious. Why couldn’t someone drop the truck there. ? It was inconvenient for us to drive all the way to Cambridge from Guelph.

JOSE DHave the truck ready for pickup, clean off the snow and make sure the ice is off the back door so it will open. Check engine and dash for any warning lights that might be on.

MICHAEL BIf I hadn’t taken a picture beforehand to document the gas level, I would have been overcharged at drop-off. The person who processed the return claimed the tank was at half, but I left it at one-third. On top of that, the rental itself was filthy—there was bread, small stones, and grit everywhere. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The person who served me assured me I could drop it off anywhere, but later I received a call from U-Haul demanding I return it to a specific location. I had to take my belongings out again to then sweep the truck and clean it thoroughly to remove all the debris as it damaged my belongings This experience was terrible—U-Haul tried to scam me for gas and misrepresented the terms. Never again will I rent from them.
RAHAN HThe great Service made my moving experience all the better, I have been under a great deal of stress and my ADHD symptoms have been increased So being forgetful and easily distracted, I forgot to pay for the gas for the truck and left , And I appreciate their understanding their grace and mercy, instead of thinking that I was trying to take off. SHAWN RIf you're going to offer these services, and allow us to book online, please make sure the vehicle we reserved is there and ready for us. We only had a small window to move our things and the first place i booked with didn't have the vehicle I reserved (304 St Andrews St #3, Cambridge, ON N1S 1P3) which was a super inconvenience and then we were forced to go to to another Uhaul (22 Concession St, Cambridge, ON N1R 2G7) which was a real test for patience for the fact that there was only one employee dealing with customers for gas/lottery, and me standing there waiting to get my truck so I can finally move my stuff with the very little time I had, it was very unprofessional and my move was extremely rushed and not at all how I wanted it to happen. If I had my truck at the specific time that I rented, 1:00pm, not an hour later, things would have gone smoother. If you read this far down then thanks for your time and hope those locations take their business more seriously.
ADDISON SLast time I rented from u haul , we did a walk around checking and marking any damage. None of that was done. Had to take my own pictures before I left. Gas tank was l ft at a quarter tank. Had to waist more time to fill the tank before I left. Engine light was on and told not to worry about it. The back was not cleaned out and previous renter left his license and credit card in the cab. So nobody went through the cab to see if it was cleaned. Truck ran good and worked for our needs.

JOHN BFirst, let me say, the gentleman that looked after me was fantastic. But I shouldn't have to keep waiting while he serves other customers of the fuel station and variety store and delivery drivers. The parking lot and trailer was covered in deep snow and the position of the trailer made it difficult to leave.
JOHN WI would not be able to give uhaul a good recommendation reserve the truck for 9 AM had to drive 100 miles to get the truck I had to wait till 330 was told it would be there at 11:30 12 and then had to wait till 330

Then when I came to return i realized that my dispatch kms and my picture kms not matching. Also I didn't check the the dozen oack of furniture pads when returned it was 11 , so had to pay for missing blanket. All over very bad experience

laila AWORST EXPERIENCE I recently rented a vehicle from U-Haul, and while the rental process was straightforward, I’m pretty disappointed with how they handled the mileage and fuel charges. Customers are charged a hefty $1.40 per kilometre, and we are also required to fill the fuel tank before returning the vehicle. This feels like we’re being charged twice for the same thing – once for the kilometres driven and again for the fuel used to drive those kilometres. It doesn’t seem reasonable to be penalized in this way, especially since the maintenance and rental fees are already high. Moreover, the vehicle I rented could have been better maintained. It wasn’t in the best condition, which made the experience less smooth. I expect more from a company as established as U-Haul. Customers should not pay extra for kilometres and fuel, especially given the current costs. I hope U-Haul reconsiders this double charge system and improves the overall experience for its customers.

SHERI CThey submitted the wrong paperwork, and UHaul thinks I drove 118 miles when I drove 10. They also told me I had the fill the gas gauge to half even though when I took it, it was at 1/4. The key wouldn’t come out of the ignition of the first truck so I had to bring it back, and he swapped trucks but didn’t change the paperwork. The attendant wouldn’t let me see the contract I signed at first and I had to insist. I took a picture of it. I have contacted U-Haul ref 4973203. Terrible service from the attendant and absolutely no initiative to try and fix it. Specifically the employee working the afternoon/evening last night.

DHRUVIT PThe first truck I didn't even get off the lot because the headlights did not work. And I didn't even get a secondary option until 2:00 in the morning. And then he told me I had to have it back by 9:00 in the morning. I won't waste your time with my situation but I will tell you that the stress was not needed. It's been an awful experience. I would never recommend anybody go to this location again. That said, The people that I spoke with on the phone from uhaul were absolutely lovely. I couldn't say anything negative about those people. Just incredible. And that is not sarcasm.

vishvash pThe truck cab was clean. But when I opened the back of the truck there was a lot of dirt that needed to be swept out before we could load our belongings. However the process for renting the truck was seamless.

Couldn’t print the invoice because no ink in the printer. Frustrating experience. Won’t recommend to anyone or use this service again
FRNK AThe rental process was very hectic. The personnel i dealt with we're great, it was just the whole needing a major credit card that was archaic to me. And then the mobile app kept glitching to which in the end, i had to end up using a web browser...what's the point of the app then? The pick up process ended up taking 2 hours, that is very unacceptable! I would rate the pick up process a 0/5!!! I will not using uhaul again!
