Don RobertsonDons Tow and Recovery had apparently gone out of business. There was still a remote drop off box, but had been broken, so the key could not safely be left there. I ended up calling for support, and spent at least 20 minutes going through instructions to open one of the new 24/7 boxes to leave my key in. The locks are VERY difficult to open.

Thomas StockThere was no actual business, it was in an empty parking lot. Nobody was there for my scheduled pickup. I made the reservation online, but had to call the number online to get someone to show up. Then about 8 hours after already having the trailer, I got an email cancelling my reservation. So I called the U-Haul number in the email to talk with someone and the lady went ahead and did the contract over the phone because the company didn't send it in. Then when I returned the equipment the next day, nobody was there and I was told to just leave it because they were closed. Then I got a bill today and was charged for 2 days, when I returned the equipment on time the day before. I also emailed about the incorrect charge, but have heard nothing.

Amber CarverWe were not aware that our contract was not finalized when we left until we received a phone call asking if we weee picking up the uhaul. We had picked it up 5 1/2 previously and was loaded and headed to our destination. I had to finalize the contract over the phone.

MICHAEL DURNELLYour records are so screwed up, night before pick up you sent me to another location (13 x2) miles away and they didn’t even have the equipment I reserved. In Butler the lady was rude, additional equipment reserved was not with truck, we had to go to furthest point of property to get Dollie’s… and they didn’t have the 2 doz moving blankets. I will never use uhaul or recommend again. Posting experience on social media

luis lopezThey failed to give the right keys to the assigned truck upon arrival. This also happened to another customer that arrived at the same time as myself. When called, they said “don’t worry about which truck is assigned. Just take the truck that matches the keys.” Well the contract signed and truck approved are different which leads to contractual issues and further issues if something were to happen to the trucks. Please teach them the importance of accuracy for future customers.
Patrick CookVery poor service. Called ahead to verify trailer was there. Stated yes but only available until 2 P.M since they had a wedding to go to. Arrived, and had someone there to take information but couldn’t complete the transaction. Had to wait over a half hour for someone to come and complete it. The lady was very rude and upset. Complained she had to come in on her day off.. poor experience picking up trailer. Then waited over 20 minutes to them to get the trailer ready for hookup.

Jack SmalleyWe went through 4 tow trolleys before we found one that the lights worked on it. The first one blew a fuse on my truck. I think they should have a way to test the lights before a customer hooks up to the dolley. I wasted a lot of time. Don's was great about being helpful just disappointed in the equipment. It was also not wide enough tow dolley for my van so on turns the vender hit the side of my van.
